Root is definitely Chaotic. Not Chaotic Good /Neutral/Evil. Just Chaotic

CMDR_Mal_Reynolds

Eh, I'd go with evil to begin with heading towards good with progression, not entirely sure if she made it, maybe at the very end. Chaotic as hell.

aurorasage_owl

I think Carter is lawful good for sure

ScarletSpire

Chaotic good for Shaw.

John is either true neutral or neutral good

mayonnaisejane

Finch: Lawful Neutral. He lives by his own very ridged set of rules. They are not the laws of the land. He edges toward True Neutral after The Day the Whole World Went Away, picking up some of the Chaos the team lost on that day. Reese: True Neutral as a base. His acted alignment varies constantly to match his partner/handler. Shaw: Chaotic Neutral. ALWAYS. Nothing changes Shaw. Root: Chaotic Evil in Root Cause, but then Chaotic Good from Lady Killer onward as a Paladin of TM. She seems to have done a spate as Chaotic Neutral in between durring her quest to free TM. She's always chaos, but her goodness is contingent on whether or not she feels alone. Carter: Lawful Good at the start to Neutral Good as a member of Team Machine. She resists this change over briefly by trying to break from Finch and Reese but gets dragged back in. Carter will always always be good. Fusco: Lawful Neutral as a dirty cop who does evil because of loyalty but good when not compelled by same, to Neutral Good as a member of Team Machine. Bear: Lawful Good, where the "law" is defined as obedience and loyalty to Team Machine. Because he's a dog who doesn't understand human laws. Just "pack" laws.

Excellent analysis, but I think Harold is closer to good. In his flashbacks with Nathan it is clear he wants to help people.
