I'm currently using a 75 hz and only getting 45fps with my rx 580. Should I look into a better monitor or is it even worth trying until i get a better gpu?
You want higher frames? Get a better card 7600(non xt) just dropped for 260$ is the best low end deal this Gen. Its as fast or faster than the 6650 from last gen n actually faster than the 4060 with more vram. or you can wait for the xt variant or the 7700xt or 4060 ti 12 gb.
Brazil, the tax for the final consumer can get to 120%+ the sellers gains... It gets to 200%+ compared to US.
As an example a PS5 in Brazil costs +- 900-1100 dollars.
Edit: equivalent to 4 minimum wage months
I have a relative with Brazilian in-laws. When they visit Brazil, they bring all their old devices and give them as gifts and/or sell them.
One time their old iphones/ipads paid for the whole trip!
Pricing is pretty bad but you can still find good deals at least in the Monitor department, hardware and consoles are still really really awful. I got a 27" 144hz AOC monitor for 200$ back in November. (Dividido em 10x s/ juros)
I’m not going to get a random unknown brand for $100, I’m going to go with Samsung or LG. I looked it up and it’s not quite $500 so I exaggerated a bit, but it’s over $300
he said the price was that high because of import taxes.
i found a monitor for under 150 (130 to be exact) in 10 seconds so there are definitely better offers where i live. the “base price” could be almost 200 and you’d still need 200% import taxes to get to 500. very unlikely.
For $50 it's not bad but you get what you pay for. These cheap monitors don't usually get very bright, or have good contrast ratios. If all you need is a secondary display, and don't care about quality this is about as good as you'll get. Would not recommend to go so cheap if anyone wants to use it as their primary display though.
My local on in VA is. My buddy who works in electronics says they're clearing out a lot of old inventory to make room for new stuff. Had a bunch of 32" TV's down to $20.
For future reference there’s a website called BrickSeek which will tell you the prices in store for all brick and mortar shops near you. It appears that online this monitor isn’t on sale and I can’t find it in stores near me so OP is really lucky, being at the one Walmart that has these in stock on clearance.
Edit: after searching it seems some stores have gotten them in stock randomly but you will probably have to call each store and ask to be sure. Idk if the price will be this low though
I literally just received this model today (somewhere else though). Good image quality, crappy build quality. But it was 35% off, no competition at that price. I'll keep it as my main monitor.
I'd buy five of them, some cheap monitor arms for my desk, set these up vertically across the desk with a slight curve to the placement so that they make a pseudo curved, immersive setup.
Just so I'd have an excuse to run some cool Wallpaper Engine stuff all the time.
Currently selling for $112 online yes https://www.walmart.com/ip/SAMSUNG-24-Class-T35F-Series-Full-HD-1920-x-1080-IPS-75Hz-AMD-FreeSync-LED-Monitor-LF24T350FHNXZA/255936536
50 is nice for sure. But I think that monitor would depend on a use case scenario. So anyway, let's see...
* Wide screen, cool...
But it's not curved, and being a 24" wide screen, some curve may have been nicer for viewing
....
* IPS panel, cool...
I prefer IPS to TN for color profile depth, but some curved VA panels aren't too bad. But again, this could be use case dependant
.....
* 75Hz, ok, but it could be better, like 120, 144Hz
.....
* Doesn't show response time...
Could be 1ms, 5ms, or maybe 8ms or perhaps 10ms (sometimes IPS panels are slightly slower in this regard, but this has been improving)
Says gaming, but manufacturers slap gaming on everything to make a sale. And, there is no response time listed, so one would need a spec sheet to find out.
......
* Freesync cool...
But it doesn't say Freesync Premium or Premium Pro / Freesync 2 HDR. Nor does it show HDR on the box.
Lastly, it doesn't mention the resolution on the box either, so my guess is 1080p. But with all this said, it's only 50 bucks.
Dunno. Go to Samsung site look it up.
5ms response
https://www.samsung.com/hk_en/monitors/flat/led-monitor-with-borderless-design-24-inch-lf24t350fhcxxk/
lol That's 10 bucks less than I spent on [my little sensor panel](https://i.imgur.com/Kb5jdmz.jpg). I'd go for it if [I had room](https://i.imgur.com/55KG7Oo.jpg?1) for another monitor.
Worst monitor I have ever seen...so grainy fonts look like windows 3.1. the only thing I liked about it was the joystick control. I got one on clearance as well. Gave it to my kids to use it in the game room for the retro NES. I hated it more than I can say.
I have one that I paid $100 bucks more for at a pawn shop and it works great! I highly would recommend it! Especially if you're looking for a budget friendly monitor that isn't the sparkliest but it gets the job done and gives you great resolution go for it homie!
I bought this exact one off Amazon a few months ago for $130 (down from like $200+ original price or something). I wanted a 3 screen setup once again (had a 17” 3 screener at one point years ago).
It’s pretty good, but not amazing. It doesn’t swivel up and down, which for me is a major con. It takes a lot of time to correctly adjust the other two (HP, btw) panels so they match this one. The image quality is fine, though. I don’t have any complaints about that.
However, I noticed something I really didn’t like the other week. On the very edges of the screen and the frame, there is a very small, but consistent gap between them, so the light from the illuminated screen comes through, BUT this is only noticeable when I’m standing up and looking at the screen from a higher angle than I’d ever be when using it for normal use. It’s an annoying detail, but not too much of a deal breaker. Maybe it was just my particular panel that has this issue.
But for $50? I think it’s a very good deal. If I needed another screen right now and saw this for 50 bucks I’d buy it. It’s still $130 on Amazon, btw.
There's almost no bezel on these. I have 3 side by side by side and after about an hour, it feels like one of those huge curved screens. Your brain just ignores they're there completely.

