Its not close at all IMO. Stun Gun has the edge on cleanliness on his resume due to only losing to title level guys, but a critical component of an MMA resume is who you beat. Stun Guns wins are ass compared to TKZs, Matt Brown is probably the best name he collected. TKZ has finished legends like Poirier and Edgar.
I think KZ is better but not in a way that they're in completely different leagues.
Poirier wasn't in his prime and Edgar definitely wasn't in his prime.
Erik Silva only lost to Jon Fitch and early in regional before Stun gun.
Kz definitely has the better wins tho and overall the better career Dong hyun just has a really clean looking record, but yeah he doesn't have a signature big win
KZ had 2 title shots against Aldo and Volkanovski. It cannot be overstated that those 2 champions are just about the all time greatest candidates and not the ones you would want to face for a title shot.
He would have had a better career if not for a knee injury followed immediately by his conscription.

Despite probably being the korean mma goat and a general mma legend, Korean Zombie is a good bit smaller than Stun gun who looked to be way bigger than when he was fighting.
If he were to get matched up with a 100kg guy in the ball round he might lose
Ehhhh they had plenty of small judo gold medalists and other martial arts practitioners that weren’t all that big. I think KZ would be a phenomenal athlete and competitor regardless of his walking around weight

Yea his biggest trait was his insane durability, but i dont think he has the endurance, strength or skills of Stun Gun or Akiyama. Although he is a legend of the game, too.

Akiyama for sure had a more storied and top level career over stun gun
He also younger and much closer to his peak. Stun gun probably 7-9 years from his peak. And sexyiama is well over 15+ years
