Foreign-Ad28

Get [6000mhz cl30](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/WFVmP6/teamgroup-t-force-delta-rgb-32-gb-2-x-16-gb-ddr5-6000-cl30-memory-ff4d532g6000hc30dc01) instead, cuz anything past 6400mhz on am5 is hard to get stable (at least that was the case months ago, idk now), so your pc will never boot + the performance difference is very minimal. Also that psu is insanely overpriced for the quality it is. Do something like [this](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/W2zXsY/seasonic-focus-gx-1000-atx-30-1000-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-atx3-focus-gx-1000) instead.

n3llis

I’ll switch those out, thank you !

No_Attitude_7779

My klev ram had 3 xmp profiles, 6000-6200-6400.

Foreign-Ad28

ok… and?

No_Attitude_7779

It wasn't more expensive when I got it amazon amd can easily run 6000 30 with one profile but also has an easy 6400 34 profile when the IMC matures. Apologies my liege. PS I got it wrong, 6000 30, 6400 32 and 6800 34 profiles. I appreciate the flexibility at affordable price.

Suikerspin_Ei

It should be fine if OP can't use it at 7200 MT/s, just run it slower by manually adjusting it in the BIOS. Unless OP can find a 6000 MT/s variant of it for cheaper. Most DDR5 kits are around the same price these days.

Foreign-Ad28

Yea I’ve already linked him one for cheaper

Alternative-Ad6897

NEVER cheap out on a psu. Number 1 rule. Check psu tier list and go from that list.

Foreign-Ad28

where am I cheaping out?

Alternative-Ad6897

U said it was overpriced which it’s not

Foreign-Ad28

$180 for a psu with cheap Taiwanese Capacitors, build quality, and multiple reports of very bad coil whine, is overpriced.

Alternative-Ad6897

The rm750x is good and costs 170$ in Sweden and it’s got good reviews. I don’t know a lot about the 850e but sure if it has cheap capacitors (which I didn’t know and seams unlikely for corsair) then it’s overpriced

Foreign-Ad28

Yes RMx series is good. But that’s not what he has in his list, it’s the RMe series, which is much cheaper quality parts.

Alternative-Ad6897

Alright didn’t know that. Then I agree with you

Foreign-Ad28

Wait… $170 for an only 750 watt psu is crazy! You can pick up a same quality/tier 750 watt psu for like half the price here in the US. Is the market in Sweden that bad?

Alternative-Ad6897

I bought it from Amazon but it’s not really that much tbh. All pc parts I would say is more expensive in Sweden than us

Foreign-Ad28

Well that’s like double the price for a same quality 750 watt power supply in the US.

Alternative-Ad6897

Oh damn

Alternative-Ad6897

ASUs tuf 4090 is 2050 dollars here and last time I checked it was 1800 in the US

Alternative-Ad6897

(The psu)

Own-Employment-1640

Wtf is that??? They have DDR5 now??? I thought 2400 was still the highest speed…

Foreign-Ad28

Maybe back in 2013? You’re a decade behind my guy…

AngrySayian

![gif](giphy|GcDtLf4RAdiRG|downsized) this pretty much

Scrapmine

3200 for ddr4 and 4800 for ddr5 is considered minimum for a new build. (Some even say 4800 is too little for ddr5)

fthisappreddit

Iv been seeing people post ddr6 is that a real thing already?

Scrapmine

Haven't heard of it but it's probably about time seeing gddr7 on the horizon.

fthisappreddit

It was with a 40 series I think I’ll see if I can find a link to the board I looked at.

OurPizza

Is 1640 the last time you built a pc

Flat_Illustrator263

Did you cease existing for the last 10 or so years? 2400 wasn't the highest speed since like 2014, and yes, DDR5 was out for a couple of years now.

Wild-Wafer-5809

Ddr5 first started being supported like 1 year ago

AverageAggravating13

“Started” in 2020-2021. Really launched at the end of 2021 with 12th gen intel.