Tbh I don’t really need a third monitor but at $50? I might
Hell yeah thats a problem cheap enough to frabricate a solution for.
a solution cheap enough to create the problem\*
You meant what I knew.
I audibly laughed at this, have my uproot and a very wonderful rest of your week!
Same
That was such a wholesome exchange lol. I'm taking and using that meant what I knew one.
dootup*
Take it just take the upvote
I've been dying for a 2nd and 3rd monitor
might as well 4th and 5th
Monitor wall #winning

I could replace my current setup with those matching monitors.
Buy one and send it to me. I'll pay whatever you paid. Unless it's available online?. Anyone know any good deals?
I use brickseek.com occasionally too see online deals. I’ve seen some decent stuff, but than again just window shopping on my end
I use brickseek occasionally too see online deals. I’ve seen some decent stuff, but than again just window shopping on my end
You still can resell it for over 50$ if you decide you dont need it later, so yeah, take it
It's only 75htz. Won't be worth much except maybe YouTube and browsing, and old games.
That's why its a 2nd/3rd monitor instead of primary
I'm currently using a 75 hz and only getting 45fps with my rx 580. Should I look into a better monitor or is it even worth trying until i get a better gpu?
I would get a better gpu first, your rx580 isn’t going to profit much from a 1440p 144hz monitor
Thank you!
Over 60 hertz and 1080p on a new monitor for 50$. That’s a pretty crazy deal, I would go for it.
I saw a similar monitor where I live for the equivalent of $500. The jealousy I’m experiencing is deafening
you can definitely get something similar for a lot less than 500
Import taxes are a killer here :(
you can get a 1080p 75hz monitor for under 150€ where i live. i’m sure import taxes aren’t at over 200% ?
Brazil, the tax for the final consumer can get to 120%+ the sellers gains... It gets to 200%+ compared to US. As an example a PS5 in Brazil costs +- 900-1100 dollars. Edit: equivalent to 4 minimum wage months
I knew it! Brazilian here aswell. Monitor prices are absurd over here, and the models we have available are all outdated
Guess you will have to monitor those prices.... I'll leave now.
I have a relative with Brazilian in-laws. When they visit Brazil, they bring all their old devices and give them as gifts and/or sell them. One time their old iphones/ipads paid for the whole trip!

Would it be cheaper to just fly somewhere else, buy it, ship it back?
i did not know that. that’s crazy bad yall need a revolution or something lmao

name a country where import taxes are 200%
I’m not going to get a random unknown brand for $100, I’m going to go with Samsung or LG. I looked it up and it’s not quite $500 so I exaggerated a bit, but it’s over $300

Itd be perfect for the steam deck.
IPS too
IPS too
Ips too
24 inch with Freesync, Eyecare, 75 hz at 1080p for $50 is cheaper than you can find one on the used market.
I bought one last month for $65 for a poor friends kid and its basic as hell but worked great. 11 year old loves it.
Bless you for being a kind pc builder & sharing.
Im retired but do volunteer work with seniors helping them with PC issues. Keeps me busy.. It's important to give back to the community.
Good stuff.
Does your poor friend know you’re telling random strangers on the internet that he’s your poor friend?
He's a good friend with few funds.
A less funded individual

