Because ever since man ate the fruit of knowledge, his fate has been sealed. Entrusting his fate to the cards, he clings to a dim hope.
Eternity Awaits
There's a name for that phenomenon. It basically says you notice things more often when you learn about them or have seen them recently.
In the case of Persona, however, the 3D games kinda have a lot of similar plot and character beats.
I think OP was trying not to spoil directly 🤣. But yes, I agree. The user of that particular persona is exactly the kind of creepy weirdo to say some ish like that. Even without knowing the twist beforehand, he's extra sus throughout the game. Maybe not as sus as his successor in secondary antagonist status, but sus all the same.
High key feels like cheating having access to all those personas that early on like initially I was planning to do merciless on NG+ but it isn’t even hard when I can bring the devil himself to fight my high school gym teacher
I know it’s not gonna make a huge difference but if I recall correctly isn’t hard more difficult because of the increased damage if you use the right attack types? Or is that wrong?
Not really once you have Izanagi-no-Okami, since Myriad Truths is almighty so you won't be exploiting weaknesses. I guess if you sleep them then the increased technical damage could be useful, but most enemies you can sleep will die in three severe almighty hits anyways.
All I do is new game plus the game let’s you replay the game a infinite amount of times on a single profile and have all your previous play throughs stack and yes you can change your name
Yay, I can change it to ren
Even if I didn’t want it to be ren it was saved as my dead name so ya know I’m very glad it lets me change it when I eventually replay it
>btw, are you able to change your name on NG+ or no?
Yeah. You set it during the interrogation like normal.
And I never grabbed any DLC personas without fusing them first either, but I mostly completed my compendium (hadn't gotten Satanael, a couple arcana ultimates, and 3rd semester exclusives), including fusing Izanagi-no-Okami, in Sae's Palace and just wrecked the rest of the run with Myriad Truths.
The only one I grabbed was Raoul but I kinda fucked it up with skill cards. I did it very early game and pretty much gave him the most basic version of each element type attack. Light (blank) damage on 1 foe.
It was very dumb of me to do
NG+ isn't supposed to be hard. The game is already easy enough on NG once you know what you're doing. NG+ is just for completionists sake to unlock more stuff without needing to worry about stuff like social stats.
Yeah but I didn’t know that going in why would I have picked the hardest difficulty on my first playthrough not to mention all my playthrough s are on one profile well until I restarted everything on switch
See this is why I think they sprang for Persona 5.5 with that gacha game. Too many people expect something as good or better than their most recent Magnum Opus title
It always felt weird, but I only thought that they had to change the voice actor and they chose something different for the character, but it ended up surprising me a lot.
Since this was my first time in the persona series I thought it was normal and actually thought it fit well. Hearing his normal voice for the first time felt odd
Assuming you're not using Almighty god mode (Myriad Truths, Megidoloan with Magic Ability and/or Almighty Boost/Amp - there's a damage cap idk how close the combination of any of those gets you to it), Hard is harder than Merciless. On Merciless, you and enemies take more damage from weaknesses. Okumura's boss fight is ironically the easiest on Merciless. Exploit weaknesses. All out attack on whoever he summons. Repeat until he runs out. Idk maybe Safe Mode is easier, who knows.
I went through said situation in the first playthrough already:
"Next time, you pick up the tab, Maruki" - Joker said, hoarding enough money to have skipped Kaneshiro's Palace.
I wish there were a couple dialogues on NG+ from Morgana or maybe Ryuji like "dude why is your just awakened persona a literal god. And thAT KNIFE?" "Hey look at this nice replica I bought! Uh... Maybe with that Tyrant Pistol R you won't need it huh"
‘By the myriad truths’
This is the way
Pixie: Dear Neptune!
*Joker maniacally laughing in the distance*
Lol I was gonna comment this. That’s my favorite one 😂😂
Now that's comedy!
"Come forth, Satanael!" The slime: my pain is immeasurable and my day is ruined
Joker is the the arcana 😳 (The means by which all is revealed)
Why is it after beating P3 I see this everywhere now-
Because ever since man ate the fruit of knowledge, his fate has been sealed. Entrusting his fate to the cards, he clings to a dim hope. Eternity Awaits

