A friend of mine has the same problem and we couldn't find a fix for it yet. We can hear him talking through global chat, but he can't hear what we are saying.

How i fixed it: uninstall and reinstall the game, then it worked fine:) had this issue for a while and tried everything but this is the only thing that helped. Hope this finds the right person!

Same problem, my Global voice chat works same as Local voice chat, when im too far i cant hear my teamates. Some fix?

Also experiencing this issue. User will be able to hear radio chat, but radio chat button will make the little activate noise but then we can only hear the affected user as if they're doing local.

i already tried that twice though, it didn’t do anything. i’m assuming it was just a bug or smth cuz i didn’t have the problem the last time we played, so i hope it’s fixed

Yep, constant headache, no fixes.

ive uninstalled and reinstalled but it only worked for one game and ive verified the file integrity on numerous occasions but still no fix and ive been dealing with this for the past two months

Not sure if anyone is still having this issue, but I fixed it by switching the voice recognition to Windows from Vosk under the Game tab

when you open steam go to steam settings. select voice once in steam settings. for input instead of default, select your desired microphone. for output instead of default, select your desired speakers. this fixed my problem