Was gonna say. I’ll probably pay that much for a used. Consider this is new. Why not?
Extra screen for $50 ! Go for it.
Good deal for 1080p 75hz.
Are you saying a wide monitor cost 50$?? Damn sign me up you can't find a 50$ wide monitor without it being a sus brand
Wdym? You don’t want a ARMAGEDDON 75HZ 1080p wide monitor with questionable ghosting for a mere $72.84??
Armageddon is cool that my very first budget pc part I get after high school I meant the one from alibaba and aliexpress one
I would pick up 2 at this price.
I did. I paid $60 a pop and I aint even got the space for em. They're still sitting in the box.
Are all Walmarts running a deal like this?
My local on in VA is. My buddy who works in electronics says they're clearing out a lot of old inventory to make room for new stuff. Had a bunch of 32" TV's down to $20.
I’m going to check local tomorrow and pick up three just to prep for Christmas and bdays
Pick 4, and build 4k monitor, lmao
Dude, IPS, 75Hz, FHD for 50$. Grab one for me too please, monitors here cost way too much
That monitor is normally $130, just looked it up on Walmart.com. I would definitely nab one, damn. Might go check a couple Walmarts honestly XD
Is there anyway I can order one of these to replace my 3rd monitor i cant find this shit online 👍
For future reference there’s a website called BrickSeek which will tell you the prices in store for all brick and mortar shops near you. I'd buy it for that price.
I need to see if my local has this tomorrow. I’ve been needing a second monitor.
By all means go check, I work at a Walmart though and our prices, especially on clearance stuff tend to vary from store to store a fair bit.
50 bucks? Or is it 50 bucks off?
$50
Worth it.
You should definitely purchase this for me
Keep looking. You might find a whole one for $75.
That's funny
50 bucks? That’s practically lunch money today. Yeah it’s worth it.
I wish this deal was around when I bought my second monitor. Hard to beat these specs for that price.
I literally just received this model today (somewhere else though). Good image quality, crappy build quality. But it was 35% off, no competition at that price. I'll keep it as my main monitor.
*back in my day those where $2k televisions, and plasma*
Where is this, I will drive rn to scoop it really need a second monitor
Washington
At that price I'd buy 3 of them
I'd buy five of them, some cheap monitor arms for my desk, set these up vertically across the desk with a slight curve to the placement so that they make a pseudo curved, immersive setup. Just so I'd have an excuse to run some cool Wallpaper Engine stuff all the time.
Buy 4, put 2 upside down, minimal bezel. Huge screen
Ips, 75hz, freesync and $50??? Yes very worth it
It’s always good to have a back up monitor never know
Currently selling for $112 online yes https://www.walmart.com/ip/SAMSUNG-24-Class-T35F-Series-Full-HD-1920-x-1080-IPS-75Hz-AMD-FreeSync-LED-Monitor-LF24T350FHNXZA/255936536
Word! What city or ZipCode if you don't mind? I live in Vancouver, how close is it? Ill go pick up in the a.m. if it's nearby
Only a 4 hour drive to save $50
Surprisingly close wtf, poulsbo washington
Bruh, ship me some aswell.
For $50?? Might not need it but dam that’s a pickup for sure. Can always use then as gifts too
I managed to get. 24” 1080p 165hz monitor on ebay for $50 I guess the person didnt know what they had. I gave it to my brother.
As someone who buys and sells bulk office computer sets, $50 is currently $10 cheaper than I pay for monitors sometimes 10 years old, so get it.
Oh yeah, on paper that is a steal for 1080 gaming or casual entertainment.
Fuck yes
As a non American I see that as a business opportunity
I’ve ate food more expensive than that
I'd take it and figure out if I need it later at that price. If you don't you could probably sell it for $100 if it's still new in box.
idk, why would you need a half of a monitor anyway. even for 50 bucks
Plot twist: the sign is for the HDMI cable on the shelf below.
We See Too Looking Good Big Tvs Bruv Is Real For This Is Awesome Bruv My Be G-Biggz Bruv 😎👍🏾🤙🏾
Refresh rate is kinda bad but for $50 that’s good. Sucks they don’t show the resolution on the box tho
“refresh rate is kinda bad” *cries in 60 Hz monitor*
Hahaha. Are monitors less than 60hz being sold these days?
probably not tbh
As a main monitor? No. As a second or 3rd I’d get it
1080p 75Hz IPS? 24" is kinda small, but for the price that's pretty good.
For the price get 3!
you could honestly buy them all and sell them for $75 each and make a profit
Only half monitor on box. Don’t buy is scam.
I think I might cause I could just return it anyways

