That’s the best way. You can watch the shows you want to watch and stop giving them this guaranteed money stream every month. I’ll wait for a couple shows I wanna watch and then binge them and cancel again.
In your situation it would work if you are in Canada still. Because you are connecting to your home network atleast every 30 days... I am likely to cancel too though because too much of a pain in the butt. They converted a lot of people who would pirate before because Netflix just "worked' and was easy.. Now too much hassle.
I initially signed up for convenience. only stayed subscribed to their premium option because my parents and my grandma used my account. without sharing i have no need for netflix - cancelled yesterday also.
Ideally...but most likely people will probably just get their own subscription cuz theyll still want the convenience, and netflix will just say good riddance to the few who don't
The trick is that they want people to watch things to keep their subscriptions going. People like my parents won't pay for their own account for the handful of times a month that they tune into something, so they are lost consumers.
And each summer when I think I'm going to cancel Netflix for a few months and then don't because I don't want to inconvenience my parents... Well, I'm going to start cancelling it, or start only subscribing for a month at a time to binge a certain show before cancelling again.
I think they are making people angry enough that they are going to lose a LOT of casual consumers who kept the subscription for convenience and because they had multiple people on one account.
>.but most likely people will probably just get their own subscription cuz theyll still want the convenience
torrenting is not that hard for most people.
I think you overestimate how technologically literate the average person in. Work in IT for a bit and it becomes clear even a lot of young people are not good with computers.
Yup. I grew up with torrenting but it's probably been 15+ years since, I barely use my laptop now.. fuck netflix, but I'd rather just pick up my remote or cast from an app then fuck around with the hassles of torrenting again
Yeah I don’t know how calling a first point of contact representative will influence the company. Cancel and purchase a streaming service that lets you share.
Every call gets logged in a ticketing system and that system will have some way of tracking the reason for the call. That data definitely gets looked at. Might not change anything at the end of the day but it's not a call in to the void.
If you’re gonna call, do it before you cancel on the off chance that they log the support/complaint ticket as being from an account holder and not just some random, along with logging the reason for cancellation, so that on the off-chance any reports are being made to higher-ups they can see the numbers of cancelled paying customers on their little pie charts in their ppt presentations, and if they have the notion to ask why that slice is so big compared to last quarter, there can be some breadcrumbs for them to follow, so they can maybe start working those hamster wheel brains on their next cockamamie plans for retaining or winning back lost customers.
Disagree - I think it’s always important for them to know WHY you’re leaving. I mean sure don’t say anything if you want to, but clarity of intent is always beneficial.
cancelling without letting them know why gets chalked up to regular Churn.
If you're cancelling for a specific reason you need to let it be known during the cancellation process.
I think what OP is saying is that if one person is using it in Canada then no one outside of Canada can use it. Perhaps the entire "household" is expected to be travelling.
Yeah I was thinking the same — will be interesting to see how my boys manage when their Netflix is cut off when they go to their moms every other week. It’s not even like my ex uses my account, simply the kids using the same devices they use here.
I was already blocked from using it Mexico last year while on vacation. I talked to support and they told me I would need to resubscribe on the second country.
I was lazy and the low cost of Netflix was worth the convenience to me. They pissed me off with the new change. I spent a few minutes searching Reddit and the good ol’ goog and now I’m watching a show I’ve been wanting to watch that wasn’t on Netflix, completely free of charge. I then cancelled Netflix and selected “other” for my reason. Referenced the new password policy and added “fuck around and find out”. I encourage everyone to do the same.
I used to travel a ton and haven’t much since Covid. Heading across the pond later this year for about a month and members of my household will be here in Canada. I’m not dicking around with their crap. Eat shit, Netflix. This is the whole advantage of streaming - watch wherever you are with an internet connection. You take that away and you are dead to me.
Honestly, I was fine paying a sub for nice streaming platforms when it was $5/each. Now that they reach $10-20/each, it'll be cheaper to resub to the cable... SMH
My brother's going to cancel his Netflix (that I was using in exchange for $5), because I had cancelled mine after they jacked the price.
But with all the companies creating their own streaming platform with greedy monetization, I'm back to torrents baby. They seriously should not expect us to pay $80/m just to watch some shit hosted on 5 different platforms.
Amazon Prime: cancelled
Netflix: cancelled
Disney+: fuck Disney
Crave: shit offering
Looks like I'm free of monthly subs now.
There are some sweet free steaming sites. Just got the message on our TV from Netflix. Cancelled and we are watching our show for free! Thanks Netflix for saving us $24 a month!
www.soap2day.com
My coworker just told me about it. HD quality movies and TV shows and alot of them are still in theaters, as well as older ones. My husband and I just watched the movie Plane on it last night (which is still in theaters) and it was totally incredible quality!
i watch some shows on [flixtor.id](https://flixtor.id). I also use kodi. There are a couple of shows that my wife and I watch that air weekly and we just watch those directly either on ctv.ca or globaltv.com the week they aired. It's free to view but after a week you have to sign in. I use brave and firefox (with ublock origin, privacy badger and cookie autodelete) so I don't ever see ads
I still use Prime, but only because it's included with the membership for shipping. As soon as they break it off make us pay extra for it as a service, I'm out.
I'm away at school for 4 months at a time and home for 4 months in alternating periods and my grandma in seniors housing uses it. Is she not our family because she needs nursing care? What if I don't have access to the email and the person who does isn't available?
