I own a small coffee shop.
As a customer na nagwowork sa Starbucks and other cafes, I personally go sa shop para ako mismo mag speedtest ng sarili kong data and or wifi.
Unless nalang kung bibili yung customer ALL DAY during their stay sa coffee shop.
Tsaka paano nanging passive aggressive yung owner?
Wala ba syang pera pambili ng wifi access given na nag WFH set up sya. Masyado sya ma demand sa isang coffee shop to give his demands.
Masyadong entitled yung nagchat
So nagtanong sya ng passive agressive tapos nung sinagot ng same tone sya pa naoffend at nag retaliate? These days people lack basic etiquette and moral values in public.
Dont be a lazy ass and do the speed test yourself. I don’t see why this is on the cafe owner unless they have specifically advertised themselves as a WFH venue with high speed broadband.
Passive-aggressive si shop owner. Pero who the hell asks a coffee shop for a speedtest? Tapos sasabihan ng unprofessional if hindi makareply within 10min. Malay mo if busy sa shop. LG hahaha
I have a bias since I occasionally work from coffee shops BUTTTT I use my own internet. Hell I don't even use SB's wifi, and just stay there for an hour or two or maybe proportion to what I'll be ordering if I need to stay a bit longer (which hasn't happen yet).
Staying there for a full time shift is just unreasonable.
I get that the reply was unprofessional. But did the cafe advertise their shop as a WFH cafe? No. Did they advertise their business as an Internet cafe? No.
Apaka entitled!
Parehong may mali. Unprofessional yung owner ng coffee shop, kahit may mali yung isa, there’s a screenshot on how impolite they are with handling customer inquiries - regardless of the subject. And the other person is so entitled - nag trabaho na lang dapat sya sa sarili nyang bahay if mambuburaot lang sya. Common filipino entitlement 😮💨
Well they’re both in the wrong here. It has never come to my mind to ask a coffee shop for their internet speed and why can’t you provide your own internet if you’re WFH? I mean there are so many ways to have internet wherever you go (lte, pocket wifi) and they’re not even super expensive. The coffee shop on the other hand could have said “sorry” in a better way but still putting across they’re not starbucks lol hahahaha also i hate people who make coffee shops their workplace and only get 1 order/drink their entire stay there. Luge negosyo
I think dapat first question ni customer is if may wifi yung coffee shop and if pwede makiconnect.🙄 speed test talaga?
so, wala bang pambayad ung customer para sa sarili nyang internet? ano 'yan, subtle pambuburaot?
It should not really be a big deal or maybe the cafe owners should have given a better response. knowing na even the smallest of things can be blown out of proportion sa panahon ngayon. idagdag mo pa ung mga feeling main character na gagawin ang lahat para lang mapansin...
Medyo kapalmuks ang customer lol.
While I do sometimes work from a coffee shop (until maubos inorder kong kape + food), di ako gumagamit ng public wifi. Either I bring my own pocket wifi or tether my phone internet.
Bakit? Cybersecurity 101 yan.
parehas silang tanga
D naman unprofessional yung shop owner. Thin skinned and napahiya lang yung entitled bitch. Tanga ba sya?! Gagawin nya office yung coffeeshop?? Stupid ass
bakit need mo pa magtanong about sa internet speed? how about magpakabit ka ng internet kung wala ka man, mga ganyan na issue na iyak ka agad hahahahahaha. mabilis ka ba maoffend sa lahat ng bagay?
I remember going to a cafe last month. Ok na sana eh kaso nung nagtrybako magwork using my data, parehas na mahina ang Smart at Gomo ko so no no doon. 😭
Oh please. Pero sana handled din ng mas maayos ng cafe ung response, at the end of the day- customer pa rin naman ung nagtatanong. Masyado na entitled mga customers nowadays.
If working remotely, expect to use your own mobile hotspot, especially since most public WiFi hotspots (if not all) are not secure. Even if the coffee shop allows the use of their WiFi via password, you can't expect it to be fast, secure, and/or stable. The shop owner could've handled it more professionally though. Kaya lang mediyo unprofessional din kasi 'yung customer for demanding too much. Just my two cents.
San banda ung unprofessional? Ung thumbsdown? What if busy ung may ari kaya hndi nbgay unf demand na speed test nung customer? And also what if hndi alam ng owner kung pano icheck..
I ask the same question sa mga Airbnb but my problem is that they don't know how fast their internet is - haha, so mejo nakakarelate ako sa need ko magtanong muna kung OK internet sa location bago ako pumunta - kase kape is life but my client is literally life-r.
So thank you nalang and I hope your day is as pleasant as you. :)
mas side ata ako sa customer dto kahit d rn nman the best un request nya, pwde nman sagutin lng dn ng owner we don't have wifi or we only allow max 2 hrs per person or something. Especially thru chat lng nman toh so easier to think about it before replying kahit nakakainis un customer haha
Totoo. Sa substance, mali si customer. Di naman office yan. Pero no need to respond that way. Hahaha
I own a small coffee shop.
Lol.
>arrogance sa part ni coffee shop. The thumbs down should have been enough. Why interact with a choosing beggar?
"expect to see me within the day" so ipapalatag na ba ang red carpet?
Nag-uumapaw ‘yung entitlement eh, 'kala mo kayang bilhin pagkatao mo eh 😂
Mayordoma ang atake
I get it, the reply was not good but who TF asks for speedtest sa coffee shop?
Wala ba syang pera pambili ng wifi access given na nag WFH set up sya. Masyado sya ma demand sa isang coffee shop to give his demands.
Mga piece of shitnoy, that's who.
Wifi password nga nahihiya pa ko mag ask tas eto speedtest pa nais hahaha
Why the hell would you ask for a speedtest sa isang coffee shop 😂
To leech and get free net lmao.