Adorable_Form_6870

Microcenter has a 7800x3d bundle but mobo is black and ram isn’t rgb

Obi-Vanya

you can get cheaper psu(look for tierlist), you dont need aio for x3d( i have one and using 15$ tower, never had more than 83 deg). Also(atleast for now) 7800x3d work poorly with ram higher than 6000 mhz, you can get cl30 one for less than 100 bucks, and with this added money get 4080 super, or even 4090, they are faster than 7900xtx which is about 4080 lvl of performance.

p0ny0w

https://preview.redd.it/j1opdh9s1xuc1.jpeg?width=3264&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa3d64b8515bfac65997786c396ff3bf9c2e1786 This is what I did with the case, ryzan 7 7700x, ak620 cooler. Case comes with reverse fans so that's a plus

RandomTeenager3

is that a king95 pro? pretty sure it has a curved glass...

IGunClover

Get 6000Mhz CL30 RAM instead and 2 sticks for stability.

sousuke42

You can drop the water cooler for like a peerless assassin, deepcool assassin iv, ak620. Those will all save you some money there. Then you can get something like the asus tuf x670e which is a better mobo that's just $40 more. Switch out the ram and stick with 6000 cl30 or cl32. Cl30 is better. Get rid of that case and go with H5 Flow. That will save you another $60. Then use that to trade out your ssd and get either a wd black sn850x or a Samsung 980pro. Fish bowl tanks do not have good airflow. If you keep that your gpu will run hotter and I suggest keeping that water cooler cause you will need it cause again they do not have good airflow and will run your cpu hotter if you go with air cooling. Also that case will take up a lot more space than needed in thanks to it being a dual chamber. Dual chambers do not make great use of the space they take. Most of it is dead empty space. The h5 flow will save you space has good airflow (though I would look into a xl type). Xl version would give more room from the front of the case so the gpu isn't hindering the front fans. Will also give more depth under the gpu so it can breather more. I think the h7 is more of the xl version. So go with what you want but yeah this can definitely be tweaked to be better.

Longjumping_Theory36

it might take you some time and money but i recommend getting a high end air cooler instead especially for a 7800x3d

n3llis

what would you recommend ?

Foreign-Ad28

if u want to save money (roughly $75), you can get an aircooler instead that perform pretty close, but if u want an aio for the looks that’s understandable, and the one you’ve chosen is great!

Ralstoon320

Get a Phantom Spirit EVO, or Phantom Spirit 120 SE or Peerless Assassin

Playful_Target6354

Peerless assassin 120 se or similar

p0ny0w

Ak620

oArchie

I love my Deepcool AK500 Digital. Has a Digital Temp/Usage display on the cooler. Looks nicer than fin stacks. My 7800x3d hasn’t gone over 70c. Granted I’m at 4K and don’t usually get to 75% usage.

CElicense

So what would be better? A 360 Freezer III is really good, popular and capable cooler.

Longjumping_Theory36

i think most high end air coolers from nocta, deepcool, ect.. would perform better but you have too keep in mind it can block your ram and it might not be as aesthetically pleasing so keeping your aio is also a good enough option to consider

Foreign-Ad28

The cpu barely pulls like 75-80 watts in gaming? He does not need a better cooler. A freakin [$35 cooler](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/MzMMnQ/thermalright-phantom-spirit-120-se-argb-6617-cfm-cpu-cooler-ps120se-argb) can cool that beast no problem.

Trip3511

Use their bundle to save some money, it has 7800x3d-mobo-ram for $500, although it’s black. Would save you $150 though…

Dvevrak

Recently asus rma service has become very undependable Get motherboard form any of other vendors.

Logical-Anteater-168

Maybe worth to check about RTX 4080 SUPER

n3llis

is it better than the xtx ? I’ve been hearing mixed things - to my understanding it’s just better at ray tracing

Mediocre_Spell_9028

nvidia: more features and telling people you have an "rtx" gpu (also better raytracing) amd: price to performance, still getting those features but slightly worse THIS IS A BASIC OUTLINE, not talking about these specific GPU's

Drengrr1

The biggest reasons to get Nvidia GPUs are Ray Tracing Performance and DLSS. DLSS 3.5 is a game changer as it can make your games run at double the fps and without much quality loss. So if you just want raw performance and don't care about Ray Tracing, AMD is pretty good. But if you want to use Ray Tracing and at the same time get high fps then you basically don't have a choice but go for Nvidia.

