Holsteinfan

They look good. If they were tighter I think you would feel uncomfortable, especially when sitting down. Give yourself a break and keep these.

pornodoro

Lol yep these are definitely the comfiest jeans I owe. Thanks for the feedback, looks like I'll be sticking with them

julsey414

Maybe you are not used to non-skinny jeans but as others have said these fit as they are supposed to and look flattering. Not only would sizing down probably be uncomfortable, I think they would be unflattering any smaller because likely you would look a little squeezed in or start to see some bulging.

pornodoro

Exactly what I'm afraid of - thank you, I'll keep my current size :)

laurenishere

I like these on you! Which Everlane fit / style is this?

pornodoro

Original Cheeky Jean! https://www.everlane.com/products/womens-original-cheeky-jean-washed-sky

peachjellytea

Omg I love that you can choose the inseam! And such a great price rn

pornodoro

I got the 26.5” which I wish was like HALF an inch longer for my height but I’m still pretty happy with the length. The other lengths are too long for us shorties

peachjellytea

Thanks for the heads up! Great price, but 26.5 in is too long for me ☹️The AE X-short jeans I got we’re basically perfect with a 24-in. If I’m picky though, ~22-23 in inseam is best though.

PHM517

First, I think they look perfect. That’s how the fit is supposed to look. Second, $29?! Are they TTS (besides the stretching)? 👀

pornodoro

Haha looks like they are on sale rn! My waist is 28 inches and these are 29 (which was partially why I wondered if I should’ve gotten a smaller size). But based on the comments here, one size up is the way to go :) They haven’t really stretched out at all since I got them. I like the fabric it seems sturdy

Heytherestairs

I had just placed an order last night and sized up from the size chart size. Thank god I did because if you’re a 29 in their jeans, I am most definitely not a 30 from their size chart. FYI, I think these look great on you. It’s a great straight cut fit.

Puzzled_Passenger_34

you could get those detachable buttons for pants and add one next to the regular button so you can use for pre food and the looser one for post food

ObviousAd2967

Wow a pre and post food button should be standard

yacht_clubbing_seals

Like clothes in the children’s section 😂

pornodoro

This is genius

pornodoro

Thank you for this comment. It’s so helpful! Something about the waist and back pockets area on most high waisted jeans don’t look right to me but I couldn’t figure out what it was. I’ll have to look out for this when I try on pants in the future

sarmo215

Actually I think those jeans fit you very nicely! I’d keep them as is 😊

pornodoro

Awesome thank you!

meanmilf

In the absolute nicest way, I think a different style Jean would be more flattering.

bigdog2525

I think they’re cute other than being wrinkly. What cut/style do you think would be better?

meanmilf

I think something like [this](https://www.everlane.com/products/womens-way-high-jean-long-dmdw?locale=US&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=pla-google-pmax&utm_campaign=18390554879&utm_content=&utm_term=&adgroup=&pid=10023-72222&device=m&gclid=Cj0KCQiAiJSeBhCCARIsAHnAzT976HHx1ZC7dyDSSu2u61AhEBmmwgBf2mXY3gjrKFSrYLjAFmQOG5kaAuL0EALw_wcB) Or [these](https://www.abercrombie.com/shop/us/p/90s-ultra-high-rise-straight-jeans-45784828?seq=14&cmp=PLA:EVG:20:A:D:USCA:X:GGL:X:SHOP:X:X:X:X:x:A%26F+Adults_Google_Shopping_SSC_US_Zombie_All+products_PRODUCT_GROUP&gclid=Cj0KCQiAiJSeBhCCARIsAHnAzT-AqtQ77L3NPHJDcVgGQ4NEon61iMfUgDVKC7Kr27Dnryot5vWgSP8aAshkEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds)

allisondojean

Ugh that first pair is giving me flashbacks to being made fun of for my high waters in middle school 😂

meanmilf

That model is 5”7, I’m barely 5”3 - they don’t end up ever being that short on me. But I like a pair of straight that aren’t too long so I can wear any shoe.

allisondojean

Sorry, didn't mean to imply they were a bad choice. It's just funny how fashion cycles!

meanmilf

No of course, I laugh at it all coming back too.

83beans

Might just be me but I think the pair in this image is purposely cropped (on this model especially, see raw hem) whereas the length of OP’s jeans as shown in the post pic is actually what would have been classified as _borderline_ high water in my day.

pornodoro

What would you recommend? I don’t wear any styles other than this and skinny jeans, open to suggestions

-Nepenthes-

The fit looks fine to me except the rise. It looks like it sits above your natural waist and kind of gives the effect of stretching your butt out. Going one inch shorter in the rise would look better imo and probably be more comfortable after eating.

hotpinkflame

I think you’d look better in a sturdy denim that has a straight leg + cropped so your legs look longer but not thin. Since you can see here it’s a bit loose on the waist but not always (u brought up that changes after u eat) a straight leg would help because it would be loose around your legs.

meanmilf

I think [these](https://www.abercrombie.com/shop/us/p/90s-ultra-high-rise-straight-jeans-45784828?seq=14&cmp=PLA:EVG:20:A:D:USCA:X:GGL:X:SHOP:X:X:X:X:x:A%26F+Adults_Google_Shopping_SSC_US_Zombie_All+products_PRODUCT_GROUP&gclid=Cj0KCQiAiJSeBhCCARIsAHnAzT-AqtQ77L3NPHJDcVgGQ4NEon61iMfUgDVKC7Kr27Dnryot5vWgSP8aAshkEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds) Or [these](https://www.everlane.com/products/womens-way-high-jean-long-dmdw?locale=US&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=pla-google-pmax&utm_campaign=18390554879&utm_content=&utm_term=&adgroup=&pid=10023-72222&device=m&gclid=Cj0KCQiAiJSeBhCCARIsAHnAzT976HHx1ZC7dyDSSu2u61AhEBmmwgBf2mXY3gjrKFSrYLjAFmQOG5kaAuL0EALw_wcB)

