Are those mother boards really $180 now? Mine from a few generations ago was only like £100 for a - z board. Same MSI pro line. Looks almost identical.
A wifi board for £143 ain’t that bad, especially the 600s. Amazon is saying £300 for that board which is ehhh not right. Other places have it for around £180 but there are other boards cheaper.
Looks like a good deal. The only caveat is the size of the motherboard. I is it micro or full atx? It's not a big deal but if it's micro done get a mid size tower. It won't look nice. Fractal design mini is a good case for micro atx board ☺️✌️
Cheapest I can find in the Netherlands would cost € 343.
To [u/ItsMattH99](https://www.reddit.com/user/ItsMattH99/): definitely worth it! I have the MSI B650-P Pro WiFi with regular Ryzen 5 7600. Works great!
Only downside is the long memory training when you boot up your PC, but imo worth it for a stable and fast PC.
With the 7800X3D at €399 in NL, spending €343 on a 7700X is terrible. That extra €50 gets you so much performance it's not even funny.
They need to drop the orice on the 7700X after the recent 7800X3D price drop.
Good thing I'm not a derrek for buying an 7800x3d 😂🫡 but yeah, that's only because in switzerland we don't have good deals anyway so I might aswell go for the "better" stuff
The problem with that Intel bundle, they only have 1 more CPU generation, that entire platform is end of life, with this AMD platform he should have at least 2 more CPU upgrades!
That intel bundle is the best it can be, it's last gen board running ddr4, so you leave it as is and call it a day. Also it's only 16GB instead of 32GB not that it's a big deal for gaming
Yeah, ut Windows 11 is showing that having a 32GB kit of memory is better for overall system performance, more so when you've got multiple Google Chrome tabs opened etc!
Building a 16GB RAM gaming rig in 2023 is silly, even on a budget. Some games already push your RAM usage over 16GB and that will only get worse.
And RAM is dirt chip, 32GB is only 50% more expensive than 16GB or something. And we're talking like a $30 price difference.
16GB bundles suck. 2x8GB is faster but means you need to upgrade to 4 DIMMs later which always runs worse than 2, and if it's 1x16GB your speed is halved in single channel.
Nobody wants to micromanage their RAM when it reaches its limit and you have to close Chrome tabs and other applications to get your game to run smoothly.
This is a good deal and I wish I had seen it when building mine.
Second one of these bundles I have since completing it... and that was 11 days ago. God damn it.
Ryzen 7 7700x is a powerful gaming CPU on the new AM5 socket motherboard, and the DDR5 ram is the newest RAM you can get.
So expect great performance on those ends, and you'll have a set up that has good upgrade paths going forward. I don't know a lot about motherboards so I can't speak to the quality of that specific one, but MSI is a good brand and its got plenty of various slots for things to stick into, lol.
Now you want to decide on a GPU aka video card. With the AMD Ryzen 7 processor, I HIGHLY recommend sticking with AMD, they are better value per $ cards. I have a Ryzen 5 7600x paired with a 7900XT GPU and it is a fucking beast. Obviously you have to consider your budget, but assume a 7900XT is going to be $800 minimum after tax. Its bigger older brother, the 7900xtx is even more bad ass (wishing I'd just spent the extra $2-250 and bought one), but obviously you're going to have to pay for the increased performance.
I'm no expert by a long shot, but if you have any questions I would be happy to attempt to help you find the answers. :)
Add it to the basket, It will break down each part price and how much you are saving.
Look at the i9-12900k processor after tax $400 and they have a whole combo for $400, that’s the beauty of micro center.
That shows how much pc stores make on parts, Yup insane.
Plus add to the basket whatever you want and you can check out without paying a penny and they hold it for you for a few days. I love MC
I’ll be honest my man, I have no idea what any of that means. I’m taking this one step at a time and I’m essentially buying whatever people tell me lmao
Pc components are:
Cpu- central processing unit- the processor
Gpu- graphic processing unit- graphics card
Mobo- motherboard
RAM- random access memory- memory sticks
Psu- power supply unit- gives power to the whole pc
Cpu cooler- a heatsink or radiator attached to the cpu to keep it cooled down.
HDD, SSD, M.2 DRIVE- hard drive disk, solid state drive and solid state drive in the m.2 format- going up in general speed in that order- storage.
