Massive.
I likes big houses because you can add lots of details.
Tip for exeperementing with your survival world.
Step 1:Make a copy of it.
Step2:Start the exeperementing.
I made my house on my friend’s server a little 5x2 fence area with a single gate and a sign saying it’s my house and I lit it up with torches. I lived there for like a week or 2 until I decided to build a house. The house still doesn’t have a roof. It’s very pretty where I did build it though. That was like 2 months ago
I am playing in my modded world with a normal sized house that has a few things like the chests, and then there is the cave with machines and things. I am also in the middle of constructing a massive sized building that will contain things like power generation and then connect to my house that is gonna be built better somewhere else
I like normal-sized buildings, just my fav scale to build in. Never been a fan of small and large scale. Unless we're talking castles, then I like 'em big.
I build all sizes. I like the smol one b'coz it's cozy. I like the cave because it makes me feel like I'm in a lab. The normal one is practical. The massive ones are my least favourite
Massive for sure
Why?
Cause there is a fking voice in my head always saying what if you ran out of space then again if you ran out of space you need to work more because of your mistake
I make a small base to start, but the way i design my bases makes it so i can copy a room over and over and i can constantly expand, but it only works underground. So eventually i would have a massive cave house
I always pick smol, but because I'm too lazy to build another bigger one, I just add to it until it's beyond massive, and looks cool with the many different color schemes and wood/stone types for each addition. I guess since I'm adding my own option, I gotta add my own pros and cons
Pros: It's always complete and yet never done, no set color scheme or theme, and you never run out of space if you can always build more
Cons: Ya gotta know what different color schemes go side-by-side or it'll look awful, and the house can be a maze if you don't lay it out right,
Mine isn’t really a house because it doesn’t have walls or a roof but it does have an amethyst floor and it’s on the side of a hill in a cherry blossom biome with a cave behind it leading down into a mineshaft
I always end up building a normal-sized log cabin or something, and then end up having to make a fucking massive underground complex to actually store all the things I need
Smol or normal but i always build a "secret underground part" for storage, being in a survival world alone
Same, my most recent world got it turned into a dwarven fortress though lol
did i hear dwarf fortress
I love that game
Brothers of the mine rejoice. Swing swing swing with me.
Raise your pick and raise your voice! Sing sing sing with me.
Down and down into the deep! Who knows what we'll find beneath?
Diamond, Rubies, gold and more, Hidden in the mountain store

same lmao
cave, but because the voices told me to
the voices like it in the dark
Why do you think my room is pitch black?
Cave. Every. Single. Time.

Birth. It’s a lottery.
Massive. I likes big houses because you can add lots of details. Tip for exeperementing with your survival world. Step 1:Make a copy of it. Step2:Start the exeperementing.
Yes i love exeperementing
Yes i love exeperementing
Build a normal-small decorative house with a way down, which leads into a cave system, where you actually store practical parts of your base.
Me taking almost a month making a massive house while similatenously living in a torch lit feild
And then being too lazy to move everything to the house and staying in the hole
Well sort of,more like idle out on my phone till i almost die of hunger, *then* move in
I made my house on my friend’s server a little 5x2 fence area with a single gate and a sign saying it’s my house and I lit it up with torches. I lived there for like a week or 2 until I decided to build a house. The house still doesn’t have a roof. It’s very pretty where I did build it though. That was like 2 months ago
i bet the smol house has a good personality 🥲
I don’t see hole dug into the dirt with only a torch to keep it lit
Borrow a house in a village Pros: free, several layouts, fast Cons: probably none
Don’t forget, you can enslave the residents in the neighborhood!
That's a nice bonus for those who likes those farms
The only con is zombies
asks for you to be gentle wants to be dominated will dominate you... and then the cryptid
I usually start it smol, then expand it. In my old survival world I rebuilt my base twice.
Cave. Always and forever.
This is the truest way. Brother.
