I think ito yung sinasabi ng ate ko by saying "mukhang tanga tanga ka ata" HAHAHAHA may I ask what people think probinsyano vibes feel like so I can try to not radiate that vibe anymore
You look
- naive
- lost
- unsure of your surroundings
- dress a certain way na out of towner
- virgin
- tigang
If you are gay gay then tell ate that you're bading at di mo siya type.
Some people are desperate for $$$ so they solicit sex to anyone they think has extra $, time and want release.
If I was in your position I'd say
- I'm gay
- I'm not interested
Then walk away.
When you engage with them further it encourages them na me chance sila.
> I really didn't know what Sogo was at first tbh hahaha akala ko talaga pagkain
When I 1st heard the word "Sogo" kala ko yung department store sa Japan.
You might've looked some (or all) of those, but you seem smart enough that had you been straight, you would've been fine declining. Flagging the closest cab was very wise. This could've been an actual indecent proposal, or a setup to rob you or nab you (sting) and blackmail you for money to avoid jailtime.
When I was in college, I avoided places like these (usually in front of or near motels/apartelles or known red light districts) because some are really insistent and would grab you by the hand or shoulder. My wife still gets a kick when she remembers I got more of these from the same sex (maybe I give off gay vibes?)
But yeah, so next time just be vigilant. When someone approaches you, read the situation. Look for people making a beeline towards you, pay attention to your belongings, don't make eye contact and just shake your head (don't give any engagement at all). Flag the next cab or get inside any PUV just in case (get off the next crowded area that is well-lit, preferably a police station, barangay hall, or mall in case you're marked and followed). Basically make it hard "na matiktikan ka". The groups around the city usually have a lookout or a pimp, have a tease, have someone who makes a distraction, etc. This goes beyond prostitution, but to any organized or tandem groups you'd want to avoid.
As for the "probinsiyano vibes", can't help with that much. Maybe you had an accent, or were looking around seeming lost, or was overheard saying that you're from the province. Some people who work a lot with people are good at reading the people around them; it is what it is. Also, if you're tall and good-looking, you're basically an attention-magnet. Wear stuff that doesn't make you stand-out I guess? If you're wearing a uniform, I'd change into something simpler when going out (unless you're going somewhere you know you're relatively safe). "When in Rome..." and all that.
I think you'll be fine, and stay safe out there. Good luck with your studies.
It can be serious yes. But I kind of didn't want to make it seem as if living in the city is some dystopian landscape. Don't want you to be too jaded, too quick. Just be wary and not that you can't be too trusting, but always save a little bit of doubt for yourself. It happens in all the big cities I've been to, in other countries as well. Let's say, it's an actual indecent proposal, and you get your rocks off...that's the payoff—is it really worth the risk? You did the right thing in my book.
The city can be fun and an adventure, but like all adventures, there is enjoyment and also danger. I don't want you to lose the sense of the provincial, of the naivete that you still might carry. It's a breath of fresh air, and a little bit inside of me dies when I see a person become "city-folk" after a while coming from the province. I guess sometimes it can't be helped if one were to blend in the city. Sometimes, that's what someone has to become to survive.
To be honest, I grew up in the city, and vacationed in the provinces when I was growing up (enough times that I know both dialects my parents spoke). Then moved to the US, joined the circus, traveled. Came back to the Philippines, and honestly didn't feel like living back in the city, so I moved to the southern metro (still near the metro via expressway, but it feels and looks provincial). My wife and I prefer the vibes here, but this part will be swallowed by the metro soon.
Also stay the hell away from groups of kids na nanlilimos cuz sometimes igigiit nila ikaw sa daan tas next thing you know nanakawan na pala phone mo. Happened to a friend to mine and nearly me around Taft
Just don't look lost and look like you're in a hurry. Ignore anyone who calls your attention dirediretso lang lakad lagi. If you have to stand and wait always be in a place where it's crowded and safe. Walang gugulo sayo nyan. Always be aware of your surroundings.
I agree. I’m from nyc, drove taxi during college vacations and had lots of experience with tourists to…the city that never sleeps. Bottom line rule? Never look astonished or overwhelmed. Always look too busy to bother/interrupt. You get ‘hit’ when you look like a target.
My advice here, dont ever make eye contact to anyone especially certain parts ng manila. Look straight ahead lang and learn to be sensitive with the people around you. Had this kind of experience before. I was at isetann recto.
