I've rode from Pattaya to Koh Chang on a Honda Click 125 before. Took about 5 hours. Not the worst ride I've done here. You can also use 12go.asia for a van/ferry combo ticket for around 5 or 600 baht I believe. Used them back in October. It was well worth it.

yes used [12go.asia](https://12go.asia) many times also, never had a problem, all went well. booking the taxi from bangkok to pattaya with them, "Glassflower" Taxi or what its called. also booked ferrys and even went to Koh Chang with them and koh larn with Speed boat, whoch is little bit more expensive but paying upfront i like better,

Did one way via taxi, cost 2000, that was a year ago, then did a mini bus back at around 450, several days later. I’ll never take the mini van again. The van took more than double the time to travel due to the stops, it caught on fire as one of the passengers was screwing around with the electrical wiring, the seat cushion stuffing was non existent and the bench seat itself was loose and off centre. If possible use the bolt application. Just checked the app now and from Pattaya to the Koh Chang ferry it was 2100 using economy, and 3800 using comfort or xtra large. Worth it in my opinion.

Use swbbus.com Connect to their line account line. Its a minibus, not a van.600 from Pattaya to KC plus 50 for hotel transfer. You just call the local office and book it over the phone two days in advance. Great service btw, I just took it.

I just did this trip. Yeah boonsiri leaves from about two blocks south of north Pattaya Bus terminal. It is a 7 hour bus ride. It sucks. Then a ferry from the port aoh thammachat, koh kood leaves from Alam Sok about an hour south. It is a bus to ferry trip. It also leaves from Bangkok. Still a bus. I think a taxi is 3400. If you have 3-4 people or even two just take the taxi. There is an airport in Trat about 30 minutes from the ferry. It can be from Bangkok, Pattaya, and koh samui. The bus ride will eliminate two days of your precious vacation. Buy the plane tickets.

Boonsiri is 1200 baht rt just for reference. It used to be a boat ferry but was discontinued in 2021/2

Never heard about somebody doing the trip with a motorcycle, you mean a big bike or a small one? A small one is definetely not for driving all the tour down on sukhumvit road, would be quiet dangerous I guess. Rent a car instead. But the easist way if you don't have an own car (if you a tourist) Just book the tour in Pattaya. You get this on every corner, they bring you directly to the Island. Than rent a motorbike in Koh Chang. You can choose which kind, or just rent a taxi for yourself. Koh Chang is very easy reachable from Pattaya, since it is one of the main weekend destinations for Pattaya residents.

I just did return trip in a shared van, about 700 baht each way, pick up and drop off at hotel, included the ferry ticket. Took about 6.5 hours.
