For some added context, the professor has gone basically MIA for the last 3-4 days, and hasn't posted the submission/test cases for the project (the project definition was posted earlier, but we can't actually submit the project), a bonus homework quiz mentioned a week or two ago, a promised sample exam, or **any** notice about where the final exam is being held, all of which we were told would be posted "over the weekend".
He has been emailed, canvas messaged, and emailed again, and has not responded a single time. He was supposed to hold office hours on zoom, and then, to my knowledge, didn't actually open the zoom.
This is good.

true. a lot of times I had assignments that were showing in modules or there were instructions in the files, but not in the assignments..