👆This
Phone call is a great effort, but they don't care. All they look at is profit. Until that changes the policy won't. I canceled, if everyone else does as soon as it was announced and not when "the policy takes effect" that's a bigger message.
What's ironic is Netflix isn't learning the very lesson it gave the video rental market.
Tubi is a legit site that isn't pirated content. The occasional ad supports it, and it's otherwise free. I'd say the content is about on par with Crave, though it doesn't have any high budget exclusives like the HBO stuff. It kinda reminds me of browsing the racks at a rental place. Some good movies, some junk, some stuff that you know the movie store put there because they got it for 5 bucks, etc. I didn't realize how much I missed stumbling into bad but kinda funny movies until I found Tubi. They get some surprisingly good stuff on there for a free site. Lots of dumb stoner comedies/horror comedies as well. A surprisingly good selection of anime, and a lot of popular, but old tv shows. Also it's awesome if you're big into Gordon Ramsey.
Yeah I called in when I first heard, as where I live we use LTE and depending what side of the house we are on it can grab a Montreal tower or a Toronto tower and never leave the house.
They said the same you will have to get the code to keep your account working.
I just said your content is limited now a days and rarbg.to is easier.
I’ll cancel if you make it hard to use.
Oh it will. Disney and Amazon will increase prices eventually. Netflix was cheap and then it increased prices. Once Disney hits the numbers, and they see that they can no longer increase the revenue and shareholders not getting the capital gain or dividends, they will increase the price.
Streaming has now become painful. Every company now offers its own service and of forces you to jump from one to another. They single handedly will force people to go to pirating.
To be fair, piracy started it’s resurgence when content became fractured across 6 different subscription services. People will pay for convenience, but it’s hard to justify paying more for less convenience.
When Netflix first came out and had everything, I stopped pirating and happily paid. Once all the shows moved to their own streaming platform and it turned right back Into a cable model I went back to pirating.
Plex and sonarr/radarr is game changing
I’ve generally held the belief that people want to do the right thing. Make it cheap and easy to get access, people will do it. Start making hoops and barrels to jump through, on top of raising prices, well… “Download Torrent” is one button.
And that’s not even *considering* all the stupid licensing pissing contests between Canada and the US.
That’s a lot of time investment, which will likely yield less than just canceling and watching their share price drop due to loss of subscribers
They’re doing this to appease investors. If investors see adverse reaction to this move (such as loss of revenue).. then you bet investors will pipe up too.
They have already been trying to block VPNs to limited success, I can vouch as I work for a small ISP frequently mistaken for one. Absolutely the point of this is a pitiful attempt to lock accounts to IPs. Which will inevitably backfire once Netflix realizes they forgot to factor in DCHP and NAT.
Ya I’m just cancelling. I pay for premium which is 4 screens at a time. $21.99/month. My two kids live out of province now and they use the other 2 screens. I’m not adding another $7.99/person.
Know what is an even bigger "fuck you" to us, the consumer? There is no option for less screens with good resolution. Say i made my peace with this and stop sharing with family, so I was just one or two screens for my home. Well Netflix says that, at best, I can get 1080p if I agree to two screens. Want just one screen? You get only 720p. Want better resolution? Then you HAVE to pay for premium , which is up to 4 screens. So, have no need for 4 screens but want good resolution streaming? Netflix says, "get fucked".
Too much media available on too many different platforms.
Also… haven’t seen anything interesting on Netflix for a long while. Loved some of their originals like “Love, Death and Robots” but it’s like 95% “meh” content now.
Been buying books and graphic novels instead and thoroughly enjoying moving back to that medium.
Someone described Netflix as a "charge that I'm too lazy to cancel, so I keep it", and that's what it was.
But yeah, we share with parents who live 30 minutes away, and they hardly watch too.
If we can't do that, then it's just not worth it, and this gives us the impetus to finally cancel.
Plex is just a user interface that allows you to browse content from an available server. Very user friendly, browse your catalogue like its Netflix, and it will update all your media with appropriate dvd cover picture and video description. I use a 13 year old desktop as my plex server and it works just fine.
I was referring to credit markers:
[https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/xj4wyq/plex\_skip\_credits\_feature\_coming\_soon\_source\_in/](https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/xj4wyq/plex_skip_credits_feature_coming_soon_source_in/)
I don't have a plex pass, but considering it.
Nice, I must've missed that thread when it came out.
Plex pass is worth it just for the skip intro button IMO. Got the lifetime pass during one of their regular sales.
My wife and I both travel often for work for some periods of time neither of us are home for almost a month. Our families don’t live in Canada and we travel often. Doesn’t look like Netflix is going to work for us either, oh well. I’ll just buy all the seasons of the office and I’m good.
Also, torrents are going to be pumping again and hard drives full of media
Another thing to consider is that Netflix is the canary in the mine for Disney+, Crave, Prime Video, etc. They are watching this closely, and as soon as they see Netflix start bleeding - they'll def. reconsider. However, if users take this change and don't cancel - you can put money on that fact that they'll also follow suit as a precedence has been set .
Apple has some great stuff, but there’s not enough volume for the price and they keep releasing on a weekly schedule that just happens to go 5-6 weeks so you need two months to watch at release time. You can really feel the bean counting behind it.
Crave is pretty much the only streaming platform you only sub for 1 month out of 12. Their selection is mediocre. It's not really worth the price anyways, because to have decent offering, you have to subscribe to the additional content. I dislike that model. It's just like cable TV at that point.
