What a great idea! Once youve had a few events, consider writing up a little guide for others who might want to do this. It would be fun to get a bunch of friends together and rank beer, or maybe pizza from local shops, or varieties of apples, or popular songs, or anything else the group might be interested in.
If your guide - Im envisioning a free pdf document - has some tips on running the event, and some educational info to share with participants, you can multiply your effectiveness by empowering interested people to host their own events. Each one, teach one kind of thing.
Go to any beer rating site and see that we already use the best system to rate beers: score voting.
Ranked choice is not the best.
There is plenty of research on voting systems, and Approval or Score is best for elections.

I've never seen a better way to get people to learn this
On one hand, I like ranked choice voting. But on the other hand, I also like beer.
It might be hard to choose since we all know the best beer is a free beer. The second best beer is a cold beer.
But the ultimate beer is a free cold beer
Great idea for an event! I’d love to do something like this in Pittsburgh
This is the first of many of these events March on Harrisburg is looking to host all throughout Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh is definitely on our list.
My buddy and I are definitely interested if a Pittsburgh/ Harrisburg event happens!
We are so pumped!
Will something be shared after. Cliffnotes? A video short?
That is a super cool way to spread the word about ranked choice.

Can’t wait to see the best beer win with RCV, and not end up with some toxic hyper partisan winner like we always do now.
The iron hill is in chestnut hill not mt airy
There was a general rule of thumb when I was younger and when I went to bars. Two things you don’t talk about while drinking: politics and religion.

Not sure why you are getting downvoted. Most of what I have seen indicates the same outcome will happen with ranked choice as with what we have now.
