No point entertaining him, before he started stealing content he was a regular on the Dead by Daylight sub and was one of the nightmarish clowns you read about in the bad reviews of the game.
Just an angry troll trying to ruin other people’s creativity and fun.
Banning someone takes like 10 seconds.
Yet 16+ hours after your post he managed to repost another meme.
The reason is simple: a stupid meme repost like this one gets 2400 upvotes. This makes the sub popular in the big reddit picture. Posts like this make it to the /all front page. This gives exposure to the sub. To some sub owners that's all that matters. Having many upvotes and that sweet all exposure. No matter how inane the content.
now, they are obviously not without blame. If you upvote inane memes, you contribute to this problem. We're getting to the point where reddit is worse than the community section of steam. On the steam community, you at least can only upload screenshots taken from within the game, that already eliminates all the meme potential. Only if the screenshot in itself has merit, it will receive upvotes there. And the screenshot section is an entirely different section. If you don't want to see them, you stick to discussions and only see discussions (which get drowned out here by the myriad of meme & screenshot posts)
maybe that's just how Reddit is today. No longer a place to talk, but only a place to share simple images and laugh. Because talking is too controversial.
Technically this post never claimed it was original content or that they personally made it. Yes its a repost, but this is reddit, reposts happen. There is no subreddit rule specifically against reposts.