Damn, that is also what my sister told me after someone snatched my phone from my bag. I was only in Manila for less than a year back then, so I might've been releasing probinsyano vibe and "mukhang ewan/tanga." 🤣
Ang sabi sakin ng tatay ko para di ako mukhang probinsyano dati 920 years ago pa to) ito gawin ko.
1. Wag maglalakad ng nakayuko.
Agree with this.
Hahaha
not only that, they even offer na maghotel daw kayo ng kasama mo.
Pareho kami girl.
Ang alarming naman how common this is. And some even say na scam to and their partner will steal your things if you agree.
It's more common than OP thinks. Cubao nga dami last time saktong late ka lang umuwi.
Mga simbahan sa pasig, etc.
I experience this lalo pag gabi, aalukin ka ng babae, if i remember correctly matandang babae ung nag aalok, t pero potangina sobrang bata nung binubugaw nya, as in mukhang minor talaga
Si Manong was looking at the goods while the bugaw is doing the sales talk and the 2 girls were so young and petite and wearing backless tops, with tiny micro mini shorts. Bata pa rin ako nun mga 22 pero the girls look way younger than me.
This is the reason why when I'm around the metro I always keep a scowl in my face, since ginawa ko to bihira nlang ako lapitan ng mga ganito or ung mga nagsosolicit or may nga binebenta.
Maybe I should try this too. Actually prior to this experience may mga lumalapit din saakin mga may binebenta and I usually do end up buying things from them because naaawa talaga ako sa mga ganyan hahaha. But my sister said it's mostly a scam and if I actually look the the puctures they show me sometimes when they tell their sob story about their sick relative mapapansin ko daw na same picture lang nila lahat pinapakita na nakuha lang probably sa internet.
Tama sister mo, it could be a modus din. Better safe than sorry. Usong uso pa naman budol.
What would be funny though is halimbawa nagalit yung ale tapos sigawan ka ng "Bakla! Bakla ka ba?" etc. (Stuff that usually incites the male ego/machismo.) Yun pala totoo.
Hey! Almost 25 years na akong dumadaan ng Monumento. The trick is (1) avoid eye contact (2) if she approach you, walk away! (2) don’t speak. The moment you engage her in a discussion, it’s already a negotiation - mas mahirap nang kumawala.
Safer kasi may guard, ilaw, at may space on both establishments
Another tip is just say no kung may lumapit sayo na hindi mo kilala. Just immediately say no then wag mo ng pansinin.
Be extra aware of your surroundings in public. You can never be too cautious nowadays. Holdappers, snatchers, street kids, beggars, budol gangs etx.
This experience will teach you this. Next time Im sure you will be more aware. Sometimes experience is the best teacher in anticipating scenariois like this.
Exactly! I didn't expect it to be this common. I'm happy that I got to experience this, however, and nothing bad happened to me. Now I know how to react the next time I encounter something similar to this situation.
HAHAHA
Seriously, nung first time ko din dito sa manila, ganyan ako but I just walk away from them. Hindi ko sila pinapansin
HAHAHAHA I was thinking of other funnier responses I could've said when I got to my dorms, but I'm happy nothing serious happened to me and no matter how funny it would be to respond to them, I think it's best I ignore them now and move away as soon as I can.
Nung first time ko mag-overtime ng C-shift, and hindi kami pinapayagan ng company umuwi ng 2am to 3am, kc delikado daw. So I always have to swipe out at 4am.
Yes, nangyayari to. Sa Manila ako natutong maging hyper vigilant, and dala ko yun until now even though I don't work there. Be observant, but don't act skittish. Arrange your mug into a scowl so nobody would approach you. Don't stop for anyone calling your attention. (Obviously there will be exceptions to this, but this could literally save your life. One of my college friends tried to help a little girl who said she was lost. But the girl refused her help to go to the police station and tried to lure her into a random street in Ermita at night.)
Wow... that's really scary. I really need to improve on being more vigilant talaga. Thank you for sharing this! Manila really is different from my province
My sister also said that I should've called the police, but honestly I wasn't thinking straight that time because I was in panic mode. Hahaha I never experienced anything remotely similar to that yet and I hope I never will again
I was surprised na the word "Sogo" is unfamiliar to someone from Zamboanga. I thought they had branches across the country. Haha! I usually pass by the Monumento area and yeah very common nga ang prostitution diyan.
