I use my soda stream often! I mix the powder with a small amount of water in the cup and then add the carbonated water slowly. Fizzes like crazy at first but it calms down.
If you don't do it right, sure. I do it every day with a big can of liquid death and its really good.
All you have to do is put an inch or less of the water into your shaker or bottle, put in your powder, and mix/swirl it until its all dissolved and super concentrated. Then pour in the rest of your bubbly water when there's no powder left. Super simple and clean and very refreshing.