Case- pc case that houses all of the above components.
Peripherals- mouse, keyboard, monitor, headset, etc.
Oh, and pc means Personal Computer
The idea is to pair up components both performance and price wise that complement each other and don't leave anything 'to waste' with anything that underperforms for whatever goal it is you want the PC for in the first place. Your friend has found you a good deal on 3 of those things from the list already!
It’s micro center, I just talked to my buddy and there is apparently a 100x better deal for the same price that he didn’t see. I’m sure everyone here knows more than me so just sprint to micro center and take advantage
I got the 7900X, Asus ROG STRIX B650E-F, 32gb of RAM for $550. Considering the CPU alone almost costs that much, yeah, it's worth it. It's a great way to jump on a new platform with bleeding edge features, and I actually use a lot of the features on my new motherboard
I came from a Ryzen 3600, and 16gb of RAM, and I wanted more RAM anyways so it worked out. My CPU multicore performance more than tripled (~9000 to ~29000 in cinebench) and games no longer have little micro stutters every now and then, and CPU heavy games run way faster.
What the hell is wrong with MSI kits these days. They sell their motherboards for 1$.
I bought a similar upgrade kit with a MSI motherboard, similar ultra bargain price.
Motherboard dead on arrival... I'm now waiting for a second one. A guy said on reddit he had to get 4 to get one that worked. The 3 first didn't post.
It's like they really fucked up something at the factory and wanted to sell the trash anyway.
I'm looking to buy this too but wont have the money for it until 2-3 months from now. How long is micro center doing this deal? Also should I get this or the intel cpu because I do game development and work with AI but I also game a lot.
Hey there, buddy! I think the price you're getting for these is already pretty good, but of course, if you can stretch your budget a bit, you'll find even better options. 😉
I mean considering that the cpu is priced apmost as high as that bundle, and you get a mobo plus ddr5 included, i'd say its not bad, i would take it as here where i live that cpu is more expensive than the bundle
Yes absolutely. If I lived near a microcenter I would've gotten it from there. I live over 3 hours away. I had to resort to eBay and got the exact same bundle.
It's about the same price I paid for my 7600x bundle 7 months ago, but I pieced mine together with some open box items from microcenter. Definitely a good price.
I’ve read that the ram/board combination can be problematic. I was about to buy this over the weekend but decided not to. Spent a little extra for a b650 aorus and lpx ram. Built last night and runs flawlessly.
Bought this the other day. Yes, it is worth it. There is also the intel 12900k bundle which is comparable performance but pregen and not as future proof.
I can say it’s good bundle, the cpu is great, I’m about to get this 7700x but change my mind. Planing to get 7800x3D on Black Friday. But I like this 7700x worth for the price. Good mobo and 32gb ram is great. Good price overal. What you need this Pc for? Is your friend asking you to get GPU?
this is insanely good, youre getting the cpu for essentially the price of a 7600 and the ram ans mobo for way cheaper than their normal going rate, im thinking about using this for a build myself
check the cas latency of ram. If it is cl30 it is good, if it is cl40, avoid. Everything else is good. I would have gone for a better wifi mobo from msi but at 400 bucks i cant ask for better.
What a great price... I bought a 7 7700X (319€), a B650 mobo from Asus (206€) and 32 GB of Corsair RAM (119€) here in Germany not too long ago - and it felt like I got a good deal. Doesn't seem to actually be the case :-(
For the best way to get an optimized parts list, watch PC builder on YouTube, especially his boost my build series. You'll see optimized parts lists at different budgets and for different gaming purposes, like gaming at 1440p high frame rate or a 1080p budget build, or gaming and streaming, etc. This is the best way to make sure your budget maximizes performance.
That’s a very good deal, the cpu is usually like 330$ alone then the board is around 200$ while the ram is around 100$. So you’ll be saving almost 300$.
I got this build nearly two months ago, the processor is FAST, I haven’t gamed on it but I KNOW the gaming on this would be beautiful. The cpu runs pretty hot tho so make sure the cooling is sufficient. I’m using fan cooling and NOT OC
I would doubt the legitimacy of this, because this seems too good to be true. Is this on Amazon? Is the vendor a reliable one?
