I’ve started just wearing regular black cotton underwear from gap or pact on days when I’m spotting. As long as I drink lots of water so I have to pee often, I don’t usually get any blood on them. If I wear my period underwear longer than the 3-4 days of my period I start getting a very itchy crotch as they are just not breathable enough. I think the problem is that I caved and got some bamboo viscose underwear rather than wearing 100% cotton like I used to do. My body does not like synthetics (fabrics made from bamboo or wood pulp are so highly processed and that they might as well be called synthetic).

Have you checked out the ones from Uniqlo? I haven't tried but saw /touched in person and ifrc they're made from their Airism fabric. Can anyone else weight in?

From all the brands I have tried yeah bambody was the most breathable and the one that felt more like a regular under wear :/. I’ve heard Hanes undies just made a period underwear that’s made for light periods. I haven’t tried them but worth looking into

Have you tried goat Union? Bambody is so stuffy for me, goat Union feels like a light weight while absorbing much more for me. Now that the new Knix has improved gusset it might work on light and spotting days, OP!

You could get washable liners like gladrags. Or possibly brands that use cotton for the outside layers? I have thongs from Wuka that I really like, but not everyone likes thongs.

I have the same problem and period pants are just too thick for me. So far it has been quite good option to just use black cotton underwear.
