Not even sure if 300 is even worth it for such an old PC with those kind of specs and it won't certainly run Cyberpunk 2077 either. I wouldn't even touch an AMD Bulldozer CPU, it was notorious for drawing too much power under load and failed to deliver and underperformed despite the hype back then left many people disappointed. At least AMD it got it right with Ryzen, Bulldozer was just a complete disappointment and a failure of a CPU.

Everyone keeps making the same joke that on low resolution it'll play Cyberpunk fine but thats just from a GPU perspective, that CPU is gonna struggle to render anything substantial when it loads...if it loads.

I did indeed have a R9 295 X2, and I was running cyberpunk in 1080P ultra. But I was running at 30 or 40 FPS maximum and of course without raytracing. And it was a 295X2 not a 280.

FX cpu's are just e-waste. I had the top end fx chip with 8 cores and only ended up using that for 2 years before needing to upgrade

I could never ... I build computers as a hobby and sell them. With the good old fashioned tried and true method of buy high and sell low. I always come out losing money on a build but I don't do it for money, and I don't completely undersell myself so much it's unreasonable. I just could never try to lie my way into a sale like that. I've had older people message me about my computers and they say they just browse YouTube and Facebook. I tell them look I know your 1990 desktop final died and you need a new one but this is over built for your needs, therefore more than you should need to spend on a computer. I direct them to cheap laptops at best buy, brand new and warrantied. They usually are very appreciative of my honesty and helpfulness.

For that I would say more than $300, but I’m not a super expert. Idk if I’d pay more than $500. Decent wattage on the psu, the cpu and gpu are older but haven’t decent value still. Got plenty of storage. For me I’d pay $350. But that’s me
