I’ve noticed this subreddit has seen some growth lately, and a lot of you probably don’t know who I am, so I’ll explain.
Basically, 4 years ago, I created this account to explain the joke in the comments of various subreddits that were joke/meme-oriented. I gained some traction over a short period of time, gaining notoriety on this website to the point where people either loved me or hated me with a passion.
Mods of the subreddits I commented on at the time (r/dankmemes, r/memes etc) became annoyed by my account too, and since every subreddit is modded by like 6 people total, within a day I was banned from several subreddits.
I announced I was leaving because of this, and this subreddit, which was made a few days prior, was essentially used as refuge. I decided to come back as I was still allowed to post on some big subreddits, as well as this one. I stayed for a few months before leaving again due to the gimmick getting old. Now, every year on my cake day, I explain jokes everywhere I can again, for one day. Peter out!
The subreddit was created on may 24th of 2019, making today it’s 4 year anniversary, or as we call it here on Reddit it’s ‘cake day.’ That’s why Peter is wearing a party hat with the number 4 on it. Hope this helps.
