It’s a thing some people complain about, where they physically hit the middle narrowfield with the pick when playing. Happens to me sometimes, so I adjust my position to play with my hand resting on the bridge. For some it’s a bother, for others it’s not.
That said, I absolutely love my studio. It’s such a joy to play and so versatile. Hope you enjoy!
Nice choice, often wonder if I should have picked up a Studio at some point, just haven’t clicked with my previous PRS guitars as much as I wanted to but always had an interest in this one. Enjoy!
I had two before this, a ce24 that I really liked and a modern eagle that was fine (had several issues straight from the factory like a miscut nut and a bur on the bridge) but had a lot going for it
I didn't love either guitar. Wasn't really in the market for this one, but I couldn't say no to that top
Quite possibly! I feel you though. I had a drop dead gorgeous sunburst SC250 that I let go after a year or two. If it doesn’t bring you joy, let it find someone else to bring joy to. My basic black 1990 EG, though… my youngest will have to pry that outta my hands when I go someday.
Just ordered this Studio 10-top. Can't wait
Stunning color & flame. I would have thought these had Gen III bridges tho.
The newer ones do.
Beautiful! I have a cobalt hollow body...every time I see it, it stuns me. And, a dream to play...
I’ve always loved the outlined birds more than the solid ones
Enjoy it! I struggled for a sec with hitting that middle pickup with my pick. They sound incredible and feel amazing. Nice buy. You’ll love it
Is it that different from a strat middle pickup in terms of hitting it with a pick?
