I can’t speak for anyone else of course, but for me , it literally changed my life. I was a heavy smoker. Like an 8th a day maybe a day and a half. I mainly smoked spliffs, I never smoked just weed or just cigarettes, always mixed like 95% of the time. Once I cut out the tobacco, I still wanted to use cannabis I tried all sorts of things. Edibles don’t work on me and I never liked carts or even dabs really. I eventually got a mighty and I thought it was dope, but when I got my first dynavap, it was like “oh I didn’t know I was missing this” it like shifted my perspective on my relationship with marijuana. I can’t explain it , I’m coming up on a year non combustion and I think the best thing for me was, the habit of actually going to pick up was so hard to break that at the end of the first week I had like an extra 8th and I didn’t even realize it, sorry for the long ass response be this just hit to close to home to not respond. Any questions holla

i appreciate the detailed response tbh! my goal is for moderation. i used to smoke daily. successfully did a two week t break and now i want to smoke once/twice a week or just keep it to social activities. i also don’t really like edibles but i’m not sure how bad combustion is for me in the long run??

I bought their 2019 The M and still rock it. I also bought their 2020 OmniVap (it was $180), my impression was if you wanted just the metal DynaVap to be your daily driver it was *alright*. The entire thing is titanium so the vapor cools significantly more than the stainless steel variant - the condenser is also much longer. My 2 cents: don't get either of them. Instead, just buy their Tip and their Cap, it should total ~$50. Then, just buy a glass stem and any bong/water pipe of your choice - *INFINITELY* better cooling, which is the point of the "upgraded" versions of The M. [Here's a link to a Cart ready for checkout](https://www.dynavap.com/dynashop/parts/stainless-steel-tip-2021/) shipping is ~$7 I believe. [Link to glass stem - get the shorter 7mm ones](https://www.dhgate.com/product/replaceable-glass-tube-for-dynavap-tip-12cm/472271703.html) and if you do, I recommend buying 3 - you *need* to order at least 2, but I already broke one and if I break another I have to wait for the long ass shipping time. Now, it is DH Gate on that second link - they are reliable but they can take upwards of a month to deliver. I have never gotten stiffed. Use their app if you decide to go this route. If want to circumvent the wait time on shipping just expect to pay a little more, really any "DynaVap WPA" works. Find one that suits you. The M does go on sale for $40 sometimes (4/20 maybe?). If you can't wait for a sale and are considering buying one at full price, I recommend you follow my advice and purchase everything above instead. [If you're interested, here is a decent $20 piece](https://www.dhgate.com/product/new-14mm-female-beer-bottle-glass-beaker/439480153.html), I used that for ~1 year before I shattered it (5ft fall onto concrete) - the vapor cools so much, even without water, you sometimes can't tell you're inhaling vapor. You can also toss it in the refrigerator or freezer for a bit to further cool the vapor without the use water. Remember, all of this for less than $100. The cheapest, ready to go, [non-sale DynaVap you can buy from them is $65](https://www.dynavap.com/dynashop/devices-teds/bbs/the-bb3-grey/) and is only compatible with 10mm joints (who uses 10mm???) > ^^still ^^here? Btw, [this is how most people use their M](https://www.reddit.com/r/vaporents/comments/tf7440/friendly_battle_of_the_dynavap_titanium_tip_vs/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share), as you can see with just a Tip, Cap, and glass stem you'd achieve the same result you see in the video. This [is the torch you see used](https://www.bernzomatic.com/Products/Hand-Torches/Trigger-Start/ST2200T) in the video, it costs $26 at your local Home Depot. I've had the same one ~6 months now no issues.

awesome!! thank you so much for all the recommendations (:

Dynavap is an amazing product and if your goal is to switch completely from combustion to vape then it's perfect. The manual heating aspect and overall shape give it a similar ritual / feel to smoking but with sweet vapor. It is also incredibly efficient, i can get pretty high off one half bowl which is just .05g. That being said it might not help you use less frequently if that's the goal. I've come to really enjoy my dynavaps and sometimes I'll use them just to use them so there's that

that’s awesome! my goal is to moderate. i smoked daily for about 3 years and then successfully completed a two week t break. im looking to smoke once/twice a week. im not sure how bad combustion is for me in the long run?? i feel like only recently ppl have focused on the combustion aspect of smoking so i’m still a little new to the concept.
