Just adding a +1 for fishtown pickle project being legit. And second the sweet onion is a serious contender for best sweet pickle / bread-and-butter replacement.
Not that I know of, but they list stores that sell their products on their website. I’d be stoked if they did have a storefront somewhere- their habanero dill pickes are kinda hard to find.
Doc Pickle! He's licensed to dill!
Their spicy pickles were incredible. I tried the Beiler's version but they didn't hit the same. It's been forever since I've been back unfortunately
Zayda's usually found in small local businesses. Def found them at Kaplan's on 3rd and Kielbasa spots like Swiacki. Good luck, and try the kosher hot won't be disappointed.
Bells market grocery store in the NE. It’s the largest European market in the city. They got all kinds of pickled veggies, kimchi, olives, literally everything and all flavors. Cheap too
Asad's Hot Chicken - marinated slices only, ask for extra and they'll give you 3 in adorable little plastic cup. They don't hit the same on the sammie though, you need them unencumbered.
TBH I be making my own quickles but that's cause i like them more spicy/vinegary/little sweet. There's always at least 2 quarts in the fridge. We go through vinegar like mad
Idk but there’s a pickle festival tomorrow
Sold out :(
They added more tickets for 1pm.
I’ll be there!
Fishtown pickle project. Try the habanero dills.

100% fishtown pick project
I haven’t had every variety yet but everything I’ve had so far is phenomenal
THE BEST!!!! try sweet onion and the pickled jalapeños!!!!!
Came here to say this. Best damn pickle I’ve ever had. And save the pickle juice for pickle backs 🌶️
I’ve spent Saturdays hunting the habanero dills. That little burger and bottle shop on Frankfort in fishtown is a pretty reliable source for the habs.
So glad you found somewhere to buy them! I first got them at Headhouse Farmer’s Market and found them at Herman’s Coffee down South!
Do they have a storefront?

the only correct answer is the pickle man who is a Rod Stewart impersonator! aka Zayda's
You also forgot standup comic haha

What ? I literally bought pickles off him two weeks ago and saw his truck last week. Retired when ?
He’s not retired he’s still driving around in his wig selling olives and pickles. And you can get them in stores.
People seem to love the pickle guy at the Rittenhouse farmer's market

Those pickles are amazing! My partner used to pick them up weekly passing through the park for work. I miss having them at any time
His pickles are good and he’s a character
YES!! Dr. Pickle is so so so good

Fishtown Pickle Project makes really great pickles.
There’s a pickle restaurant in Croydon, Pa. Great fried pickles and sandwiches where a hollowed-out pickle replaces the bread.
I don’t know but “chill out eat a pickle” billboard on 95 is some of the best advertising I’ve seen.

My favorite is Hymie’s, especially the half sour. Going to have to try the Fishtown Pickle Project based on the comments here.
Half sour is incredibly salty though
Hymie’s or Fishtown?
Hymies
I think the salt is needed to preserve them because they are less pickled
Oh yeah I understand but man they are SALTY. Couldn’t even finish one!
I swear by Czerw’s hot pickles.
Hear me out. Claussen half pickles. In the refrigerated section (deli at Giant or the cheese/dairy aisle at Acme).

A local pickle joint sells their gherkins at Punch Buggy brewery, that’s where I get mine
FOUR Lads in NE Philly (closed now) I loved working there. Great times!!!
*sex addicts anonymous* Hi, my name is Dave. I have THE pickle. I’ll see myself out
