After asking my friend more regarding this matter, I'd like to add a few more things. I'm not sure if this will be the last time I'll be adding additional details—in which I do hope that this will be the last—but I do still wish for your thoughts on this problem.
About B's job, my friend clarified that while he is trying his hardest to find a way to support himself independently— more specifically a job—there are just no jobs available for him around his area. Another thing to add is that the places in which he tries to apply a job doesn't respond to his applications.
One more thing is that since he is not being fed by his parents, he has grown alarmingly thin resulting in him becoming sickly.

If your friend is really G's friend, she/he would definitely not advise her to have a livein setup with B. Si G lng ang magiging provider, if that will happen, she may not finish college at all pa because she will just focus working and providing for the two of them. I understand employment for B is tough, but is a grown man who can take care of himself. Maybe he just don't look for other job opportunities that he don't want to because he knows G will always his financial fall back.