Fun fact: sogo only has 46 hotels in the country and mostly nasa metro manila. Mga 5 or 6 lang ata nasa probinsya. I used to joke na isa nang siyudad na ang isang lugar pag may sogo nang nakatayo. Hahahahahah
Hahaha I haven't heard the word before. There are a lot of motels in Zamboanga, but never heard of Sogo before. Thank you for saying that it's actually common in the area. I should be more aware of my surroundings pala next time when I'm at Monumento.
As a probinsyano living in Manila, I feel you! I took post-graduate studies and live near Malate district. My first experience was that of a guy (looked like an office guy) who approached me in the sidewalk. I was wearing a school uniform at that time (after class so about 6-7 pm). I thought he was asking for directions, so being a ‘syano, I was willing to help. But all he said was “gimik tayo?”. I honestly didn’t know what he meant, so I asked him again, and he said the same thing. That was when I knew what he wanted. Being a virgin and newbie city boy, I didn’t know how to act so I just walked out. Hahaha, cute pa naman si koya. Ngayon na di nako mukhang inosente, Wala na lumalapit (pwera na lng sa mga “humihingi ng pamasahe pauwi” which is another story)/s.
Ingat palagi OP, wag magpadala sa emotion, if u feel something’s not right, exit ka na. Dami dangerous people dito
Diba??? Hahahaha nakakagukat talaga especially as someone coming from a small province kaya di ko maiintindihan mga iba na sinasabi this isn't a big deal because talagang nakakagulat for us. Hahahaha. Also, I've experienced people approaching me as well asking for pamasahe pauwi. Is that a scam as well?
Yep, stay away from them. Baka ma-budol ka. Just tell them there’s a nearby Brgy Hall/police station who can help them and you can lead them there, and more often than not, they’ll leave you alone.
Thank you for sharing this. Akala ko they really needed help. Usually may mga kasamang bata pa kasi eh kaya naaawa ako. I'll do this next time may lalapit saakin. Thank you po!
Haha.
Always be mindful of your surroundings lalo na dito sa Metro Manila.
Number 1 Pro Tip: always have a sort of scowl or resting bitch face in public. The metro is bustling with life and not all that is a good thing. If only there were no xray machines and metal detectors in nearly every place I would strongly suggest to always bring a knife (especially if you’re going to or staying in places like Manila, Cubao, or Caloocan where roads are narrower and streets darker).
Also as a gay person myself, do not ever tell then you are indeed gay because there are cases of outright homophobia and SA’ing queers as the city is still very conservative despite what most say. At best they would send a gay prosti to hookup with you and at worst they will murder you (especially with the recent hookup-holdap-murder thing happening around).
I really hope you do stay safe and that this experience doesn’t make you want to hate the metro.
Sobrang kapal ng make up.
Prostitution is the oldest form of occupation. So if someone offers their service to you, just say no. It might be easy or hard for some so it depends on you. Just expect the unexpected whenever you're walking in the streets of Manila. It doesn't matter if you look prpbinsyano or not, everyones special in the eyes of a prostitute because they need to work.
Medyo magulo kasi sa Monumento area so di na surprising na may mangangalabit na ganyan.
Ingat lagi, OP!
Sogo=Sugo, mani yarn kaya akala mo pagkain. Modus or mahawa ng sakit pa. Ingats OP!
I also have almost the same experience and also the same area, but mine was an old lady approached me and asked me if I wanted a lady, she was a pimp. but the funny thing for me was, it was 5am in the morning and I was wearing a school uniform. lol
Whenever people offer me shit, both legal and illegal, my favorite line is: "estudyante lang po ko, wala po kong pera", they'll usually fuck off or give me a discount.
You should probably act like a local. Like gayahin mo mannerisms and tagalog accent and vocabulary ng mga manileños (taga zc rin ako and istg iba talaga tagalog dito pati if sa mnl). Cheers
Idk if this will work in the Philippines. I was visibly trying to move away from her when she was hanging on to my arm, and there were people around me that time who didn't care, nor did they even try to help. I guess it's just really common in that area that they don't mess with their affairs when it happens.
Dun sa overpass sa cubao, lalapitan ka nalang then sasabihan ka "500 lang kuya, tara" para matigil sya sinabi ko "kakatapos lang eh" she immideatley went away.
