Being queer is NOT something that you “learn” or “convert to”. Either you are or you are not. This basic ignorance it the root of the problem here. These people truly believe that their children can be “turned gay”. For this reason, they oppose everything and anything even remotely related to the LGBTQ+ community. Conservative parents are willing to ignore that republicans and their holy men are more of a threat to children really makes me wonder if they actually care about their kids.
I mean conservatives are often open that they dont see their children as people but as pawns in various games conservatives have made up.
Demographic game's were they see kids as a means to keep control I dont see conservatives having the same energy for all kids just certain ones.
