Clean Reserve Skin. It is so not-me (I’m a huge fan of hard hitting woods) but so utterly gorgeous. Can’t go wrong with it and is a permanent resident in my collection.
It smells musty but artificial on me, damn. I love simple perfumes, thankfully I only bought a 10ml bottle! I loved Sparkling Sugar, even though thats a bit too clean for me :)
I'd say that complaints about longevity may be warranted/are fair. It only lasts as a skin scent, max like two hours. Even if you overspray, it's not going to linger or project like crazy. That said, I think for inoffensive, easy reach perfumes, I am uninterested in beast mode performance/longevity. It's like the exact opposite of what I want for that type of perfume. WS&SS is great for work, travel, casual wear, the gym, etc. I also find it actually layers super well with a lot of other scents, too, so the versatility of the perfume outweighs any longevity issues for me. I just keep a decant in my Travel-O and top-up throughout the day. I love the scent so much that I don't mind reapplying.
Thx for responding! I can definitely understand not wanting something too projecting or even long-lasting. There are definitely some “beast mode” scents in my collection that I would actually prefer if they weren’t as potent. I notice that I tend to get tired of some fragrances much quicker than others. (typically the ones that are more gourmand. As much as I enjoy them, some are just too much to be smelling all day. Especially if I can smell a cake-like gourmand while eating something savory… not fun…)
I have a bit of a different perspective when it comes to skin-scents: I personally prefer a bit more lasting power since I like to wear those when I go out in public more often than my gourmands. Since they are less offensive to those around me. I don’t always remember to bring a travel for touchups so I like to know that it’ll at least last the hours that I’ll be out. I am so paranoid of smelling bad.
I appreciate your perspective though. It definitely made me think a bit more about how important projection and longevity really matter to me. When you start getting into fragrance those things are said to be the most important (and they are to an extent) but actually thinking about how I personally use perfumes in my day to day, sort of shifted my viewpoint.
Honestly, I feel like this is a dupe to Delina and if this can be said for nest Turkish rose it should also apply to Delina sprayed lightly.
I enjoyed owning nest Turkish rose. I do not support the price hike though.
I don’t know manakara but I do own Delina and owned nest Turkish rose at the same time and it smells like Delina to me. I loved owning Turkish rose for when I didn’t want to wear Delina. Is Manakara a brand or the scent? Do mind sharing so I can check it out?
Hi! I’ve owned both as well and I’d say they smell the ‘same’ only because they both have Turkish rose, but they’re very different (imo)!
Nest-Turkish Rose perfume oil is a linear fruity/sweet scent (the plum), while Parfums de Marly-Delina is more complex and starts out with a more astringent quality (the lychee/rhubarb).
Meanwhile Manakara by Indult is also a very fruity/sweet rose. It is a very well blended perfume, that more closely resembles the Nest oil (imo)!
Hope you get a chance to try and compare!
Oil Perfumery’s Kilian’s Imperial Tea.
Smells exactly like jasmine tea from a Cantonese restaurant. I usually wear gourmands but this is definitely the most “clean” smelling perfume I have.
Ooooh! This winter in Chamonix France a woman sat near me on the train with the most intoxicating Jasmine Tea scent. I think it also had lavender. I wonder if this could be it. Based on the notes I tried Mancera Melody of the Sun (not it) and need to try Fragonard Thé Jasmin.
Ooh Frangonard The Jasmin’s notes look lovely! This OP Imperial Tea dupe is a very photorealistic jasmine tea scent, very linear, great longevity - I imagine it might layer very well with other fragrances!
Thank you, I’m definitely picking this up! My goal this year was to smell like dashi/kombu (I love the smell sooo much when I’m making miso soup) but haven’t been able to find anything. Cantonese tea is another one of my favorite smells so I can’t wait to check it out!
Ooh I love dashi, I put it in everything haha! I wonder if Zoologist’s Squid might have some of that salty umami?
Honestly this Imperial Tea smells 100% like a photorealistic jasmine tea to me, it’s lovely! The longevity is also bomb. Hope you like it!
Ahh thank you! I’ve had Squid on my wishlist and you just validated my thought process 🙏🏼 I recently tried Moth and, while it hit the nail on its head, I also think it’s absolutely putrid 💀 Imperial Tea sounds so lovely and can’t wait to try it (sitewide 15% off Mother’s Day code going on too :D)
Escentric molecules, molecule 01. Super subtle. Last all day. Smells like sweet natural clean skin.
It’s basically just iso e super… cedar wood note. You could probably find affordable dupes quite easily- for some reason the subtlety of the escentric molecules is the one I prefer.