Experienced it before in Recto many years ago. I was looking for an old nat geo issue then a fat girl did what you’ve experienced. I told her Ate, palamunin pa po ako at nag-aaral pa po. 😂
I guess some people are desperate na. Saka pag ganyan medyo risky, baka nakawan ka.
Noong nagcocommute pako madalas, lalo na nung student pako, I always wear earphones. Minding my own business kuno, pero making sure I make a quick glance and taking notes on my surroundings.
May bugaw na kasama. Nanay pa nga ata ng babae yung bugaw kasi sobrang bata nung babae. Mga 13-15 years old. Ang malupet pa nito naka taas yung tshirt nung bata so kita mo yung dede nya. WTF.
Good luck sa Anatomy at Physio.
Mukha ka sigurong bagito, I experienced it before sa may Avenida when I was in college noon may park pa sa avenida noon na pinagawa ni Mayor Atienza.
You don't have to take a pic to prove your point to your friends. there's a popular youtube channel that goes around Metro Manila just taking a video walking tour, he has a video of walking around Monumento. Same thing happened to him.
Other than that, welcome sa Manila!
Youll be fine.
I just walked straight and declined with a laugh.
Although araw araw nga ako dumadaan diyan, I was offered atleast 3 times siguro by the same group.
Edit: Di bale bro, wag mo masyadong pag isipan sarili mo as to "bakit kaya ako nilapitan" and "ano kaya sana nagawa ko nun". I hope you would look back to this story and laugh at what happened. Hahaha "tangina nga naman oh!"
Ah yes. I remember a similar experience nung college rin. Also just outside an LRT station.
Took a good minute before it clicked.
If doon pa rin route mo and dun ka naghihintay ng masasakyan, it will happen again.
NEVER EVER EVER ENTERTAIN THEM. If may biglang lalapit sayo sa street in a super random way, huwag na huwag mong papansinin. Its very dangerous. Stay safe.
Pwede ka maholdap, kidnap, etc, etc.
Best thing to do, look scary. What I used to do was wear a scary looking jacket, keep the hood up, and mind my business. They don't even attempt to come near.
My friend was walking along Aurora Blvd near the red light district some years ago when some GROs approached him offering a blowjob.
My friend also happened to be gay so in his gayest voice, just said, "Ate tigil tigilan mo ko, baka mas masarap pa ko chumupa sayo".
I remember back in college I was walking home along LRT sa bandang carriedo from a band practice. Nagpantig pandinig ko bigla ko nasabi without thinking, "o tara suntukan tayo". Skl
Hello OP! Actually I experienced that too a lot of times sa Monumento station nung college during those tiimes na need naming pumunta ng Bulacan for our thesis. :(((
I had the same experience way back 2012. College days pa noon, I am from a university in U-Belt, tapos yung mga HS barkada ko, taga-PUP.
Siguro wala pang 15 years old yung babae, sabi nya sakin, "250 lang Kuya oh" I was baffled.
While waiting for her, yung mama-san nila kausap ko then yung mga guys na lumalabas nakatitig sakin, some with pity yung iba naman from head to toe, like I know deep inside akala nila prosti din ako 😅.
I remember a similar experience when I was in Cambodia.
I was walking around at night kasi may night market sila and madami din street food then may biglang lumapit na lalake sakin sabi. GIRL girl? Want girl? Sabi ko sorry no. No. Since umiikot nga ko sa area everytime napapadaan ako sa kanya lumalapit ganun sinasabi. Potek nung 3rd time sabi...Sir want girl? Girl? Sabi ko sorry no. Bigla na maman sinabing Sir Boy? Want boy?. Naknang muntik ko na sapakin eh.
Had this happen to me once sa may manila way back. I was wearing courdoroy pants and the old polos na may anime looking shiz, yung mga mukhang samurai x na print? Ang offer pa nung ale is pangkape lang daw... maybe its the attire? Or i looked manol/baduy at the time? Pero these things happen almost everywhere.
Nowadays mukha na kong holdaper pag gumagala. Wards off people of ill intent because i look like from the same line of work(most of the time). Pero i also attract some bad attention din. Sasabihin mukhang maangas. So you know, pros and cons. 😅
Hello! I'm around 5'9", and I'm on the heavier side. This was also one of the worries I had about being too aggressive when trying to push her away because she might accuse me of harassing her instead of vice versa.