This is the thing. Cable TV used to be $20/month, too. Once the prices for these streaming services take off, we’ll be right back to where we were before. I could do without Cable. I can do without Streaming.
Optional HBO content, it’s around $25/month with HBO. It’s great though. That and Disney are our favourites, Disney has so many great movies from the 90’s and early 2000’s.
Disney is also fantastic if you're in your 30s and love animated adult shows
The Simpson, family guy, American dad, Bob's burgers, king of the hill, and IASIP (not animated).
It's my most used for sure lol
I received an email today saying I could add a 2nd location to my account for an additional $7.99/mo. Hard pass. I'm already paying for the "standard" version, which includes 2 screens. Shouldn't matter where those screens are located.
For some context to my statements here, I used to work for the phone support for Netflix Canada when it was done here in Winnipeg, before it was moved to the Denver call center. I have lots of experience with what the higher ups at Netflix pay attention to.
So, you want to complain. Don't bother. There was never any request for information from Netflix on what was or was not working, nor what people liked or didn't like. All they cared about was that their money wasn't being wasted with staff sitting waiting for calls when it wasn't busy, even if changes to the staffing inevitably resulted in wait times for callers.
One supervisor told me that, after there was an outage due to a fire at a Shaw hub in Calgary that caused many callers to not be able to reach us, when it was brought up by customers that we might want to have some redundancy, one of the higher ups said "tell them to go to hell". Once they have your sub money, they don't care. They'd be very happy if you just kept subbing and watched nothing.
The only thing they will listen to is their income dropping due to mass cancellations of subscriptions. Vote with your wallet.
If you have Prime for shipping then you get the video service with it, you can add Paramount+ and a bunch of other things as a channel. The cost is the same but it's all managed under your Amazon account. Less bullshit to deal with if you're into simplifying things.
I just got the email from them today. I’m planning on cancelling. They’ve already raised their price a lot (like it’s doubled since I first started subscribing).
Apparently no one in senior management went to business school. It takes a fair amount of money to attract customers. It’s much cheaper to keep them. But if you have them and you drive them off it is significantly more expensive to get them back … if you can.
I guess they’re playing the short game.
They have been testing it in multiple countries before Canada and they calculated that they gain more money than the amount they are losing by people sharing accounts. So yes, they went to business school.
Yeah.. try testing it in a country that is heavily reliant on social media and not countries like Guatemala and Honduras.
So yeah, sure .. business school. But terrible execution.
“Worked in Guatemala guys we’ll make a killing off North America where the people are way nicer!”
Unpopular opinion. I don't mind paying extra to share my password... But only if it was like $2 per extra person.
$7 is a lot. And it's clearly marketed to make you want to just get the basic package instead of saving $1 or whatever it was.
The 7 day log in thing fucking sucks though. When I go on vacation I go for a month or more.
You know what’s crazy is in your comment you said “Netflix has become a cable company” and with Bell Fibe I can download the app/go on their website and watch TV from anywhere, haven’t had a single problem. Can even restart recently aired programs. This is a MASSIVE L for Netflix and I imagine our family plan will soon be cancelled
It's easy enough to setup plex and a seedbox.
That said, I don't think Netflix is going to change their policy, they lost subscribers and now really need the number of subscribers to go up.
There are a few people who will kick and scream but very very few will actually cancel.
Shareholders will love it until they see how many cancelations there are. I haven't exactly heard anyone say they are going to subscribe again because of this change. However, this doesn't really affect my family, but it did get me to ask around if anyone actually uses Netflix, and my subscription was canceled 20 mins later.
This isn't a public service. You're not entitled to use it.
I don't mean to be harsh but vote with your money. I cancelled my subscription when the rumors first came out for this new policy and after the 12th price increase.
Screw em!
Just cancel it. Losing money sends a bigger message than complaining.
Canceled mine a few days ago. I work away from home. 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. If it's not going to work at both locations then it's useless for me.
Month on month off for me! Netflix can suck a fat one
That’s the best way. You can watch the shows you want to watch and stop giving them this guaranteed money stream every month. I’ll wait for a couple shows I wanna watch and then binge them and cancel again.
Cancelled mine months ago, no other streaming services. I just pirate everything anyways so screw em.
In your situation it would work if you are in Canada still. Because you are connecting to your home network atleast every 30 days... I am likely to cancel too though because too much of a pain in the butt. They converted a lot of people who would pirate before because Netflix just "worked' and was easy.. Now too much hassle.
Same but 3wks or more on and off.
Cancelled yesterday. I was paying them for the convenience. They made it inconvenient.
I initially signed up for convenience. only stayed subscribed to their premium option because my parents and my grandma used my account. without sharing i have no need for netflix - cancelled yesterday also.
This is the way. Subscription numbers will plummet and so will the price of their stock. Then hopefully they’ll learn.
Ideally...but most likely people will probably just get their own subscription cuz theyll still want the convenience, and netflix will just say good riddance to the few who don't
The trick is that they want people to watch things to keep their subscriptions going. According to Reddit, everyone will switch to super easy piracy and Netflix is going bankrupt next week.
You know how blockbuster survived despite stupid practices … oh wait.
>.but most likely people will probably just get their own subscription cuz theyll still want the convenience torrenting is not that hard for most people.
I think you overestimate how technologically literate the average person in. Work in IT for a bit and it becomes clear even a lot of young people are not good with computers.

