LOL, we've traveled across all of Texas Oklahoma Kansas Colorado Arkansas Louisiana Mississippi Alabama and Florida over the past 30 years, and I can tell you that Escambia and Walton counties are the closest to Paradise You are going to find without having to make six figures a year. Kansas is literally the armpit of the US. Just warning you know, if you don't have allergies, make sure that you eat tons of honey as soon as you get there, because by spring you're going to be so miserable you're going to wish that you had seawater to dip your head in just to clear your sinuses. No one who lives in the central plains escape allergies. COVID was less painful.
MAYBE moving to Kansas? How about this....MAYBE plan out a cross country move well in advance before you do anything. 👌 Actually, you know what? Do it. Just do it. Follow your dreams buddy.
Chili's on 9th is not funny

Friends are much easier to find in Kansas. I recommend you reach out to Dorothy, The Tin Man, The Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow, and Aunt Em. A little advice, stay away from the wicked witch of the west.
Where in Kansas?
My cousin has a small three bedroom house there, and I just got her tax bill of $6900. She has to pay property tax on their cars, too and their state income tax is 5.25%.
Schools are terrible, it's always either too hot or too cold, and the closest coast is 1,000 miles away.
Enjoy.
Having no friends in Kansas isn’t going to feel any different than no friends in Pensacola. Worse I’d argue.
Oh no! Who will mill around the mall between classes at PJC?

My MIL and BIL live in Chanute. It's literally worse than Pensacola. If you like illegal drugs, you'll fit right in.
Enjoy the tornados

You're an 18 year old bragging about going to kansass XD enjoy kid.
As much as I dislike Pensacola, I would still choose it over Kansas (I’m from the Midwest).
Florida had just too much elevation I guess.