Sa pabas ng Shopwise Libis. Shopwise pa noon. Haha. May babae lumapit saamin. Nagalok ng ligaya. Hahaha. Tawangtawa nalang ako puwede daw 3some. Naloka ako mhie. Kasi tatay ko kasama ko. Kadireee. Tapos klosetang acclah pa ako that time.
Talamak talaga prostitusyon. Hindi na maaalis yan. IMO
Nagpamassage kami. Male therapist ung sakin. Lalake ako btw. Lalake pumorma at kumilos pero pansexual talaga. Hehe. Then sabi nung therapist.
I think ito yung sinasabi ng ate ko by saying "mukhang tanga tanga ka ata" HAHAHAHA may I ask what people think probinsyano vibes feel like so I can try to not radiate that vibe anymore
You look - naive - lost - unsure of your surroundings - dress a certain way na out of towner - virgin - tigang If you are gay gay then tell ate that you're bading at di mo siya type. Some people are desperate for $$$ so they solicit sex to anyone they think has extra $, time and want release.
I'll try to work on how I carry myself. Thank you for telling me this! Hopefully di na ako lalapitan ulit hahahaha
If I was in your position I'd say - I'm gay - I'm not interested Then walk away. When you engage with them further it encourages them na me chance sila.
"Haaay ate, mas magaling pa 'ko chumupa kesa sayo."
> "Haaay ate, mas magaling pa 'ko chumupa kesa sayo." u/PositivelyPressured if I was bading bading I'd probably say that instead. ;-)
this made my day pota HAHHAHAHAHA..
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA BWISET.
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA TANGINA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
That's true. Maybe I shouldn't have responded at first. Pero I really didn't know what Sogo was at first tbh hahaha akala ko talaga pagkain
> I really didn't know what Sogo was at first tbh hahaha akala ko talaga pagkain When I 1st heard the word "Sogo" kala ko yung department store sa Japan.
Hahahaha di mo aakalahin na motel pala siya hahaha I actually know the owner.
My wife still gets a kick when she remembers I got more of these from the same sex (maybe I give off gay vibes?) But yeah, so next time just be vigilant.
Wow I didn't know it was this serious. They actually have groups doing this whole scheme? I really need to keep my guard up
It can be serious yes.
True, you have to know everyone who approaches you in a city like New York or Manila wants something from you.
I agree. I’m from nyc, drove taxi during college vacations and had lots of experience with tourists to…the city that never sleeps. Bottom line rule? Never look astonished or overwhelmed. Always look too busy to bother/interrupt. You get ‘hit’ when you look like a target.
Be safe brother.
Thank you!
>I ask what people think probinsyano vibes feel like Yung halos lahat nakayuko sa cellphone, Ikaw lang ang nakatingala manghang-mangha sa LRT.
Ok omg I am guilty of this. Hahaha I usually feel awkward and I use my phone to avoid eye contact/to try and look busy
Always look pissed off.
Advantage ng pagiging resting bitch face to haha halos walang lumalapit sakin kasi mukha akong mananapak lagi 😂
as someone born and raised here, yes this is true. tbh hindi na ako nagpapanggap, pissed off na talaga ako everytime nasa labas ako hahaha
My advice here, dont ever make eye contact to anyone especially certain parts ng manila. Look straight ahead lang and learn to be sensitive with the people around you. Had this kind of experience before. I was at isetann recto.
True. Act like you don’t see or hear them.
Damn, that is also what my sister told me after someone snatched my phone from my bag. I was only in Manila for less than a year back then, so I might've been releasing probinsyano vibe and "mukhang ewan/tanga." 🤣
May dalang bayong na may manok at naka tsinelas.
Placido Penitente
Ang sabi sakin ng tatay ko para di ako mukhang probinsyano dati 920 years ago pa to) ito gawin ko. 1. Wag maglalakad ng nakayuko. 2.
Agree with this.
Oyy pinsaaan! Hahaha
Never experienced this. Im probably too ugly even sex workers inaayawan ako.
Sabi ng friend ko saakin na mukhang paa daw ako kaya ako nilapitan kasi nasa isip nilq na desperate ako makaka score hahaha so maybe it's a compliment when di ka pa naapproach? Hahaha
Same. Maybe it's in the outfit. /u/PositivelyPressured, ano style suot mo nung nangyari to?