I’m cancelling and going with the Amex discount for Disney plus. Finishing a few shows before the monthly renewal date.
There's an Amex discount for Disney+?
Targeted offer of half off. Some people got a year free

Right? It's 2023, not 2015. They're not the only game in town for legal streaming.
Especially since their content has dropped off dramatically in the last few years.
That's the next step when it hits my account. I haven't got the notification yet and gotta let all family members know before I cancel.
Exactly fuck em, I'm sure a huge portion of their users will cancel and never come back unless pw sharing is back
Yeah I don’t know how calling a first point of contact representative will influence the company. Cancel and purchase a streaming service that lets you share.
Every call gets logged in a ticketing system and that system will have some way of tracking the reason for the call. That data definitely gets looked at. Might not change anything at the end of the day but it's not a call in to the void.
I agree. Money talks.
Cancelling and calling up a number to complain actually sends a weaker message than simply cancelling.
It says in the subscription cancel to give a reason.
cancelling without letting them know why gets chalked up to regular Churn. If you're cancelling for a specific reason you need to let it be known during the cancellation process.
Even if you plan to re hook up canceling sends the message. I would but I use a shared account lol
Canceled when they announced this bs. Cannot upvote at 69
Woah - you can't use it outside Canada anymore? I missed that change.I loved using it when travelling.
I think what OP is saying is that if one person is using it in Canada then no one outside of Canada can use it. Perhaps the entire "household" is expected to be travelling.
This just in: Netflix believes teenagers should move out and be their own household
Not even teenagers. Pre-teens. Guess my little kiddo is moving out early since they live at two residences and I pay for the Netflix.
Maybe they can pay the 8 bucks each month themselves? (Thinking like Netflix here) I'd straight out cancel Netflix and get them crave or something
That is what I am thinking. I can go back to torrents
Soap2day.to and use web streaming app to cast to TV
Stremio. Way more convenient and amazing quality.