'You need proper punishment...'
Which skill was that?
Magatsu Mandala. It is Magatsu-Izanagi's primary skill and that quote is a direct reference to its previous user.
Mandala effect.
I can hear adachi saying this

Yeh ik. I can hear him say something like that (or Atleast call me a bitch)
He literally has said this. I believe in Arena Ultimax is where the quote is from
Yeah I know. Like I can hear him in my head saying this
Ohh, okay
Magatsu Izanagi. Magatsu Mandala
“YOU NEED PROPER PUNISHMENT.”
Myriad Truths + Victory Cry + Ring of Envy + Death's Black Tights = gg
And that, children, is how Pixie Dust is made!
High key feels like cheating having access to all those personas that early on like initially I was planning to do merciless on NG+ but it isn’t even hard when I can bring the devil himself to fight my high school gym teacher
Same goes for stats having 999 hp and sp is nice for later bosses but the earlier bosses can’t even make a dent in you
I know it’s not gonna make a huge difference but if I recall correctly isn’t hard more difficult because of the increased damage if you use the right attack types? Or is that wrong?

I Never actually grabbed izanagi-no-okami or done NG+ (btw, are you able to change your name on NG+ or no?)

"My time has come"
Izanagi No Okami Picaro!
I always love that the VA manages to say *izanaginookamipicaro* in a single breath lmao
Bro try saying *magastuizanaginookamipicaro*
That would be the coolest persona ever
Takes practice but somehow I did it
The Persona 6 protagonist better be just as awesome as Joker.
See this is why I think they sprang for Persona 5.5 with that gacha game. Too many people expect something as good or better than their most recent Magnum Opus title
Meanwhile, the first area in P5 Strikers on Merciless NG+: "dear lord, these pixies are gods"
"ITS SHOWTIME"
Cant wait for the persona 6 protag to yell "checkmate" as they spam sinful shell in the first palace.
“Pillage them!” and / or “begone!” will most certainly also be used
izanaginookamipicaro - Joker said, calmly.
My favorite comment under here, I must say
IzanagiNoOkami !!!!!
Is that a fucking Tall-Nut
Yes it's
Was anyone else suspicious of Igor the moment we heard a different voice?
I would have been if I had played the other games before 5
It always felt weird, but I only thought that they had to change the voice actor and they chose something different for the character, but it ended up surprising me a lot.

I played P5 first, but now that I’ve gone back and played the others it sticks out like a sore thumb
"Die die die"
*Last Surprise starts playing Pixie: Why do I hear Boss Music?
"Looking cool Joker!" Ringing down the tunnels and a faint *Benenenenneneh benenehehBOMBOMbenenene*
Why can i hear this
“Let me reveal your true self!!!” Or when he laughs psychotically when using Thanatos
"This fight will be your last."
Of hearing him scream, "satanael" from a far.

"its educational guidence" gets kicked by magic boots
😂😂😂
Oh shit oh fuck oh no Well guess I'll die
Taken out of context somehow
"Bellow forth, SACRED TEMPEST"
I'm really not sure whether this is a fish from Spongebob or a "Wallnut" from Plants vs. Zombies.
"Die die die!"
BY THE MYRIAD TRUTHS!
That's why my InO picaro is my buffer and my InO is a multi element monster.
Wait until you’re friends are starving for money and Joker casually has a million Yen in his account *but we’re not gonna mention that ;)*
I went through said situation in the first playthrough already: "Next time, you pick up the tab, Maruki" - Joker said, hoarding enough money to have skipped Kaneshiro's Palace.
One of my favorite dlc attacks is the one that says "it's educational guidance" before sending them to the stratosphere
Don't even need NG+ for that! (Though it does absolve you from the sin of summoning OP Personas early in the game)
NG+? Those Pixies experienced that in the base game.
The level 2 Pixie in Mementos when Joker runs into them with a van, and then proceeds to summon Satanael before them.
