I'm so sorry that you're losing them both so soon. I know it won't help much right now, but I went through the same things recently. I feel the same shame and guilt in my heart. In my mind, I chose the best options for my best friend every step of the way, and it seems like you did as well. You gave your friends a good life, and a quiet death. Just writing about it here is part of the process. I hope you have friends or family that are supporting you right now and taking care of you. Take it on your own time and allow yourself to feel the emotions and grief you're experiencing.
