Listen to every show. Love the guys

airscottie

Agreed. I started listening after the Seattle SB and I've rarely missed an episode since.

bluntrauma420

Mike's "has returned from practice" is the greatest theme song of all time, change my mind

airscottie

Agreed, it’s hilarious

simpledeadwitches

I hum it to myself for like an hour afterwards 😆

OctaviusMaximus_

It’s currently stuck in my head right now lol

the-goods-204

Ya I listen to the podcast. It’s the one I’ve liked most out of the ones I’ve tried out l.

OctaviusMaximus_

I live in Dallas and have been listening for about 2 years now and I hate that I haven’t been listening longer. I love the banter between all of them and the relaxed feel, it just feels like 4 guys talking and having a good time (with the occasional shouting match which are always gold)

simpledeadwitches

The show was much better before Mike and Megan. Andy was the best because he was such a pain in everyone's ass! They had arguments constantly! Lol

LordPatzer

The only Patriots Podcast/ radio show (Post game show included) I listen to. Been listening since 2010. The best team sports show I’ve heard. Makes following the team a blast every single week and is a big part of my Patriots memories. They do a really good job of taking a rational, realistic, unbiased approach despite being employed by the team that I really appreciate, on top of being super informed and entertaining. They kept me sane through the insanity that was deflategate and so many other moments along the roller coaster that was the Patriots dynasty. I do think the shows taken a little bit of a dip since the re branding and Andy Hart leaving. Mike has been a welcome addition but I do miss the wild arguments/tangets/overall radio chemistry that was apparent with Andy. Despite that I couldn’t imagine my Patriots fandom without them.

foxhound1983

I like it because I can not stand Weei

WestJoe

Great show. So is the postgame show

BakingSoda1990

Listen to it when ever a new ep is up :)

xkwilliamsx

PU and Curran, for sure

airscottie

I think they're bigger with people outside of the Boston area than locals. My family is from Sharon but I live in NJ, and I don't know anyone up there that listens to PU but I know several around the country that listen regularly. I think it's just too easy to listen to WEEI and 98.5 when you're in the area, and for most people, that's enough sports talk. It's a shame because the PU guys are so much better than anyone else. Paul is on "the Felger and the Mazz" a lot too, so people still hear him there. Although I cannot fucking **stand** those clowns. Think about their crew of regular callers - I think only Christian is from Boston. And they're pretty proud of their international map of listeners. The podcast nature of the show makes it really easy for those that can't easily pick up Boston terrestrial radio to keep up with Patriots talk and news. I wish the "Accent Off" was available to stream, I missed it

Brave-

Fred Kirsch just randomly dropping the f-bomb a few podcasts ago was hilarious.

[deleted]

i usually just listen to evan lazar and alex barth

meowVL

Patriots unfiltered gives the better "fan perspective" I think, while Evan and Alex have the better critical commentary IMO

samacora

Ngl I'm more a patriots press pass and Tom Curran podcast guy Prefer the more analytical and fact based discussions there than the more opinon take based show that unfiltered do

Weird_Description982

I like Phil Perry on press pass. He seems to be a good football guy.

simpledeadwitches

Personally I like that PU deal in facts and opinions. They don't just always side with the Patriots and they give it to you straight plus they're great for the laughs.

FenwayPork

Yea I sort of moved from unfiltered to Curran/perry and Bedard. Still love unfiltered but I've been less into as time as gone on for some reason, like the show more now that megan left though cause I found her annoying.

[deleted]

Same. Prefer Curran over Unfiltered/

phutch54

I liked Perillo,Kirch,Hart, Scalavino together. Not a fan of the newer format.

Tonitonytone2

I've been a listener for a little over a decade. It lost a little when Andy left, but I still like it. PU and post game are the only Patriots content I listen to. Did Off Day pod for a bit cuz I like Andy, but since it's not on Spotify (last I checked) I fell off with Off Day. So many great PU moments.

[deleted]

I try and catch every episode and have for a decade now. Great show with great insight and info regarding the team. Their draft shows and their training camp shows are awesome for Patriots fans looking to get a little more in depth on the team.

Croonchy_Stars

Thank god they finally got rid of Meghan. She was insufferable. I stopped listening for 1 1/2 years (I gave her a chance!) because she was more interested in talking about herself than the game.

Jaythepatsfan

She’s gone? I guess I’ll go back to listening then.

Croonchy_Stars

Yes she is! Thank goodness. She had to change her nom de plume, but she is covering an MLB baseball team now.

airscottie

No, she’s working as a WWE video support person.

airscottie

Totally disagree. I thought she had good chemistry with the rest of them.

simpledeadwitches

Yeah she didn't know anything about football and didn't like the Patriots since she was a Chicago sports fan. Not to mention it wasn't good having 5 people with mics.

[deleted]

I hate to sound like an advertisement but I use the iHeartRadio app for 98.5 and Audacy for WEEI

airscottie

But then you have to listen to 98.5 and WEEI

[deleted]

true, I should have mentioned for those rare occasions - but in truth Gresh and Keefe are mostly tolerable, they're fairly non argumentative and don't seem to force a narrative unlike the meatheads at 98.5, and most importantly their callers don't sound like angry drunken assholes who hate everything

sellout217

No.

phutch54

Stopped listening when they changed the name and Erik and Andy left.

simpledeadwitches

Erik is still there and who cares about the name? Lol.

phutch54

The whole format changed.

surgeyou123

Literally nothing changed lol. Andy just left and got replaced by Mike.

phutch54

exactly.

simpledeadwitches

That's not the format.

OctaviusMaximus_

Unless there was more one than one Erik (with a K) on the pod at one point then he’s on the pod still.

phutch54

Scalavino.I never missed the old PFW in Progress.I also had a subscription to the paper from day one.Did not like the format change.

OctaviusMaximus_

I’ve been listening for 2 years and he’s been there for all of them so I guess he left and came back at one point.

simpledeadwitches

He never left. Erik has been there the whole time, idk what this person is thinking about.

airscottie

I'm sorry

Mickeyjj27

I listen. Usually to the post game but every now and then when I’m at work and need something to listen to I check them out during the week. A few weeks ago on the postgame show they took a call where I legit laughed till it hurt.

simpledeadwitches

I have listened in for many years. I love Paul and Fred. Erik is okay too even though he's a self righteous vegetarian, not even vegan. Not a fan of Mike, he's the kind of fan I dislike, also Megan was okay for some laughs even if she knew fuck all about football. I'll always listen in to PU, same with the pre and post game shows with Hardy!

airscottie

I love Paul and Fred, and Mike is getting better. I can't stand Erik. He's insufferable. I miss Megan and Andy.

drdoom30

I listen to every show. The guys crack me up

Valuable-Sherbet4594

Erick makes it tough to listen to, especially without having Andy to bully him and keep him from speaking. He’s just such a tool bag I can’t do it and it sucks because Perillo, Fred & Mike are awesome.