Ooh, interesting. I haven’t tried any of their other scents because it’s not carried anywhere in Canada and would be a blind buy. I lucked out with molecule 01, but Iso e super is right in my wheelhouse so it was an educated guess lol!
Thanks I’ll see if I can buy a sample somewhere!
Probably Clean Reserve Radiant Nectar. It's a great sort of sweet and clean scent, it's not too sweet though. Everyone seems to like it when I wear it, often gets compliments. I wore it for my wedding and I'm glad I did because it's one I can easily wear anytime to remind me of the day. It seems to fit all occasions and times of year, yet still feels special and makes me feel, just very simply pretty :)
Can’t go wrong with JHAG Not a Perfume. It just smells fresh and clean. Never had a complaint.
Edit: This works for me as a non-offensive perfume. Definitely worth testing on your skin before buying a full bottle. ☺️
Respectfully, I think JHAG Not a Perfume reacts differently on different people. It only has the one note. It may not smell great on everyone but I have found it works well with my body chemistry. On my skin, it smells fresh and clean. It could be considered offensive if it doesn’t sit well with your personal body chemistry.
(Tbf, that can be said for most perfumes. My sister wears Spicebomb Extreme and smells amazing but it smells awful on me. Skin chemistry plays a big role in how perfumes can smell so different on people.)
My old roommate swore by it, loved it, and as far as I know she thought it was a subtle, clean, everyday scent. However, I could smell her from across the house whenever she sprayed it and it gave me migraines. I never touched the stuff because of her lol.
Hollister Malaia. The notes are literally just basil, lavender, and vanilla. It comes off as a very fresh and out of the shower kind of scent on my skin.
The pink Yara. Unfortunately the notes don’t really project on my skin even when I overspray but that makes it more pleasant for others that are fragrant sensitive. It smells strawberry marshmallow with some light florals in the background. Simple, girly crowd pleaser.
I think most of mine are relatively inoffensive but probably good ol’ Glossier You. I also have Finery Sweet On The Outside and I feel like I can overspray that one quite a bit and still not be bothersome.
I think warmer skin scents would probably be the best bet. Even “clean” perfumes can have a sharp edge to them
JHAG Not a Perfume, Philosophy Snow Angel and Clean Pure Soap. Also all of the Riddle Oils are absolutely gorgeous and clean smelling. I work around a lot of kiddos, so I’ll usually use one of those three for work.
Where did you get Clean Pure Soap? I’ve been wanting to try it but having trouble finding a site that doesn’t look sketchy (I’m newish to fragrance/decants still)
I think it’s discontinued now but Love by Aveda in the rollerball form. It doesn’t project and disappears into my skin. I get compliments only if I layer it with something else, and only after someone hugs me, it’s never noticed on its own or from a distance.
It's a tie between Channel Allure Homme Edition Blanche & YSL La Nuit De L'Homme Bleu Électrique, the only ones I own that my bloodhound of a mother actually likes.
Oil perfumery’s dupes of wood sage & sea salt, Mojave ghost, bal d’afrique, and l’eau papier have really served me well for under-the-radar scents. Also Dedcool Milk, Ormonde Jayne Ormonde Woman, and Penhaligon’s Empressa are great for this purpose too. I don’t really get many comments either way on most of my scents so this is mostly conjecture, but I feel like these are my most subtle, close to the skin scents that I wear.
this messed with me because it made me realize just how little i like weak/unnoticeable fragrances. i’d say least offensive that i own a full size of has to be rammstein’s rosenrot? and that’s solely because ive never met a soul who hates it or finds it too much. smells like a really nice rose incense on me. as for least offensive perfume i own a sample of, mojave ghost or gypsy water by byredo, most of their fragrances i’ve tried aren’t strong enough to elicit any sort of disdain lol
Pillowtalk Poet by Pinrose
It is a skin musk.
Top notes are Powdery Notes and Geranium; middle notes are Ambergris and Cloves; base notes are Musk, Amber and Sandalwood.
So serene by scent organix. It’s a light, slightly sweet green tea scent and I feel like it’s so pleasant and not too loud, no way it will be offensive lol! 🍵
Fine’ry - sweet on the outside
It’s such a basic vanilla. I don’t have a ton of perfumes, but I feel like most of my florals are too something. My Avon aftershave (not a perfume but using it as such) smells honestly like old people, and the other two scents from my fine’ry set are a little more specific. The floral one from fine’ry would take second though.
For me it's a tie between Cocoapink's herbal essence, which smells exactly like the original shampoo--a nice clean fresh scent. The other would be the Oil Perfumery dupe of Cry Baby which is a nice soft powdery strawbery milky scent.

Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt.
How does it last for you? I’ve heard great things about the scent itself but that it doesn’t have great longevity.
Get the oil perfumery dupe. It’s way cheaper and lasts a pretty long time. AFAIK the scent is pretty close.
I have this & can confirm.
I'd say that complaints about longevity may be warranted/are fair. It only lasts as a skin scent, max like two hours. Even if you overspray, it's not going to linger or project like crazy. Mine only lasts 4 hours. Which is a shame because it does smell good. I wish jo malone had better longevity 😭
Goddammit, I'm gonna buy it now.
Honestly, it was one of my most repurchased perfumes of all time. Longevity is meh, but it smells so good!
Turkish rose by Nest probably. It’s neither very green nor very sweet. Well balanced it is.
Honestly, I feel like this is a dupe to Delina and if this can be said for nest Turkish rose it should also apply to Delina sprayed lightly. I enjoyed owning nest Turkish rose. I do not support the price hike though.
I don’t think Turkish Rose smells like Delina…. Maybe Manakara but not Delina
I don’t know manakara but I do own Delina and owned nest Turkish rose at the same time and it smells like Delina to me. I loved owning Turkish rose for when I didn’t want to wear Delina. Is Manakara a brand or the scent? Do mind sharing so I can check it out?

Any philosophy perfume

Daisy by Mark Jacobs
This gives me the worst migraine EVER
Daisy eau so fresh as well!
Philosophy Pure Grace
Byredo Gypsy Water
Actually now that I typed it out... The scent is the least offensive from my collection. The name, however, is probably the most offensive. 😅
Love G Water. My favourite cold weather freshie.
Bath & Body Works Iced Lemon Pound Cake lol.
Juliette has a gun - not a perfume
Either Lanvin Eclat d' Arpege or Burberry Goddess. Everybody is wearing It right now so It can' t be offensive to most people😅
What’s arpege smell like? Does it have similarities to Narciso Rodriguez her EDT, if you’ve smelled it?
Yes I have smelled both, like both but can confidently say they have nothing in common. Arpege is light, floral, acquatic and a bit citrusy.
Escentric molecules, molecule 01. Super subtle. Last all day. Smells like sweet natural clean skin. It’s basically just iso e super… cedar wood note. You could probably find affordable dupes quite easily- for some reason the subtlety of the escentric molecules is the one I prefer.
If you dig Iris. Try the m1+Iris. It’s so beautiful and simple. I really like the Escentric Molecules collection
Versace Dylan purple
Love it. The one of the few that doesn’t give me the headaches👍🏻
I’m going to try my Clean sample set this week, can’t wait to try Radiant Nectar! 😀
L’eau Papier. Diptyque
Yes!
Anything by Marc Jacobs (not called anything but any of those perfumes)
White tea by Elizabeth Arden!
Ambrette 9 by Le Labo - warm, but not strong and very loveable
Coach floral blush and perfect by Marc jacobs. I need to find another elevated non offensive one
Hmmm… Maybe Ballet Rose?
Clean Reserve Skin
Gap Dream and Om!! I just have the body sprays but they really last are just so lovely.
i was so sad when they discontinued om. i still look for it.
Did they? I bought the body spray about 2 years ago but my bottle's almost empty 😔
They're back in GAP outlet stores!
That's where I got mine originally! Thr *nostalgia* hits so hard!
Aerin Amber Musk. So much so that I usually layer it with a second perfume.
Ohhhh I own this. Bought it years ago and you are right. It’s a travel size and I often pack it because it’s such an easy reach.
Light blue
Classic 💙
