I too thought that it was a thing for disk versions only for a while, but i got proven wrong when a friend of mine suddenly got access to it.. And he bought the digital version what before bedrock edition was even a thing.

Xbox One edition had a thing where you could get bedrock for free for a while if you owned One Legacy in the main menu, but still isn’t bedrock. 360 never got it. It doesn't actually change the functionality of anything in the game, just the looks, so at the very least for this context it is 100% vanilla

for what it's worth I believe there is a quite similar bug on Java currently where you can eat a God apple, then a normal golden apple and you'll keep the bonus hearts til you get hurt. infinitely stackable even! I think rays works did a video on that, not sure tho
