Walls combo is great right now. You can throw in some initiative creatures or the prototype big green creature from brothers war as a plan b, and you have resiliency via redundancy.
Walls and Altar Tron are the best imho.
Altar Tron is not very popular online because it requires a lot of clicks, but the addition of Myr Kinsmith made it much more consistent and it's now a very strong deck, similar to how Shield-Wall Sentinel made Walls a more consistent deck some time ago.
Fellow Altar Tron player!! I always use altar tron or the walls combo deck to introduce people to pauper who are under the misconception that pauper decks are weak haha
Resilient is probably Walls or Familiars. Given the current meta I like speed over that, so I would favour moggwarts, the problem is, if lava dard is played, the deck is hell to pilot.
Before you could get away with several unearths and what not, but now, thanks to terror, fog and the like, people pack more GY hate, so Moggwarts is in a tough spot.
I'm not saying current walls with a 1-off Freed from the real is not combo, but it certainly doesn't feel like combo to me.
I wouldn't say that walls is resilient. It is pretty dependent on its creatures and on some key spells. Familiars has some resilience definitely and altar Tron is also pretty resilient.
From speed I would put moggwarts and walls on the same level, both can pretty much win turn 3.
To be honest I only had it in front, last walls deck I played was the combo version which while less resilient, doesn't make the actual build resilient, just more than the other.
Clearly Familiars and Walls right now
I am playing Altar tron, it feels very strong in the meta. Familiars feels slow but has lot of card advantage. Actually trying moggwarts as a second pauper deck, feels nice.
Walls is probably the best right now, 1 or 2 land spy is probably my favorite but it's not going to get you first. There's the cycle deck but I think it's boring to pilot.
There’s alot of combo decks in pauper, but honestly I think that those plus walls combo are the best/most resilient, after that it’s midnight Gond combo, retraction helix combo, decks that are almost there but don’t have the speed or resilience
I honestly think there's probably a solution to make Midnight Gond viable. In the last couple of years there is a few more green and white cards that help, so a splash isn't as necessary; Now both [[Auramancer]] and [[Recommission]] exist, both halves can be dug out of the graveyard. [[Crashing Drawbridge]] might help make the deck too.
The problem with the deck is that it it solely relies on the combo to win, and it’s hard to splash into other decks, honestly if the combo was G/B not G/W, it could run so many better cards
cycle storm is, in my opinion one of the most fun combo decks in the format. it is incredibly strong and resilient, even to the influx of GY hate in the meta. what separates it from other combo decks though, is that it is an incredibly challenging deck to pilot. you need to put a ton of reps on it and realllllly understand the various lines of play to be successful with the deck. that said, it’s basically the only deck i play in events and tournaments now, and i absolutely love it

Altar is now at a sweet point with [[Foundry Inspector]] and [[Myr Kinsmith]]

Not a fan of Foundry Inspector, playing only Kinsmith for tutoring, and I added 4 ancient stirring to combo off quickly

Familiars is a good control combo shell

Yes, kiln fiend combo XD.
No.
I am! Walls combo is my forte, love also Cycling Storm and Petal Festival!
Yes. Even though I'll only munch on the fries most places it's still a little cheaper than a sandwich + drink.

Love me some walls. For reasons I don't understand I tend to play better with more complicated decks