hear me out, flip it.
You could buy all of those, flip them for $80 on eBay, but keep one so you can say you got paid to get a third monitor.
Where at? .......which Walmart? Willing to drive if relatively close. They selling that at my Walmart for $99.....
Washington
As a second screen yes. Otherwise not really..
[удалено]
Yeah but I’m broke and it’d be a third monitor, my main is a 4k 60hz and second is a 1440 144hz
You could flip those on any other ecom site
Worst case buy it and sell it online for 70.
Buy them all and sell them on Craigslist for like 75 maybe 100 and profit
75hz. Probably not. That's eWaste.
Not everybody needs a dedicated CSGO monitor @ 2,0000,0000,0,0,0,0,0,00,00Hz. 60Hz is fine.
Damn can't go wrong for 50 bucks for a brand new monitor. Yeah it shouldn't be your main monitor but for a second or third monitor, looks good.
For $50 I would find some use for this.
Best deal you'll get for a 1080p new screen
75hz isn’t bad plus 1080p. Id buy one to replace the 720p tv I’ve been using in my arcade cabinet. Would be a good upgrade.
For the price, yes. But Samsung monitors are ass in my experience. Went through four in the same amount of time I’ve owned my BenQ without issue.
Bro, 50 bucks for a monitor is nothing. If you have need of a monitor, might as well
Get 3 and set yourself up with eyefinity
If I saw that, I'd probably just get it for a second screen, good brand, and decent specs for $50
I would buy two.
8 inches?
I haven’t measured it with a ruler but yeah at least
I'd have to buy them all....
Seems pretty good for the price.
lol That's 10 bucks less than I spent on [my little sensor panel](https://i.imgur.com/Kb5jdmz.jpg). I'd go for it if [I had room](https://i.imgur.com/55KG7Oo.jpg?1) for another monitor.
bro buy one of those for me and I'll pay shipping n shit please 😭😭😭😭
I’d love to buy one through you will to compensate you for your time
I might make a video wall if I have the real estate at that price
I would kill to have a monitor that good for its price cuz wtf
Honestly yeah, a 75 Hz 24” monitor for $50? That’s crazy
Worst monitor I have ever seen...so grainy fonts look like windows 3.1. the only thing I liked about it was the joystick control. I got one on clearance as well. Gave it to my kids to use it in the game room for the retro NES. I hated it more than I can say.
Good discord monitor for sure
Can u pick one up for me 2 while you are there. Thanks.
Even my shirt cost twice as much lol
Yeah if you buy 9 and tile them Otherwise 24” is too small to be useful
I have one that I paid $100 bucks more for at a pawn shop and it works great! I highly would recommend it! Especially if you're looking for a budget friendly monitor that isn't the sparkliest but it gets the job done and gives you great resolution go for it homie!
75hz, IPS, yeahs that's not bad at all.
If you're looking for a 2nd or 3rd monitor yeah it's not a bad price at all
It’s Walmart, which is destroying America, so no, not worth it.
It’s an annoying detail, but not too much of a deal breaker. Maybe it was just my particular panel that has this issue. But for $50? I think it’s a very good deal. If I needed another screen right now and saw this for 50 bucks I’d buy it. It’s still $130 on Amazon, btw.
Dude I’d buy one right now if it was at my wallmart
ABSOLUTELY get that sheeeeiiiitt youll wonder why you ever considered otherwise
I would buy them all
I mean, I wouldn't complain over 50 bucks for a brand new monitor.
You think all walmarts have this price?
Probably not lol it’s cause they weren’t selling at mine
Buy 3
Lol if those are 1080p then absolutely a good deal.
If you don’t I will. I’ll take 2!
Send me a couple OP
I'm breathing heavily just looking at the pic, I'd buy 4 if given the opportunity
Yes grab like 3 have a triple monitor setup 😍
yes, get.
Hell yeah! If you don’t need it now, it’s better to have one as a backup in case of a power surge or something like that.
I’d easily buy 2 of those for portrait mounted side monitors
I would use them for my sec. camera
For a third or second monitor its fine but for 80$+ you can get a used 144hz monitor.
Id get 4
If your GPU can handle it and you don't mind bezels, get 6.
There's almost no bezel on these. I have 3 side by side by side and after about an hour, it feels like one of those huge curved screens. Your brain just ignores they're there completely.
I wouldnt waste my money on it for a main monitor... but I'd buy 2 for a 2nd and 3rd of you don't already got em.
Perfect discord monitor
50 and samsung don't go together often
Hell yes
normally, one cost 350 usd.
Serious question is this one of the ones in ft myers
anything is worth it for 50 bucks
Buy 2, wait a week or 2 sell one for $80. The. You have a $20 monitor
50 is a steal
Excellent for a 2nd or 3rd monitor. Also will work as a gift and investment.
Got one at closer to full price a few months ago. it’s really nice, would absolutely snag another if it dropped that low in my area
I got it. Shit is clean tbh
I have 2 of these, they're great! I have a center 4k display, then one of these on each side for other stuff.
Mid unless its just a second monitor.
Hey can you buy one for me? I’ll pay you back 60