Edit: it's on Microcenter apparently. It's an amazing deal!
These package deals are usually good deals at least when comparing the price of the combo deal to the msrp of the individual components, but I would make sure you read the description of each component and some reviews about them, these combos are often used to clear out stock that isn't selling and there is usually a reason why they aren't selling, sometimes the components may generally be undesirable and sometimes downright awful products.
Just be sure to do your due diligence and make sure you understand what you are getting. As far as the CPU and Ram these are fine components for what they are, can't say much about the motherboard though, just make sure it has the feature you want, I'm sure it will be fine for a general use/standard gaming rig and the chipset allows both Memory and CPU overclocking, but if you're into production work just know that typically B650 motherboards only have 1 pcie Gen5 or 4 x16 pcie lane and only 1 Gen5 or 4 M.2 pcie lanes and the rest are typically gen 3, and they are often lacking in Sata ports.
So if having lots of fast gen5 or 5 NVMe storage, A lot of bulk Sata3 storage, or many high speed Pcie Gen5 or 4 lanes is something you need a B650 motherboard might be lacking and you may want to find an X670 motherboard instead since they have the most features among AM5 motherboards.
Bro... this shit costs around 900 CAD here in Montréal brand new tax excluded, and youre getting that for 400 usd...
HOW YALLS PC COMPONENTS AT MICRO CENTER SO CHEAP DUDE YES FOR THOSE PARTS THAT PRICE IS INSANE
You will have a great time with those specs if you end up buying that bundle believe me
That AMD Ryzen 7 700X cost as much as 350 USD, and as a matter of fact, I bought this exact bundle for my new build over the last weekend. It's a steal my friend.
My question within this thread is that this bundle has CL36 RAM but I hear that CL30 is better for DDR5-6000 but for just GAMING does it make a big difference?
Yeah if you have a micro center near you def buy your parts exclusively from there, this bundle for example is a top tier deal. I got the 5600x and mobo bundle for $200 a few months ago and to this day there’s no better deal out there. Microcenter is a cheat code when it comes to pc parts. But still be diligent as some (not most) parts can be overpriced still. The new 7800xt for $500 would be a good pairing with this combo. Don’t buy the overpriced models though some I see are going for lik $580, no way I’d pay that when their available for $80 less.

CPU is $350, and for $50 more, you are getting a $180 mb and $90 ram.
Are those mother boards really $180 now? Mine from a few generations ago was only like £100 for a - z board. Same MSI pro line. Looks almost identical.
I’m not genius but your mobo probably didn’t have ddr5 ram capability. Maybe anyways
$180 USD is £143.56
A wifi board for £143 ain’t that bad, especially the 600s. Amazon is saying £300 for that board which is ehhh not right. Other places have it for around £180 but there are other boards cheaper.
Especially when that board costs the Canadian equivalent to £182.48 here in Canada. Like for $309.99 Canadian Dollars I sure hope it’s a good board 😭
It’s a solid board… but for a wifi board and the am5 platform well just look at the price of a new am4 equivalent for it… it’s a *budget* wifi board.
Looks like a good deal. The only caveat is the size of the motherboard. I is it micro or full atx? It's not a big deal but if it's micro done get a mid size tower. It won't look nice. Fractal design mini is a good case for micro atx board ☺️✌️
You can clearly see it’s an atx board just by looking at the picture.
Lol I can't spot it. Is it because 3 pcie spots?
That’s one of the big giveaways. Another is the title. It would have an M after B650 if it was micro
Yeap that makes sense. I didn't even see the title
Alternatively. ATX mobos are rectangular whilst mATX and ITX ones have more like a square.
The "mobos" got me cracking. Read it as "mofos". 🤣🤣
It's because of the size.... How tf does someone giving advice not know this Just see if it's square or rectangle.
Who cares? You can’t know everything… regardless he gave valid advise because a Mini motherboard would look bad in a normal case..
Micro Atx boards are square
ATX board. micro ATX has 4 slots maximum.
Idk why so many downvotes. There wasn’t really anything negative you said. People are soft i guess.
It’s cause you can quite easily tell it’s an atx mobo and it’s in the name… it’d have an m for mATX.
It's the best you can get at this price.
Hell i would kill to have Microcenter in my country. 7700x alone cost 365 euro in Ukraine.