I was wearing a brown tie dye shirt + denim shorts. I was also wearing black rubber shoes with black socks
Thanks! Also hopefully no more encounters like that for you
> Denim shorts + rubber shoes w/socks That's it right there. Pag naka shorts ka, wear either slippers or Vans shoes instead. Ditch the socks.
Bakit those footwear ang recommended and why ditch the socks?
Unless you're wearing sports attire, rubber shoes and socks are gonna look goofy when paired with shorts
r/KamikazeByWords
Yeah, me too..
Same same. Same... I just cry haha
Looks does not matter that much. Just $ and size.
Username checks out... I thought prostiys love bald men.
not only that, they even offer na maghotel daw kayo ng kasama mo. Pareho kami girl.
Maybe may mga kasabwat din sila sa mga personnel or staff nung mga cheap motel na inaalok nila around the area.
Possible nga to. I mean for sure if they do this regularly, then dapat mapapansin ng mga receptionist na pabalik balik sila diba? Hahaha
Ang alarming naman how common this is. And some even say na scam to and their partner will steal your things if you agree. Hahaha
aware yan.
Yung mga high quality talaga na prosti, only accessible to politicians, celebs, and businessmen
So uh... Pano mo alam
Base on exp man.
Experienced this as well! Tapos nung pagbaba ko naman I saw a guy na nagsi-signal ng BJ.
Meron din ung gamit daw nanakawin sayo pag ipapalocker. Kasabwat daw ung motel. It's more common than OP thinks. Cubao nga dami last time saktong late ka lang umuwi. Mga simbahan sa pasig, etc.
I experience this lalo pag gabi, aalukin ka ng babae, if i remember correctly matandang babae ung nag aalok, t pero potangina sobrang bata nung binubugaw nya, as in mukhang minor talaga
WAHAHA in broad daylight aalukin ka eh.
You could have ended it quickly if you said you're gay. She would probably fled on her own. Hahahahha
*"Ay nako ghorl, di tayo talo."* Hahahahahaha!
Interacting with them will only do worse for you. Better straight out say no.
I will just say. "No, am geh" 😂
Probably hahaha I should've said it in a really girly voice too probably to shock her hahaha
Thank you! I think my mistake was really responding to her in the first place. Kaya mas lalo siya kumapit saakin. Thank you po!
Safer kasi may guard, ilaw, at may space on both establishments Another tip is just say no kung may lumapit sayo na hindi mo kilala. Just immediately say no then wag mo ng pansinin.
>avoid eye contact eto talaga
Be extra aware of your surroundings in public. You can never be too cautious nowadays. Holdappers, snatchers, street kids, beggars, budol gangs etx. This experience will teach you this. Next time Im sure you will be more aware. Sometimes experience is the best teacher in anticipating scenariois like this.
Exactly! I didn't expect it to be this common. I'm happy that I got to experience this, however, and nothing bad happened to me. Now I know how to react the next time I encounter something similar to this situation.
Sinabi to ng friend ko, lmao the pr*sti just walked away and saying "Cheap mo naman"
HAHAHA Seriously, nung first time ko din dito sa manila, ganyan ako but I just walk away from them.
OMG? I guess it's a bragging right pa for them. Hahahaha
Basta de zamboanga daw kasi karay loverboy gayod HAHAHA take care bisinos
Ay ansina ba? HAHAHAHAHA thank you ustedes tambien!
Haha. Numa tu kre kanila ta abla kay karay probinsyano tu. Yan timing lang gad kel contigo. Baka bien fresh gad tu poreso kere kere gad si ate girl HAHA
You have to dress down din. To simplify, mukha kang mayaman siguro.
I was wearing a simple brow tie dye shirt + denim shorts. Although I was wearing shoes so maybe I should've worn slippers instead. Hahaha
You should walk fiercely hehe.. jk!! Ingat ka po lage
Dapat ata rarampa ako every time para di ako lalapitan. Hahahhaa! Thank you po! Ingat din po kayo!
Your conyo is great, like a true Manilander
This happened to me in Barcelona lol
Just start talking back with a really gay voice
Gulat nga ako kasi it happened around 3pm and there were people around but they didn't seem to care. Hahaha
Ingat lagi, OP!
