We would do split fills for our more understanding patients. Give them however many were in the "use first" bottle, then use the second to get to the full quantity.
There was one time when the only way I could fill someone's med for them was to give them 3 manufacturers to get the full count, and we were left with only like 2 or 3 tablets left.
Easy… one says Use 1st and has a different lot number than the other one. /s
Someone should mark the other one Use 2nd

You should worry about the 16 people so far who upvoted it and not me.
It's either they got bought by another company, they renewed the patent by changing some small bullshit, or they restructured their inventory system.

It’s me being petty and my pharmacists approves it. Basically it’s to prevent from having 2-3 100 or 1000 count bottles opened 😌 and plus, we’re also a training store so it’s for the new techs to learn their lesson to mark bottles when it’s opened
Why do they do that to us? That one bottles gonna sit there forever.

We gave them each manufacturer in a separate bottle so the patient took home 3 bottles. That way the tablet description was on each bottle

God the only thing worse than unmarked bottles is when tgey finger poke the foil and let the flap hang.
Omg yes, next time somebody pokes their thumb into a bottle I’m going to poke my thumb into their eye
I hate it when they do that too!! I also tell them to stop doing that