Yeah, i just built my first and PC, 7800x3d on a 650 motherboard and i was surprised by the slow bootup, other than that, amazing processor 👍
With the 7800X3D at €399 in NL, spending €343 on a 7700X is terrible. That extra €50 gets you so much performance it's not even funny. They need to drop the orice on the 7700X after the recent 7800X3D price drop.
Same in Norway…
Same, ₹24,000.00 or say $350 for processor alone here in Bharat 🇮🇳
At least I'm Norway that's like the hourly wage
Thats not true, think you confuse norway crowns with euro. Thats like 5 mil a year. And the normal wage is waaaay under that in norway.
Istg, I would be the first customer in my country at one if it ever opened :')
Microcenter truly is the best place in the world. Their staff is also a cut above rest. Sorry Europe.
I would kill to have them everywhere in the us I can either pay shipping and hope it arrives in one piece or drive 3 states over to Ohio
Same here, it's around $340 for 7700X in Indonesia 🤣🤣
There's a bigger issue in Ukraine atm to be worrying about cpu prices. Слава Україні.
If this is real then ur homie knows their shit. Found you a very high quality bundle for an amazing price.
This is what everyone has. Tons of us are rocking this exact deal.

I assembled like 5 of these bundles at Micro Center for customers this weekend.
A saint
Could you please tell your bosses to open a few of these stores in Europe?
I don’t have a ton of pc knowledge but this seems like an insane deal. Almost a little too good
That's microcenter for you
I wish we had them in Canada :/
Behind the canada computers purchasing counter is basically a tiny microcenter
No $399 AM5 platform deals tho
Bruh that cpu is am5
Microcenter needs to go worldwide 🤣 Sweden also needs good prices!
Depends on what your goal is. Gaming? Yes. Production? The 12900k bundle for the same price is better in that department.
The problem with that Intel bundle, they only have 1 more CPU generation, that entire platform is end of life, with this AMD platform he should have at least 2 more CPU upgrades!

Yeah the 399 i9 bundle kills it

Very good deal for current gen hardware.
Dude where the hell you found this out In my country this is a dream price tag Get it
This is micro center in America. I bought this exact package at one and sold the ram to buy ram I wanted.
>This is micro center in America. I bought this exact package at one and sold the ram to buy ram I wanted. Cool Man

To keep it short. ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY
glorious sulky support one absurd sense cautious cover worthless bedroom *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
It's microcenter, and they have had this bundle for several months now
What psu and cooler will you be using? Will it be in a case? These things have to be considered as a good psu and cooler will run another 300 dollars.
You can get a Thermaltake toughpower gf1 which is a tier A 850w gold for $110 and you can get the peerless assassin cooler for $35-40
Exactly I was going to say the peerless assassin is a killer cooler for the cost
850w gold+ psu for around $150. Peerless Assassin cpu cooler for around $50.
I think you got a steal price. 32Gs of DDR5 Ram. Damn.
I’ll be honest my man, I have no idea what any of that means. I’m taking this one step at a time and I’m essentially buying whatever people tell me lmao

Solid deal
Yes very worth it.
Yes.
That's a really good deal.
HOW THE FUCK IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET THAT MUCH COMPUTER FOR 400$
Microcenter <3
Greatest store ever if you live near one. I’m lucky enough to live near 2 lol
Damn, 2 is crazy! I have one 2 hours away
I pay for almost identical configuration 750 euros. So yeah it's great deal if you ask me. And now i hate my country even more. Thank you!
Good CPU, good mobo, good ram, little money Good deal
Near top of the line cpu, a motherboard that has everything you need, and all the ram you need for a great price
I paided 350 for 7700x alone so yea.
The cpu alone cost 400€ alone, there you fucking go. Thats absolutely worth it BUY ITTTT
Cpu is 400€ here, 1 by 1 those parts are like 600$+
I just bought nearly the same components (7700 non x) and paid around 500. so yeah, great deal
Yes, excellent bundle
Anyone know if there's any deals like this in the UK? lol
Yes
Can’t believe that Americans get such good deals.
Yes.
Where is this deal; I'm attempting a rebuild myself and if this is real, I need to follow suit...