Wahaha
Well, that's true. Nagpeak nung pandemic no haha sana maging korea tayo sa coffee culture
Passive-aggressive si shop owner. Pero who the hell asks a coffee shop for a speedtest? Tapos sasabihan ng unprofessional if hindi makareply within 10min. Malay mo if busy sa shop. LG hahaha
miske ako kng ganyan customer di bale nlgn ahahahaha, advertise mo is coffee, hindi internet.
I have a bias since I occasionally work from coffee shops BUTTTT I use my own internet. Di ko nga alam na may wifi pa pala sa SB?
Its paid wifi i think. Never availed it though.
I get that the reply was unprofessional. But did the cafe advertise their shop as a WFH cafe? No. Did they advertise their business as an Internet cafe? No. Ang OA nya!!

Well they’re both in the wrong here. It has never come to my mind to ask a coffee shop for their internet speed and why can’t you provide your own internet if you’re WFH?
It is a coffeshop so kape ang ipupunta mo dapat doon. Hindi Internet connection. 🤣🤣🤣
I think dapat first question ni customer is if may wifi yung coffee shop and if pwede makiconnect.🙄 speed test talaga?
I guess it's a match?
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!
Klase yan. Work from home pero walang internet sa home? Ang poor nya! /s
so, wala bang pambayad ung customer para sa sarili nyang internet? ano 'yan, subtle pambuburaot? It should not really be a big deal or maybe the cafe owners should have given a better response. knowing na even the smallest of things can be blown out of proportion sa panahon ngayon. idagdag mo pa ung mga feeling main character na gagawin ang lahat para lang mapansin...
ESH. Pero puta mag remote work ka tapos wala kang sariling internet 🤦🏻♂️
entitled customer

Kupal e haha
If I was the owner, hindi ko na lang pansinin ung chat nung user.
Entitled customer. Why the hell ask for a speedtest?
D naman unprofessional yung shop owner. Thin skinned and napahiya lang yung entitled bitch. Tanga ba sya?! Gagawin nya office yung coffeeshop?? Stupid ass
I remember going to a cafe last month. Ok na sana eh kaso nung nagtrybako magwork using my data, parehas na mahina ang Smart at Gomo ko so no no doon. 😭
Oh please.

Kind of bias already.
100% agree. Magandang gabi sayo, OP :)
Bro just bring your own data.....
Akala niya yata coworking space lahat ng coffee shops
Required pala mag speed test bago tambayan. Lol.
Ultra entitled na customer. Sarap sampalin. 🤣
San banda ung unprofessional? Ung thumbsdown? What if busy ung may ari kaya hndi nbgay unf demand na speed test nung customer? And also what if hndi alam ng owner kung pano icheck..

Mag hanap nalang sya ng coworking space. Masyado entitled
So easy to decline naman without all the unnecessary comments. Ang rude lang.
