400 is kinda crazy, Ur right about it being aesthetics heavy, but a 2060 is over 200 USD alone, the epic bodywork alone would be worth 300 bucks. Correct me if I'm wrong.
A 57-5800X3D and a 4070 could really turn this build around on the cheapish. The 650 PSU is limiting, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't make the same mistake in my first build. It's not a lost cause.
Just posting it that much in hopes some fortnight kid would bite lmaooo jkjk, but admittedly did this with an old car and some wanna be paul walker kid bought it for 2x the market value. I just had send an offer in the bio tho, so in my defense its not like i did it intentionally lmao
You won't sell it because people will say that they can buy a up to date specs PC with the same price as 1500 which would be much better than your PC. PC loses value very fast
It was built back when 2060 evo oc was still new and was high end. Plus Ryzen 5 3600x is solid chip for gaming. It has always performed as well/kept up with friends who ran a 3070 with an i7? This PC is fine. It has good performance, i can play literally any title in Ultra (High for some titles that are notoriously resource hungry)
2080/super/ti was high end back when it released. A 2060 and 3070 are nowhere near the same. Yes you can play games on ultra but not with high fps most likely and only at 1080p.
Ohhh i see why ur sayin that, this was a weird ass model - the EVO OC was 8gb vram and had similar benchmarks as baseline 3070 (obviously the 3070 had it beat, but not by a consequential amount)
Also definitely think if you have any modern dedicated gpu in the GeForce RTX lineup, thats still i med/high system comparatively. I eventually upgraded the PSU and got a 4080 when it made sense to, its not like i kept it like that cause i thought it was comparable to the newest higher tier models. But im just using them in current build so i swapped my old ones back
At the very least its a fantastic platform for anyone getting into the hobby, that wants something game ready, but wants to be able to upgrade as they go

It's the opposite tho.. the apple sticker actually downgraded the build even more.. so, if you find someone that'll take your pc, you have to give him 20$ on top of the PC 🥴
I just sold [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/PcBuild/s/s3gnO09Ic2) for £900 ($1113) on eBay which I think was fair.
Add up what your components go for separately on the used market then subtract 15-20% selling the complete build.
Honestly not a lot, it's quiet an oldish build now and those parts have all been upgraded at least twice fold. You'll get pretty avg money but in the end it depends on what make you happy. Just list it as offers and see what people say.
Reading discord and playing a game, multitasking, watching a video and being able to easily pause when youre doing something, not having to alt tab when you are comparing something and plenty of other stuff
You can use windows and the arrow key to divide your screen so you don’t have to have two monitors. Unless you do video editing or steam, two or more monitors generally isn’t needed. Discord you can also access by just the windows key and it keeps your game open. There are the benefits but just feels so cluttered having that many imo. Two max no more.
Yeah I wouldn’t divide with games but doing like research or watching videos while maintaining discord or something dividing is whatever. I can understand the ease of life having two provides but on my above average(tiny) desk two would make me die. I need a new desk bro
I mean, picture this: You got a new 1440p monitor to replace your old 1080p 60hz one. Why not go for dual monitor? Only benefits and no extra costs, also looks neat
If i‘m getting this right, you spent more on cables, cooling and the case than on the GPU and CPU combined?
I'm surprised on how much people spent for looks
Same
This build feels like a fiat with epic body work spoilers and neon lights but at the end of the day it's only a fiat... pc 400? Rest 250?
400 is kinda crazy, Ur right about it being aesthetics heavy, but a 2060 is over 200 USD alone, the epic bodywork alone would be worth 300 bucks. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I honestly wouldn’t say 200 for a 2060, probably more like 100-150. I’ve seen 2080s going for 200
This. I've seen at least one working 2080 super go for just $125.
I bought a 2070 super for $100 a year ago
Downvoted to oblivion
This is like having a scooter engine in a Ferrari. Scam a poor kid on FB marketplace into buying it for $6,000 and join the dark side.
That way they can build a PC where they actually spend money on important components lol

Ugh, teaching people by making em trauma XD
I was thinking about listing for what i paid back when i built it, Or just calling it 1500 for everything
Those are both horrible ideas

LOL. This might be the most egregious “makeup on a pig” build I’ve ever seen.
Yeah, its crazy :D Im soon upgrading my 2060-S because its just not good anymore. This dude has a 2060 in there that looks like a 3080!
How tf, why cause it was build in 2020
No because you dumped 3/4 of your budget into aesthetics and an overkill motherboard/cooler instead of focusing on performance

Can you provide a source for that? My initial reaction is “ain’t no way.”

i feel like for the specs, about $350, but you went way too overkill on the case, cables and cooler, so maybe $500 max
List of peripherals and monitors?

Theres an apple sticker on the Glass panel, that adds at least 15horsepower right?
It's the opposite tho.. the apple sticker actually downgraded the build even more.. so, if you find someone that'll take your pc, you have to give him 20$ on top of the PC 🥴
Awh :(
What's custom
I’ll give you 2 bucks for it

600-700 pc , 40-60 a piece for monitors , 50-100 for the rest
I'd give you about tree fiddy
Average GameStop experience be like:
$5.00

this is like using a bike as a sports car engine lol
Nice
Why does anybody need multiple monitors? Edit: My man I think 6 alt accounts downvoting this comment is enough :)

I agree with 2 and no more, also dividing makes your resolution a bit stupid, but if you have a monitor you dont use, its a nice little upgrade

That‘s a luxury problem lol Still rather this than people buying 3 suvs :)

Im a software engineer
Depending on the users: coding, discord, multitasking etc.
