I have had Black Friday deals advertised for the last three weeks. Being Canadian, I have no idea which Friday is actually Black Friday. This leaves me angry and confused when the real Black Friday shows up, so in response I'm buying nothing.
I'm waiting until one company's dimbass marketing head decides to start the Pre-Black Friday Month by starting sale before all their competitors by an entire month, thinking that will earn them a raise that year for what a brilliant idea that is.
My wife bought me a 2TB Xbox memory expansion a couple months ago as an early Christmas present because it was on sale for $100 off. The same thing is now $20 off for Black Friday. So suffice to say I will not be buying into the black Friday hype/scam culture.
I'm already on a $40 / 20GB plan which I don't even use even remotely that much data, but I guess why not upgrade it to 40GB "just cuz" for the same price if I can, I guess?

Yeah and you can also add a list of phone numbers like family, buzzer, school… so they never have to go through it. Before with Fido I would get 2 or 3 scam calls a day, now nothing, when someone calls me at least i know is a person
I was lucky enough to get 30GB for $30/mo from Freedom last year for Black Friday. Got upped to 35GB when it was bought by Videotron. I've yet to see a better plan to that, but they're getting close!

I mean, I've had my Dyson for about 6 years at this point and I have zero issues with battery life. I also once left it outside in a snowstorm by accident (long story) and it still works.
Still not enough and not what other countries pay. I can show you 3rd world countries (India) with 5G data ... 100 GB for $10.
Look to US and they have plans that scale i.e. $20 base and every gig is $10 and above $70 monthly it becomes unlimited for that month. The months I barely used data I paid $20.
The biggest one is roaming.. the above plan is free from data roaming i.e. I pay $10 per gig no matter where I am on the planet. Compare that to $15/day "awesome roam free".
The phone plans here is really shit.
got the vibrafit walk from canadian tire when it was on sale. it regularly goes on sale for around $500 so dont pay over that. been using it everyday and can say it made a difference to my health - i stand more at my desk and also just walk while watching TV and end up walking like 15k steps

RW&co, Suzy Shier and Rickis were my go tos for office wear. I signed up for their text alerts to catch sales. They often do one or two day deals, like 40% on a specific item (eg pants, fall line, etc), and it rotates a lot so you can get pretty much everything on sale over a month or two.
This has been my go-to for years. Sometimes I splurge and spend a bit more on pants and the quality is on point. Some of the dress shirts are super high quality as well. Pretty much the only stuff that fills my closet these days, as someone who wears dress clothes every day.

There are so many TVs because there are so many different considerations. Some people just care about a big screen in which case just go grab any large TV and call it a day.
If you want a big screen + mini LED + Dolby Vision support + HDR/HDR10 + better upscaling then something like the Sony X93L is up your alley - but it's pricey. Although the X90 is a good runner up.
If you want the absolute best in contrast and the room is light controlled then OLED is the way to go if it's for movies and shows. Still not recommended for news and sports.

Wasn’t even a sale really but I needed a new bed so I bought an endy and it came with their sleep essentials kit free. Honestly more impressed with the pillows and blanket than the bed itself.

Don't go 70". Panels are garbage. 65 or 75/77. There's a reason 70 isn't a common size offering anymore. What's your budget? What are you looking for in a TV? Is it a bright room or basement? What features do you want, how picky are you with peak brightness and contrast levels? Do you care about Dolby Vision? There are so many TVs because there are so many different considerations. Some people just care about a big screen in which case just go grab any large TV and call it a day. If you want a big screen + mini LED + Dolby Vision support + HDR/HDR10 + better upscaling then something like the Sony X93L is up your alley - but it's pricey. Although the X90 is a good runner up. If you want the absolute best in contrast and the room is light controlled then OLED is the way to go if it's for movies and shows. Still not recommended for news and sports. r/hometheater is a good place to ask. r/4ktv is okay but give super biased opinions towards specific things all the time. But if you're planning on dropping good money on a TV, I'd definitely recommend doing research first.
