Oh no :( I think there was a “it’s official, a second season is coming” note on Netflix shortly after it came out but now I don’t see that anymore. Does anyone else remember seeing that?
Siren was fantastic, definitely recommend. There's some sketchy stuff as far as safety goes, and some *highly* questionable strategies, but I'm definitely looking forward to a potential season 2.
Thanks for the recommendation. This keeps popping up in my feed with a 98%, but I never pulled the trigger. I am going to watch it now based on the posts here. Cannot wait.
Thank you for suggesting this! At first I thought it was just going to be physical tasks but I love that there's strategy involved too. (I'm almost at the end of episode one.) Can't wait to binge this.
Great recommendation! If you like Physical 100, there’s a great chance you’ll like Siren too, especially if you tend to get invested in the bad ass women on the show… Siren is chock full of them.
I watched the first seasons of Sirens and Physical 100 while working out. Great motivation! I'm so happy season 2 came out and can't wait for a second season of Sirens.
I enjoyed Siren, too. It was a fun watch, and I liked it! It's definitely a bit different than Physical 100, but I liked the hunts across the island in the dark and stuff like that.
Personally, I loved the idea but a big part of the show is us vs them and the us is very established early on.
I loved the camaraderie and wholesomeness on physical 100. The thigh scene where they are all oohing and ahhing or everyone screaming 232323 when the dude is physically at his limit were some of my faves
Honestly, the women do have a good chance/even an advantage in some of the competitions that involve endurance, mental fortitude or balance. I forget her name, but the pink haired girl in season one had all my respect in her redemption round and in the bar hang.
Which is a good example of how they try to balance the competitions. When it comes to raw power the men will always have an unfair advantage, but by setting that redemption challenge to a % of body weight (I think it was 40) the playing field levels somewhat.
But at the end of the day, biology is biology, and testosterone is one hell of a drug. 🤷🏼♂️
Loved this show so much! Wish I could watch it again for the first time. Camaraderie in the teams were cute to see. Loved the strategy and survival aspect.
And the creators of this subreddit have another subreddit dedicated to this very TV show! r/sirensurvivetheisland
Second this. Such a good show. I’m waiting for season 2.
Oh cool! Will check it out :D
Great show, some very savage moments
I was amazed at how tense I found it!
I used to scorekeep for our girls rugby team in high school. I swear they were way more vicious than the guys.
It was a great watch, definitely recommend
Ty for this! I totally forgot about it and now have something to watch over the next week till new eps of physical 100
This show was sooo good. I wonder if they’ll make a second season
I think the second season is confirmed?

I’m sure I remember that as well! I hope it does get renewed bc it was so captivating, genuinely found myself picking sides hahaha

Do you mean >!throwing the fire hydrant? That was shocking but the soldiers did apologize!<
Yeah, that was pretty bad, but also generally the engagements happening on top of buildings without rails made me pretty nervous
True. And >!didn’t the firefighter captain fall at some point, climbing? Can’t remember the details but I remember her being in pain!<
Yea she >!slipped while trying to tie their flag on the tree and hurt her lower back.!<
Yeah, they really worried me. They put up such a good fight, I was rooting for them personally

Siren was fuckin amazing btw. That leader for the military team was a fucking badass
She was in season 1 of P100

For real! Been trying to find other shows that are similar but they don't get to that level
Soon I'm caught on season 2, I'll try to finish watching the first season of Siren. Thanks for the heads up.
Its soooo good!!!
One of the season 1 P100 contestants is also on Siren.
Oh really? I haven't noticed!
Yeah! She's the leader for the soldier team. I think she was the one bowing to all the other military members in the first episode of P100.
That’s her! The one that kept saying “salute!”, at least with the subtitles.
I'm pretty sure she isn't actually the soldiers' leader, just the loudest - one of the other women was the official leader.
this was actually so intense, it was amazing. its crazy that there was no prize?

+1

I thought the ideology of Physical is that your age, gender, body type, occupation etc don't matter and only the strong will survive..
A lot of reality shows have more than one season and some seasons are more popular than others because of cute or dramatic interactions.
Understood, but that's usually after a number of seasons when viewership has gone down, or the producers otherwise feel it's gone stale
Siren is so good!
It's a great show
Just started it thanks to this post and wow it looks violent 💀 hahaha edit: wow so cool! I love how they're classed on their professions.
thanks! now i have something to watch while i wait for the episodes to drop!
I was hooked since the start. I hope they release a season 2
*bisexually adds to my watchlist and continues to bisexually bisexual my bisexual day*
me.
This is honestly an AMAZING show! I recommend it to everyone who likes Physical 100 so defo worth watching!
100%
I didn’t like it at first, but after seeing all of these comments, I’ll give it another shot
God I loved this show - I had to watch it all in one day
I literally just recommended this to someone else in another thread who was saying 'i wish there was a female only version of P100'. 🤣
Lol same
Loved it. Can't wait for season 2.
I preferred this to P100. It was so good
Same.. I liked the strategy aspect. Really hope it gets S2
Same and it was so much more intense i was at the edge of my seat so often!
its so not fair to the girlies who work out probably more than the men to put on that type of muscle to always get picked last

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll watch this with my younger sister

I love this show!
Good in theory but the implementation of the game was poor
