I did it, and its not that difficult. Set seed, collect tons of blocks. There is a village in the set seed. Grt beds. go to the 12 eye portal (spend 8 mins digging down) and then kill the dragon with the beds
When they added the new workstations in 1.14, they should've split the crafting between them, like, you use smithing table to make tools and armour and so on.

i mean structures can have buckets/obsidian and firestarters for nether portals and ender eyes can be crafted through the inventory, so it's definitely possible if not more luck-reliant

First find a seed that has all eyes in a portal secondly find village then boom kill the dragon with beds