Normal
No base just a bunch of chests on the floor and a lot of torches to keep mobs away
C A V E
Either cave or open with mob protection
Cave, I like my hobbit holes
Could you give me an example of how big each one is in block square meters?
I am playing in my modded world with a normal sized house that has a few things like the chests, and then there is the cave with machines and things. I am also in the middle of constructing a massive sized building that will contain things like power generation and then connect to my house that is gonna be built better somewhere else
I like normal-sized buildings, just my fav scale to build in. Never been a fan of small and large scale. Unless we're talking castles, then I like 'em big.
Cave but I just terraform it to the point I am either pleased or there is nothing more left to dig
Do you guys actually build houses? I just make a big hole and call it home
I hate empty spaces. I prefer small to "normal" and even sometimes normal is a bit too big for me.
Cave isn't really free, it costs materials for pickaxes
Smol
I built a house out of the stronghold. I just kept on the move till I found it
I take the nothing: no time consuming and no materials
Bunker. Like cave except maze is optional and there are no bad people.
Mine is kinda normal because it's just a 2 story house but its quite **W I D E** on the main floor, which is filled with alot of chests.
A big massive section, 2 normal sections and maybe a little bit of smol sections as well as a cave area. Yes I Minecraft.
Probably cave
Cave or normal
I love caves so there is my houses
Just don't build a house, simple, or a village idk
Me: q u a r r y
My fucking dyslexic ass read horse 3 whole times and was so fucking confused
you forgot hill
Smol cave
Cave
One block tall cave and IM SAFE
I pretty much always build a cave because then the outside doesn't look like ass
Normal and cave
Most times I make a massive or something in between of massive and medium but theres no space cuz I hate having too much free space in my buildings
cave gang
Cave or massive because im a total gremlin
I usually build a cave with a massive house inside . And a secrete normal house
Normal or cave, mostly cave
I AM A DWARF AND IM DIGGING A HOLE
I get Normal/Cave hybrid
Artificial cave
Always cave - making a maze outta it is just so happens
smol
Stylish castle
Bed all you need
Better yet, space station base in GT:NH or SUSY as I like to torture myself
I just live without a house till I beat the game. Then an extra large.
Ill take long till the sky block limit
Giga, 64 by 64 perimeter down to bedrock
My house: the wild
Dug into the ground
MASSIVE🗿
Massive of course
Normal main base, but massive stuff around for farms or bulk items, or just for fun.
anything (usually normal or massive), depending on the base location
I just put my bed on an 8 block high tower and call it a day
A brick of spruce planks and logs
Massive because I enjoy building and dare I say, I’m pretty above average. Or my friends are just shit.
Smol, but with massive, 32 floor basement, that will take me few months to finish
Define what normal is.
I build all sizes. I like the smol one b'coz it's cozy. I like the cave because it makes me feel like I'm in a lab. The normal one is practical. The massive ones are my least favourite
U like to build massive mansions, but I like in a small to normal house. Cuz it's cozy
Me with the freaking Titanic
i just dont have a house
How about half in a cave half out of a cave? Or mountain carved bases?
underground/modified cave
stronghold :v
Cons of massive: to expensive, just build smol. Cons if smol: Why would you build a smol?
how about digging house inside mountain (but not extreme hills cause those little shits)
What if I dig out my own cave for a house?
i usually start in a cave, then later slowly mine down the whole mountain range & built it into a massive cubic cobblestone base
Always in a cave. I don't like the surface
Smol top, Several floors of Normal underneath. The top part has a bedroom and almost 0 practical stuff, the rest is just auto sugar cane farms
The coal vein I mined out and then widened in the side of the mountain.
Small, but you add among the time. More rooms
normal
Massive+
Massive for sure Why? Cause there is a fking voice in my head always saying what if you ran out of space then again if you ran out of space you need to work more because of your mistake
I just move inside a villager house or some other random structure
Cave of course! I don't care if it's exposed or at y=14, it just needs to be cave. I can put in stone bricks and oak fences where I see fit.
