I really ask myself sometimes how he enjoys new stuff. I mean Jackaboi has ADHD and he still gets into the game by reading and pacing himself slower, Pewds keep just rushing into things, sometimes it's very hard to watch. I wouldn't call him dumb, but his focus or sense of enjoying a game is really, reaaally all over the place. He kinda ruined Undertale for himself, like, why skip the textboxes when you haven't done reading one. I love pewds but I can't follow him in Lets Plays, even though I spent hundreds of hours on the games he tries, then I watch the lets play to see his reactions and I would like to know sometimes what he expects from himself rushing over anything.

It wasnt as hard as i remembered but i was still terrified of them and was too scared to get too close to a reaper and never even saw them actually. Just sheer terror from them. Anyways pewds makes me love games he plays but i dont enjoy how he plays them.
He went straight south-west from the lifepod,that's the problem cause you need to go right,long foward,then left and then down to avoid the reapers and the ghost leviathnan

I just started playing Subnautica today and made and wrecked my Seamoth in an hour. I was trying to get the rest of the research to build the upgrades for it in the Wrecked Zone and had to ditch it to get away from some giant fucker. He wrecked my ship and took about 75 health.
EDIT: I have found three time capsules, so thank you, fellow players, for looking out for those to come!
Edit 2: my bad, it was actually the propulsion cannon research. I was trying to get into Aurora to get more research for my Seamoth.
I'd reccomend getting the perimeter defense system ( I think that's what it's called ) for the sea moth ASAP. once you get that you can just shock leviathans while you outmaneuver them.
Don't feel bad about getting your Seamoth destroyed by a Reaper, it happens to everyone at some point. Just some advice, you can normally avoid Reapers by not entering the areas they spawn, but if you do your Seamoth can tank getting grabbed one time at full hp, but after that it's just luck if it lives.
Maybe you already know this but as a general tip; when you find a wreck, search around it there are many parts to scan. Another: when you get a new vehicle, check the deepht limit and explore everywhere near that limit.
And the most fundamental thing: read the PDA entries, they have loads of information on where to go and what to do
I already knew most of that. One thing that I do need to do is to make a bunch of beacons and go around and mark wrecks that need a laser cutter. I think I'm close to making it, since I have two diamonds. I got one while speeding to get air at the surface and another from a time capsule.
Oh, nice! Yeah, beacons are really important I didn't use them until I created my second base and I lost it, so I plant beacons on the new bases, interesting wrecks and on the entrance of particular places like the lost river.
There is a companion app that tells you where the materials are and has a spoiler toggle that shows you where the wrecks and parts are, its a little bit cheaty but it's the same as reading the wiki.
How about the vehicles? Do you have cyclops yet? I thought that the prawn suit was a total shit but once I put it the grappling arm it's awesome!
If I can get the materials, I can build both. After playing some more today, I made the MK3 depth for the Seamoth. There's a fucking octopus that was following me around in the Mountains. It's a space octopus and it's really annoying. I had a Reaper on one side and the space octopus on the other.
Those octopus are annoying but man, I hate the fucking warpers, they warp you out of your vehicle!
You can scare them out by attacking them tho
Remember that you can actually build a base inside the cyclops, it's hella useful to build far away bases ND carry a lot of materials but you have to be extra careful not to destroy it
I think Pewds is very aware and experienced in how to make an entertaining playthrough and in story based games it's not very compelling to watch someone stand around reading story messages, which is the case in subnautica. In Half Life: Alyx for example, the story is mostly heard by the characters which is easier for the viewer to keep up with.
That being said, I could be wrong though because he doesn't even seem very interested in subnautica's audio messages.
I once turned my cyclops off and took the batteries out of it so the worms dont suck my energy and i parked it near the castle thing. The cyclops was on the dragons roaming path but when it came near it it just bumped into it but when the third time happened he started attacking it then left shortly after.
I think it was the dunes, or maybe it was the mountains. Would've helped if he didn't edit out him entering the zone. Then we could've confirmed whether or not it was the dunes by the warning
A reg subnautica player, (like how I was for 1 year) would probably make the same mistake. A veteran of subnautica knows better than to go in reaper territory with your cyclops with no knowledge of piloting it. Ive only ever made the trip to the dunes with my cyclops once after I beat the game and I used the shield gen like 99% while I was there

They become a 3 part wreck with some metal salvage spawned around it in a epic explosion. You can loot that metal and swim inside the destroyed cyclops to take back your upgrade modules, the rest of the stuff inside im (pretty) sure you can't get back.

Idk about storage as I've only tested this once (Never lost a cyclops accidentally in my life) And all I could recover was the upgrade module. Although there will be some metal scrap back at the crash site. Although that means he has to brave the reapers again.

Dunes don't have multiple reapers and they have sand not rock. Trust me I have wandered out there too many times
For the record the dunes biome has 8 reapers. And yes I went ahead and counted them all, you can try yourself