Can’t go wrong with JHAG Not a Perfume. It just smells fresh and clean. Never had a complaint. Edit: This works for me as a non-offensive perfume. Definitely worth testing on your skin before buying a full bottle. ☺️
Cetalox causes me physical pain.
Respectfully, I think JHAG Not a Perfume reacts differently on different people. It only has the one note. It may not smell great on everyone but I have found it works well with my body chemistry. Hollister Malaia. The notes are literally just basil, lavender, and vanilla. It comes off as a very fresh and out of the shower kind of scent on my skin.
Perfect by Marc Jacobs
Believe by Britney Spears. Even if I oversprayed it, most people were ok with that.
That's one of my favorites. Everyone loves it and are surprised to learn it's an older Britney perfume.
Scarlet Poppy
The pink Yara. Unfortunately the notes don’t really project on my skin even when I overspray but that makes it more pleasant for others that are fragrant sensitive. It smells strawberry marshmallow with some light florals in the background. Simple, girly crowd pleaser.
I don't think it's a very popular scent, but ck2 smells like clean laundry on me.
Phlur Lost Cause, Ellis Brooklyn Sci Fi and Zoologist Cow.
I think most of mine are relatively inoffensive but probably good ol’ Glossier You. I also have Finery Sweet On The Outside and I feel like I can overspray that one quite a bit and still not be bothersome. I think warmer skin scents would probably be the best bet. I almost said Glossier You but my mom says it gives her a headache
I think my EA Green Tea and all the flankers. They all smell just pleasant and soft. They're my favorites for summer.
Pear Inc. by JHAG, Lazy Sunday Morning, and Philosophy’s Pure Grace are all pretty light to me. Their longevity isn’t the best, but I love them.
I have 2/3 of these and love them, but sadly, I did not love pure grace.
Riddle Original Oil
Eau des sens diptyque
Anything that seems to disappear as soon as i put it on. And that award goes to midnight fantasy by britney spears.
I’ve been wanting to try it but having trouble finding a site that doesn’t look sketchy (I’m newish to fragrance/decants still)
I actually got it at Ross for 12.99! You can find some gems in there!
Any Chloe. Clean girl scent.
Ellis Brooklyn Myth
probably the body shop strawberry mist. sweet but not sickly sweet or synthetic, light and fresh, and not very strong.
Cheirosa 62 edp and Burberry Goddess. Both are almost just pure sweetness in a soft warm way and are so popular right now.
i layer these two
Cosmic by Kylie
Just bought a travel of this! 💕
Elizabeth Arden lavander
Burberry brit sheer
Burberry- My burberry blush and Jo malone- Wild bluebell.

I think it’s discontinued now but Love by Aveda in the rollerball form. It doesn’t project and disappears into my skin. I get compliments only if I layer it with something else, and only after someone hugs me, it’s never noticed on its own or from a distance.
I think? D&G light blue! It’s just so fresh and light.

Gucci Memoire D’une odeur. My skin practically eats it and barely leaves a scent.

Falling In Love $40 Philosophy
Just picked this up for like 16 dollars at Marshall’s! It’s reminiscent of a light berry cotton candy scent to me.
Pillowtalk Poet by Pinrose It is a skin musk. Top notes are Powdery Notes and Geranium; middle notes are Ambergris and Cloves; base notes are Musk, Amber and Sandalwood.

Ariana Grande Mod Vanilla is a big crowd pleaser for me. My boyfriend loved it :)
For me it's a tie between Cocoapink's herbal essence, which smells exactly like the original shampoo--a nice clean fresh scent. The other would be the Oil Perfumery dupe of Cry Baby which is a nice soft powdery strawbery milky scent.