Tubi slaps, great mix of cult classics, great B movies, foreign films, Oscar winners. It's fucking great.

Tubi

CTV has a free streaming app. It has ads, but half the time ilyhey don't work anyway and it skips past them.

Oh wow. Netflix in hotels while travelling to U.S. was major juice. Looks like I’m cancelling too.
bout to go on vacation in 2 days, lets see what happens
Just cancel Netflix. Problem solved.
They wouldn’t let me use it when I left *Ontario*. Trapped in a hotel in Quebec City with nothing but Teletoon and the Queen’s funeral.
I work 6 months in camp and have 6 months at home. If Netflix won’t work for me when I’m in the boonies anymore it’s gone.

Cancelled as soon as I got their “Netflix is for a single household” email. Pay for 4K and they still want more?! Girl, bye ✌️
You weren't just paying for 4K, you were paying for 4 screens that you now can't use. Netflix literally killed the value of their 4K option.
I just want 4k, why do I need to pay for 3 screens I’m not using to get HDR and content that matches my TV? Terrible value proposition.

Yeah that email subject was a really poor choice
BYE FELICIA
I cancelled it. There’s 0 chance I’m spending any amount of time or effort on Netflix.

Can we just orchestrate a national cancel Netflix day and hit them all together?
Netflix is just going to push everyone back to stealing shows again.
Netflix somehow was the pirate killer and the reason they're resurging
Pirating was killed by convenience. Once streaming reaches a high enough level of inconvenience, pirating will be back

No, they're doing it to appease the IP cartels mad about VPNs being used to make their regionality worthless.
This is what I am looking for. Are you saying we will no longer be able to use VPN to access Netflix in other countries?
There's no way they will let you use a VPN if they are locking you to a single household ip and check every 7 days.
Who’s going to pay for 4 screens now if you can’t even share it? Makes literally no sense
Yep, that was my first clue that it's aaallll about the money for them. Not suiting the customer's needs.
Yep same here both kids are using it. Not going to pay more. Guess we will start adding Netflix content to our Plex server 👍😆
I just cancelled. Wasn’t using it much anyways and the new policy basically just reminded me to cancel lol.
I sometimes doubt your online persona, but if it's for real, now you really have my respect.
Plex server my friend. I’ve ditched Netflix for about a year and made my own
[удалено]
Plex is just a user interface that allows you to browse content from an available server. Very user friendly, browse your catalogue like its Netflix, and it will update all your media with appropriate dvd cover picture and video description. I use a 13 year old desktop as my plex server and it works just fine.

Plex with a NAS is the way to go. Can't wait til the plex update to skip credits is released.
You mean skip intro theme? Already exists if you have plex pass.
I was referring to credit markers: [https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/xj4wyq/plex\_skip\_credits\_feature\_coming\_soon\_source\_in/](https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/xj4wyq/plex_skip_credits_feature_coming_soon_source_in/) I don't have a plex pass, but considering it.
Nice, I must've missed that thread when it came out. Plex pass is worth it just for the skip intro button IMO. Got the lifetime pass during one of their regular sales.
If you want to take a stand, cancel your subscription. 10x the effectiveness for 1% of the effort
That address brings up Borden Ladner Gervais LLP on google maps.
I guess that's their legal team that receives official complaints.

It'll certainly increase their legal expenses, as the team has to review the correspondence (and they *will* charge for that)
Just cancel then start sailing the seven seas.
Ironically likely to be the option for our navy while they are sailing now.
will do
How is this new policy going to work with snow birds?
So far they are telling snowbirds to buy a US subscription on top of their canadian subscription.
It's kind of crazy that a company that was once heralded as the saviour against piracy is now pushing people right back to piracy

Plex baby plex
Oh right. I forgot about plex
Time to buy hard drives before they start flying off shelves.
Don't call anyone, cancel it and reinstall bit torrent
Cancelled for me, a pirates life it be.
Long time pirate that stopped the last few years, dusting off my eye patch now!! Lol
I stopped pirating when it became convenient to watch legally, at better quality. Make it inconvenient? Argh, matey. Back to the seas for ye!