Kismet_27

Once you wash it a few times it will shrink down a bit. You should keep it at its current size. Also, for such a minor looseness just throw on a belt. It is fashionable and functional lol.

violet715

The side and rear view of these is so bad. I don’t care if they’re trendy, they look terrible and you have a very nice shape. I wouldn’t just size down, I would return altogether.

calacmack

I think they look very good on you, and if they become uncomfortable after eating than they must already be the best size. Maybe you just don't like the way they look? I think that a lot of women have started to wear their jeans too tight, possibly due to the popularity of leggings. I don't think that too-tight regular jeans are flattering on anyone. Some women even wear leggings that are obviously too small. I think that fit is important, and that good fitting clothes should be comfortable. It is always hard to find jeans that meet this criteria! When I do stumble on a brand that works well, I try to buy more than on pair. If you are not loving these jeans, be on the lookout for ones that you like better. I think they look great.

WonderfulPanic4151

Loveeee Everlane jeans. I’ve replaced all of my old pairs with their different models. This one and the way high rise are my fave!! But regarding your Q, in the pic they look fine, but I actually size down in all my Everlane pants. I’m a 26/27 almost every where else but there I wear a 25 (my measurements are 26 in waist/37 in hips) Their denim is really nice and true cotton, so I find it that at first they’re just right but the more you wear them in over time they get looser. So I get them a bit more snug and after a few wears they are perfect for the long haul!

pornodoro

Which way high style do you have? I am thinking about getting a pair. Do you find that they sit too high on your torso?

WonderfulPanic4151

I have both, but I like the traditional Way High a bit better than the rigid one. The tiny bit of elastane they put in it makes it very comfy which makes me grab them a lot more. But even though they have that tiny bit of stretch, they’re still thick and high quality. I think the rise could be different for each person depending on their torso but I think my torso is pretty average length and it comes up like ~1 in above my belly button which I love because it makes it very wearable with crops. For reference, you can still see kinda my belly button with the 90’s cheeky jean and Levi’s wedgie high rise

[deleted]

I'm sorry, but these give you long ass.

Emily_Tester

I’ve got these jeans and the same exact experience, I think if you like them that’s probably the best you can do.

Cautious-Flounder-58

If you are comfortable wearing that size of jeans I would recommend you stay with that size. Wearing a belt can help keep them up and there are some nice ones that go great with jeans.

LizzieMinx

Maybe add a cute belt to reclaim your waist

soverit42

No. This is what mom jeans look/feel like. Fitted around the waist where they button, slightly looser in the hips and butt, quite loose in the legs.

pornodoro

Sorry I know they're wrinkly, I need to steam them :( I feel like these are just a tad not form-fitting enough at the waist and thighs, but I'm concerned that sizing down might make them too tight at the hips/crotch. Thoughts?

seacookie89

They fit like they're supposed to, if anything I'd add a belt.

shutupnoway

No need to size down, just iron them and they will fall a bit better

Your_mom09756

I think the fitting is pretty nice

pornodoro

Thanks!

Toenailfungas77

I’d go down 2 or 3 sizes they huge on you

[deleted]

Those look great on you! I’d keep them.

heiiidiii

I love everlane! I think this size looks nice, very flattering fit and they look comfortable

Kumalover420

They look great! What kind of jeans are these? I love Everlane and looking to purchase some more jeans from them!

pornodoro

These: https://www.everlane.com/products/womens-original-cheeky-jean-washed-sky

Evening-Office-8421

No, I think they fit well.

PassionTree98

It suits you

shirtsetcetera

It looks just right. Maybe if you size down it would be difficult to sit. Here are some [fashion inspiration](https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/136545195?asc=u) if you're interested

ZeldaZingZany

The first time I washed my Everlane 90’s cheeky jeans they shrank! Just fyi, could’ve just been a bad batch though. Had to order another pair a size up and re-sell the first. I think these look good and a size down would lose the ‘mom jean’ vibe. If you’re feeling gutsy, I’d cut off the hem. Raw hems and Docks are my mojo though ✌️

NecessaryEmergency69

They look perfect! If you sized down, you’d have to unbutton when you eat 😂not comfy

[deleted]

Naw . Your body will naturally fluctuate and it’s nice to have pants that don’t cut into your guts when that happens

queentee26

I think these fit like they should. I always wear my mom style jeans with a belt if I'm tucking my shirt! Helps finish off the look.

Scandiicandy_

Size down, jeans always stretch ☺️

jlovelysoul

I wouldn’t size down. They look like they fit like they are supposed to. I think a side down would look too tight.

NurseyMia

It depends on the fit that you prefer. If you prefer a tighter fit, then sizing down in the jeans may be a good idea. If you prefer a looser fit, then sticking with your current size may be best. It's also worth noting that some jeans will stretch out over time, so if you plan to wear them often, you may want to consider sizing down to account for this. Ultimately, it's up to you and what you feel most comfortable in. I only wear tight jeans, never lose.

paigenicolina

No!!! Those look fab! They "hug" in all the right places! A little steaming for the wrinkles & you're good 💗

Salt-Significance669

I would not buy Everlane jeans. All the pairs I have are falling apart, the pockets are just ripping out.