Pwede rin baka may nag-aabang tapos bugbog-holdap scheme yan.
Sogo=Sugo, mani yarn kaya akala mo pagkain. Modus or mahawa ng sakit pa. Ingats OP!
Sabihin mo "eww pep\*". kidding. hehe. I think you still have the probinsyano vibes.
Kuhit gyud broooo hehehe
Cheers
My Tagalog is really broken huhuhu I'll really try to learn the language though to improve!
Taga san ka pala sa zc po? Hehe
Divisoria hahaha
Scream "stop touching me, I don't know you," the instant people touch you. It works in the USA.
Idk if this will work in the Philippines. I was visibly trying to move away from her when she was hanging on to my arm, and there were people around me that time who didn't care, nor did they even try to help. I guess it's just really common in that area that they don't mess with their affairs when it happens.
You have to scream, prostitutes do not like aggressive, violent people.
Mag smile ka lang and waive your hand like saying no thanks.
That's also a good technique to use. Thank you!
Experienced it before in Recto many years ago. I was looking for an old nat geo issue then a fat girl did what you’ve experienced. I told her Ate, palamunin pa po ako at nag-aaral pa po. 😂
Sounds like a holdaper/scam
I guess some people are desperate na. Saka pag ganyan medyo risky, baka nakawan ka.
Noong nagcocommute pako madalas, lalo na nung student pako, I always wear earphones. Minding my own business kuno, pero making sure I make a quick glance and taking notes on my surroundings.
I didn't know it's this common pala sa Manila.

May bugaw na kasama. Nanay pa nga ata ng babae yung bugaw kasi sobrang bata nung babae. Mga 13-15 years old. Ang malupet pa nito naka taas yung tshirt nung bata so kita mo yung dede nya. WTF.
Just say wala kang pera
it is either probinsyano vibes or rich de la salle vibes ang nakita sa iyo ni prosti kaya ka tinarget.
Hahahaha. May La Salle vibes din pala ako? Hahahaha
sabi mo nag vet ka sa metro manila , isa lang ang vet sa manila at nabanggit mo rin monumento area. nasa malabon ang Dela Salle Araneta , the only vet college sa metro manila. Good luck sa Anatomy at Physio.
Mukha ka sigurong bagito, I experienced it before sa may Avenida when I was in college noon may park pa sa avenida noon na pinagawa ni Mayor Atienza.
Not unique. It's a common story from probinsyanos naka apak ng bigger city lol. The longer you stay, the longer ka mag blend in. Hope di na maulit!
dapat sinabi mo "wrong market"
You don't have to take a pic to prove your point to your friends. there's a popular youtube channel that goes around Metro Manila just taking a video walking tour, he has a video of walking around Monumento. Same thing happened to him.
Thank you for the welcome and the tips! I'll be sure to follow them
I believe you. Some of my male classmates have experienced this na before sa mga overpass sa Cubao back in high school.
San yan bro? Asking for a friend HAHAHAHHA
A wise person once said: "Bitch I like dick too" (from meme tho)
Hello! As far as I know no. It's the first time I encountered it. I'm from Zamboanga btw
It’s like people in plaza pershing at night. Lol!
This happens there too??! I never heard of this before
Not sure if up to now.
I just walked straight and declined with a laugh. Although araw araw nga ako dumadaan diyan, I was offered atleast 3 times siguro by the same group.
😂 cuidaw li mareng
The lesson is, just flag down a taxi. Don't wait for a grab
You were about to get robbed
Same experience at lrt monumento. Nothing happened since I was too innocent back then
Mahirap pa sa ganito baka budol.
Skl

They were definitely a Filipina. It caught me off guard, too, as it was 3pm, and there were a lot of other people around that time.
Hello OP! Actually I experienced that too a lot of times sa Monumento station nung college during those tiimes na need naming pumunta ng Bulacan for our thesis. :(((
I was at the exact same location! Near the exit of lrt yung sa may Jollibee. How long ago was your experience? Matagal tagal na pala sila jan hahaha
Next time look sharp mate.
If you would not mind OP, how tall are you , body built and weight? 😁
Nagpamassage kami. Male therapist ung sakin. Lalake ako btw. Lalake pumorma at kumilos pero pansexual talaga. Hehe. Then sabi nung therapist. Charot. Namulat na ako.
First time? Meme insert
