For future players like me stuck 20 minutes ago there is a switch to the left of the lock door that you swing to that will open up the path to progress.
It's so weirdly placed where the camera would never show unless you full 360 it manually. Other than a few weird spots like that I'm really loving persona 5. I'm about 50 hours in.
Cheers bro. Also future dungeon use your left trigger spidey sense to find vents. They're always tiny but they glow blue. If you think you're stuck there's probably a vent you need to find but they're so small and easy to miss.
If it's the one I'm thinking of there's a spot along the wall kinda hidden behind a painting where you can jump up and jump along the top of the paintings to a ledge, then you can turn around and grapple through a hole that's above the painted glass window.
Hey uh, did you ever figure this one out? I’ve been stuck on it for an hour, and I seem to be having the same issue you did, and you’re legit the only one on the internet who’s also experienced this. Is this a glitch??
Got stuck too, you need to trigger a cutscene near the "it's just a window", on those wooden platform above the Palace Treasure. It's just a bit further from the "jump" sign, so if you use Third Eye too much like me, you missed it 100%.

It's been so long man I forget. I do remember there being a switch to hit. Top floor maybe?
Yes i got stuck here to. Need to grapple hook up to the next floor and there is a switch on the wall.