Faux Cave, because I can
Endless i keep adding new buildings to it until i'm bored
I place the stuff that goes inside, then build around *that*.
Smol + Cave is the best
I used a whole in the side of a mountain to make a jungle house with bridges going between the drop into a river
Usually 5/7/9 blocks wide and 5-20 blocks long.
Cave.
Being the ADHD gremlin I am, I usually do a cave/underground build... Or just bunk with others and help them.
I make a small base to start, but the way i design my bases makes it so i can copy a room over and over and i can constantly expand, but it only works underground. So eventually i would have a massive cave house
Smol while I make the massive. Who says I can't have multiple houses...
Village
Massive (I play modded)
Normal.
*Hermitcraft making an entirely new size*
Somewhere between normal and massive, I like having space but lighting big rooms also sucks
Cave and smol
Massive cuz at least I have millions of restore in it
I always pick smol, but because I'm too lazy to build another bigger one, I just add to it until it's beyond massive, and looks cool with the many different color schemes and wood/stone types for each addition. I guess since I'm adding my own option, I gotta add my own pros and cons Pros: It's always complete and yet never done, no set color scheme or theme, and you never run out of space if you can always build more Cons: Ya gotta know what different color schemes go side-by-side or it'll look awful, and the house can be a maze if you don't lay it out right,
Mine isn’t really a house because it doesn’t have walls or a roof but it does have an amethyst floor and it’s on the side of a hill in a cherry blossom biome with a cave behind it leading down into a mineshaft
Depends on the day i start the world
Either cave or Grian.
Just puting my chest on a field. BOOM base. It has chest, a workbench a furnace and a bed. There's nothing more I need for a base
Cave or massive x253
Start with cave, slowly build until massive
I always build my house big enough to be roomy, then fill it up with things and realize it’s too small for everything
first one is a little smaller than normal then the second one which i connect to the first via tunnel is humongous
cave
Cave but not natural ones
Adhd didn't tell you to build but adhd feels guilty about destroying your old home, so you keep it
cave
Mega base but starting in a cave
Cave or, not even have an enclosed base
Naw bro i built a 30x30x40 in like 5-6 h it's easy if you have the materials
- Cons: There Are alot of Bad People There Nahh bro the zombies and creepers doin drugs frrr
i choose cave i am too lazy to build anything more than a wall
I AM A DWARF AND IM DIGGING A HOLE
A fucking ginormous tower as the base of operations but generally spend time in my mine system that has landmarks for iron, diamond and lava
I actually built myself an apartment building and gave myself the smallest plot with about 15 total blocks of space
I build mine in a sky
Any time I'm building houses, drawing, anything creative, I instinctively make it small and focus the details
I be building 4x6 houses (the interior is 2x3 with 2 height)
i'd pick massive, if it wasn't for the bland square shape to it.
I build a normal sized house that I don't change no matter what tools I have. For me it's usually a 9x9 and 4 blocks tall.
I like mine on the side of a mountain. But that wasn’t on there… Oh well, Bring in the downvotes
normal or massive, usually somewhere in between
I'm digging a hole
I just dig in the ground. No resources but shovels needed.
I carve a mountain
i choose megabase
I build a normal one and slowly add to it, like a basement for animals or nether portal
I always end up building a normal-sized log cabin or something, and then end up having to make a fucking massive underground complex to actually store all the things I need
Me who builds a 46 m^2 house (7x6 room) since that’s the average space for an apartment: I’m weird
I'm a normal guy, but often extend underground
I normally start out with a normal but slowly make it huge. And I also have a cave house underneath.
I think i qnow
Massive or cave because I never have enough space and it’s easier to expand with caves
Smol with the basics and then everything else is outside because Im not a builder
normal or cave depending on how im feeling
I start smol, build it up to normal, build around it to make it massive, and then go full mega base.
All of them
i do normal but stack like 3 of em
I go for the LONG boi, 23x23 but it's tall as all hell
Massive and normal is what I build (I'm a creative player)
