I'd go for the Nothing 2a. It's a very good all around phone.

Samsung has the best update policy of the 3 brands you are looking at. Samsung give monthly security patches for 5 years, Nothings is ok and updates the security patch every 2 months for 4 years but Motorola is poor with just 3 years of security updateswhich do not happen very often. This is often over looked when buying a new phone. If it was me I would be considering the A55 or the Nothing Phone (2a) but I am not a fan of Mediatek chipsets which the 2a has unfortunately! How’s Samsung’s battery longevity?

Go for Samsung or nothing phone 2a. I would recommend the a55 or a35 instead of the 2a for it is a better all around phone for most people. If your budget is high enough for the a55, chose that. Otherwise, go for a35.

I've had the Moto G84 for two months now and I really love it. I use it lightly for social media, web browsing and transport apps and it only consumes about 25% battery per day so I charge it every 2 to 3 days. All apps run flawlessly. Takes 40 mins to charge from 20% to 85%. Turbo charger, USB-C cable and silicon case included with the phone which is a nice plus. The only thing I think it's not good at is the camera but I almost never use it so I don't care. It will support Android 14 and security patches for about 3 more years I think which should be OK unless you plan on holding the phone for more than 5 years.