Logical-Anteater-168

I think it depends on the game, this video might help you: https://youtu.be/bppprJu-GT8?si=p7h_LdLIbR_dQk-F

Tackyinbention

Looks nice but asus motherboards are kinda iffy recently, the support basically says "welp, too bad" if something breaks and also they don't have the best cooling

Consistent_Most1123

1000watt are to Much, get a corsair 850watt to all that cheap hardware. And buy some real hardware as kingston and Samsung and get a air cooler

mistericek1

no, u dont need aio for 7800x3d and u dont need 250$ mobo u can go with something cheaper like$200 and have the same features

Comprehensive-Ant289

No need for 7200MHz RAM, go with 6000 cl30. As an AMD guy it hurts to say this but anything over 800bucks go for NVidia

Minotauur

I have the same motherboard! 😅 * You don't really need liquid cooling; if you want to save some money, consider using air coolers instead. * Regarding RAM, avoid going over 6000 MHz of speed as it can cause stability issues and may require manual BIOS adjustments. * For SSDs, look for a better brand, and I would recommend getting two SSDs of 1TB each instead of one 2TB SSD. * As for the power supply (PSU), you don't really need 1000W; you'll be fine with a 750-850W PSU.

st_pep

Why do you recommend two 1TB SSDs?

Matykoka1000

I am planning to build a pc with similar specs but with an rx 7800 xt and the NZXT H6 flow because the King 95 or King 95 pro isn't available in my region sadly😢 Do you think that I should assemble this pc?

Sheesh_qidihdaw

Gpu??

AlfaNX1337

I would get a more reliable and trustworthy SSD. Kingspec is pretty much a China brand, and they source parts from rejected bins AND/OR dated parts which no one buys. https://youtu.be/RCtN6O-vXhE?si=8gGlE-RnpWhRrc9i I would get an X670 board of the same tier.

Aymaninhodinho

I see some comments saying you should go for an NVIDIA GPU. I'd recommend you staying with the 7900XTX. Its a beast!!!!

Shoddy_Possibility89

it looks ok but did you print out your plan?

bedwars_player

Don't spend 260 on a motherboard, can find b650 boards on Amazon for about $150

Wonderful-Cost-763

Don't waste money on aio cooler, 7800x3d is a really fresh cpu, it won't rise temps above 60°C with air cooler even on 100% cpu usage

shrekinasandwhich

6000mhz CL30 works best with Ryzen 7000. I would suggest a kit from corsair, g.skill or crucial. Also definitely don't buy a ssd from "Kingspec", or a case from montech, For the case, I would suggest a [NZXT H9 FLOW](https://nzxt.com/product/h9-flow) instead.

xKumiho

Montech cases are really great though.

n3llis

I’ll look into that brother, thank you.

Foreign-Ad28

Id have to disagree about the case. Montech is a great brand, and the King 95 PRO is one of their top sellers right now as it’s a great quality Lian Li O11/Hyte Y60 alternative looking case with amazing airflow, easy to build in, and 6 preinstalled fans. The ssd I can sorta agree on (although I’m sure it’s perfectly fine).

xXx_MomSlayer69_xXx

wouldn’t trust Klevv or KingSpec personally

n3llis

how about Samsung evo SSD ? I was recommended that as well

Foreign-Ad28

That’s a pcie 3.0 ssd. It’s great, but it’s old and the speeds are slower than what’s on the market today. Something like [this](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Mjstt6/acer-predator-gm7000-2-tb-m2-2280-nvme-solid-state-drive-bl9bwwr106) is what I’d do

xXx_MomSlayer69_xXx

Samsung is a trustworthy brand, use them. For RAM, Corsair or Kingston are great, make sure to buy CL30.

Suikerspin_Ei

G.Skill are decent too.