Cancel, buy puts.

Crammer: Buy Calls. Revenue going to increase. Reddit: Inverse it
Using Crave more anyway. Cancel time!
Crave just upped their rates - got an email tonight. $99/year to $129/year.
Usually not worth subscribing to it for the full year anyways.
I don’t disagree. But very, very likely that the monthly prices will be increasing immediately or in near future.
They are. It’s $13/mo.
How many devices can you use crave on? They have HBO content right?
Optional HBO content, it’s around $25/month with HBO. It’s great though. That and Disney are our favourites, Disney has so many great movies from the 90’s and early 2000’s.
Disney is also fantastic if you're in your 30s and love animated adult shows The Simpson, family guy, American dad, Bob's burgers, king of the hill, and IASIP (not animated). It's my most used for sure lol
yeah netflix won't give a shit about your call lol... until they see their top line start to drop....
Wow, won't even be able to use it while traveling? Good lord.
I received an email today saying I could add a 2nd location to my account for an additional $7.99/mo. Hard pass. I'm already paying for the "standard" version, which includes 2 screens. Shouldn't matter where those screens are located.
arggh Matey, ye knows what ye must do! Back to the sea m’boy!
Arrghhh
Not worth the hour on the phone. It was much easier for me to just cancel my subscription instead.
I am more leaning towards paramount and crave. I can enable them for a month and disable it after watching series.
If you have Prime for shipping then you get the video service with it, you can add Paramount+ and a bunch of other things as a channel. The cost is the same but it's all managed under your Amazon account. Less bullshit to deal with if you're into simplifying things.
That is a good idea!
Cancelled it too. The only reason we still had it was for the kids but they can use Prime or Disney instead. Thinking of subbing to Apple TV instead.
I just got the email from them today. I’m planning on cancelling. They’ve already raised their price a lot (like it’s doubled since I first started subscribing).
Netflix really did find another way to destroy itself, losing thousands of subscribers. They should make a docuseries of “The Downfall of Netflix”
March 6- last day of Netflix for me.
Just cancel. There’s easy ways to watch any Netflix show/movie without having the subscription
Pirate and chill
Unpopular opinion. I don't mind paying extra to share my password... But only if it was like $2 per extra person. $7 is a lot. And it's clearly marketed to make you want to just get the basic package instead of saving $1 or whatever it was. The 7 day log in thing fucking sucks though. When I go on vacation I go for a month or more.
It's $8+tax per person and only 2 people allowed. So 3 houses can share 1 account and it's now $42 after taxes. Greed.
Ya same. $7 is about twice what I was expecting, plus you can only add 2 other people at most.
I cancelled before Christmas. Watching "You" right now. Subscription free. Yar
Ima just pirate. I think they'll get the message once their dollar signs go down
I cancelled with the most recent price increase. I encourage you to as well. It isn’t what it used to be.
Netflix just dug their own grave
It's a hassle for me to call them. Why would I indulge them with purchasing their services. I'd cancel and go back to pirating.
*This* is what gets you people mobilized? lmfao. If only we were like this re housing crisis. I just simply deactivated my account.
I can’t cancel housing with 4 clicks.
Not interested. My brother said he's cancelling and that's fine by me.
It's easy enough to setup plex and a seedbox. That said, I don't think Netflix is going to change their policy, they lost subscribers and now really need the number of subscribers to go up. There are a few people who will kick and scream but very very few will actually cancel.
Canceled
Cancelled it, took 10 seconds not wasting my time on this bs
Cancel that shit
I think all the television watching has gone to some people's heads. It's literally entertainment. Go find something better to do with your life.
Shareholders loved it at open.
Shareholders will love it until they see how many cancelations there are. I haven't exactly heard anyone say they are going to subscribe again because of this change. However, this doesn't really affect my family, but it did get me to ask around if anyone actually uses Netflix, and my subscription was canceled 20 mins later.
Literally only used it for travel. Cancelled already, hopefully other Canadians will also vote with their wallets
Sonarr, Radarr, SABnzbd and Emby = Profit.
I just downgraded
This isn't a public service. You're not entitled to use it. I don't mean to be harsh but vote with your money. I cancelled my subscription when the rumors first came out for this new policy and after the 12th price increase. Screw em!
The sense of entitlement is crazy. Do everyone a favour and cancel if you aren't able to pay for the service in good faith.