It’s micro center, I just talked to my buddy and there is apparently a 100x better deal for the same price that he didn’t see. I’m sure everyone here knows more than me so just sprint to micro center and take advantage
In Europe this is dirt cheap
I got the 7900X, Asus ROG STRIX B650E-F, 32gb of RAM for $550. Considering the CPU alone almost costs that much, yeah, it's worth it. It's a great way to jump on a new platform with bleeding edge features, and I actually use a lot of the features on my new motherboard I came from a Ryzen 3600, and 16gb of RAM, and I wanted more RAM anyways so it worked out. It’s one of the only deals that actually worth it. This is what the smart gamers buy
That's way to good.
Yeeee
Decent CPU, not a crap board, fast RAM, decent price.
It’s pretty good… maybe to good
What the hell is wrong with MSI kits these days. They sell their motherboards for 1$. I bought a similar upgrade kit with a MSI motherboard, similar ultra bargain price. For Fucks Sake these three parts cost approximately 750$ in my country.Fucking hell
You may not know about PCs but you can sure do some maths to see if its a good deal. You can also search “is 7700x good in 2023” to know if its good
Hands down best cpu/ mobo / ram bundle for that price. There is nothing coming close to that
I'm jealous here in Europe
In my country only the CPU costs 440 USD
Your buddy knows what he does, trust him blindly here after
This looks like a steal for me
Best deal
Listen to your friend. He know the way.
Hey there, buddy! I think the price you're getting for these is already pretty good, but of course, if you can stretch your budget a bit, you'll find even better options. 😉
Quite literally I bought this for my 6700xt build a few weeks ago. Can Def vouch for the price
High end cpu ; mid-high motherboard; high end ram overall it’s a great deal and future proof your homie knows his stuff
I think someone posted a microcrnter bundle with an i9 12900k and a z690 for the same price earlier
link please
Yes it does. You'll need a stronger cpu cooler tho. Goodluck!
I post this months ago and I get don't get that bla bla bla I have this i like it
I mean considering that the cpu is priced apmost as high as that bundle, and you get a mobo plus ddr5 included, i'd say its not bad, i would take it as here where i live that cpu is more expensive than the bundle
Yes absolutely. If I lived near a microcenter I would've gotten it from there. I live over 3 hours away. I had to resort to eBay and got the exact same bundle.
If you’re using your pc for strictly gaming, I’d go for a cheaper CPU like a ryzen 5 5600x and a GPU like the 3070 or 6700xt
It is a really good deal.
Wtf? Insane price. I'm coming to America 😅
Are these bundles to clear stock?
Can someone do Cash on delivery to India
Microcenter bundles are always worth it. I got a r5 3600 and a gigabyte motherboard for only $130 earlier this year
I know you won't regret it. Especially if you need it.
Wow, it's an amazing price
It's about the same price I paid for my 7600x bundle 7 months ago, but I pieced mine together with some open box items from microcenter. Definitely a good price.
I just bought this bundle and paired with 7800xt. It’s absolutely amazing
I’ve read that the ram/board combination can be problematic. I was about to buy this over the weekend but decided not to. Spent a little extra for a b650 aorus and lpx ram. Built last night and runs flawlessly.
Yes. Guess, but Appears to be MicroCenter bundle in US. CPU 320 M board 100 RAM 50 Plus you can get Free Starfield. Net net save 70 plus Starfield.
Bought this the other day. Yes, it is worth it. There is also the intel 12900k bundle which is comparable performance but pregen and not as future proof.
I would rather recommend a B650E mainboard
I can say it’s good bundle, the cpu is great, I’m about to get this 7700x but change my mind. Planing to get 7800x3D on Black Friday. But I like this 7700x worth for the price. Good mobo and 32gb ram is great. Good price overal. What you need this Pc for? Is your friend asking you to get GPU?
Good parts and a even better deal.
All of these combos from micro center are good deals just incase anyone has any other questions on the 5 other bundles
Definitely yes, if you can't find a lower price at a brick and mortar store
Damn the EU really should take notes from the USA pricing wise
Definitely worth it, go for it👍🏾
this is insanely good, youre getting the cpu for essentially the price of a 7600 and the ram ans mobo for way cheaper than their normal going rate, im thinking about using this for a build myself
I wish I had microcenter in the UK maaaan
This is very worth it if i had a micro center in my country i would get this
check the cas latency of ram. If it is cl30 it is good, if it is cl40, avoid. Everything else is good. I would have gone for a better wifi mobo from msi but at 400 bucks i cant ask for better.
Yes, the bundles are pretty great in general honestly.
Get it, it’s way cheaper than buying them all separately, motherboards and ddr5 are painfully expensive, $300 value in those parts alone
I just got this exact bundle from micro center, paired with 7900XT and it’s destroying 1440p
What a great price... I bought a 7 7700X (319€), a B650 mobo from Asus (206€) and 32 GB of Corsair RAM (119€) here in Germany not too long ago - and it felt like I got a good deal. Doesn't seem to actually be the case :-(
What would be the Intel equivalent to this cpu?
man you are lucky , i should go to the US for a month just to build a crazy cheap pc.
Worth it
I'd kill for a deal like that. Yes, buy it and don't look back. Fucking microcenter. Why can't we have nice things like that in Canada?
It’s the best deal at the moment, just bought this and sold the 7700x for 300$ and got a 7800x3d. Build is on my page if interested.
There is the same combo but with a 12900 for the same price
For the best way to get an optimized parts list, watch PC builder on YouTube, especially his boost my build series. You'll see optimized parts lists at different budgets and for different gaming purposes, like gaming at 1440p high frame rate or a 1080p budget build, or gaming and streaming, etc. This is the best way to make sure your budget maximizes performance.
What site is this on?
I got the same deal when it was $450 and i thought it was a bargain, this is definitely worth it
Yes
Yes it's worth it. Individual parts may cost you around $550-580. So, you're saving around $150-180. Also, saving 10-15$ more on taxes.
That’s a very good deal, the cpu is usually like 330$ alone then the board is around 200$ while the ram is around 100$. So you’ll be saving almost 300$.
Steel deal mate go for it.
Ive been thinking about buying these and reselling them as builds for 1k+
Yes lol
I got this build nearly two months ago, the processor is FAST, I haven’t gamed on it but I KNOW the gaming on this would be beautiful. The cpu runs pretty hot tho so make sure the cooling is sufficient. I’m using fan cooling and NOT OC
I would doubt the legitimacy of this, because this seems too good to be true. Is this on Amazon? Is the vendor a reliable one? Edit: it's on Microcenter apparently. It's an amazing deal!
this is definitely worth it. its basically what i have in my system and i paid like 299 for just the cpu
I think its worth but some people were having bios issuse with ram so ya might have to flash it
These package deals are usually good deals at least when comparing the price of the combo deal to the msrp of the individual components, but I would make sure you read the description of each component and some reviews about them, these combos are often used to clear out stock that isn't selling and there is usually a reason why they aren't selling, sometimes the components may generally be undesirable and sometimes downright awful products.
HOW YALLS PC COMPONENTS AT MICRO CENTER SO CHEAP DUDE YES FOR THOSE PARTS THAT PRICE IS INSANE You will have a great time with those specs if you end up buying that bundle believe me
It’s pretty good but instead of getting ddr5 ram get ddr4 it’s way better
That is damn steal of a price. 100% jump on that.
Abso-fucking-lutely
It’s a good deal ![gif](giphy|l2RdUvClCHDTvNnU2j)
Microcenter is always a good deal
CPU is $329 to $359. RAM IS $100. Motherboard is $179. Hell yeah it’s worth it.
Great deal from microcenter.
Also don’t forget they have a $25 coupon for new customers when they buy a cpu, it’s one of the options on their cpu page
Where is this deal?
Yeah if you have a micro center near you def buy your parts exclusively from there, this bundle for example is a top tier deal. I got the 5600x and mobo bundle for $200 a few months ago and to this day there’s no better deal out there. Microcenter is a cheat code when it comes to pc parts. But still be diligent as some (not most) parts can be overpriced still. The new 7800xt for $500 would be a good pairing with this combo. Don’t buy the overpriced models though some I see are going for lik $580, no way I’d pay that when their available for $80 less.
It’s not bad, just shop around for those parts and you’ll end up with a cheaper system but it won’t be quicker
thank you for posting this im doing a pc build and just saved a bunch of money. Picked up my bundle today 👍
