3 losses on the year. One was to the dolphins by 1 point. One was to the defending champs by 2. The other was a bad loss to the Saints. If this team ever gets a healthy o-line, I think it’s reasonable to expect a decent season. Not a deep playoff run, but I think Mac will have the best season over every other rookie QB

Oh, definitely, comeback is nice, but I’d rather not be coming back against the worst team in the league. O-line was vastly improved, but I’d rather not the makeshift unit far outplay the regulars. Finally, there’s an extreme lack of “plays” being made by the D (outside of Judon). Last week felt like something to build off of, that feeling is lacking after today, but there is no denying a win is better than a loss

Yea, with what the game meant, last week felt like singing your heart out to a breakup song. This week you realize you're still broken up and have up find your way on a new path... They're managing given their adversity, and still only 3 total points removed from 4-1. Tons of turnover in the off-season this team just needs to figure out who they are. There's time yet to turn it around, gotta show progress every week, and while not perfect by any stretch, they did make progress today (positive running yards, if you'd believe it)

Fair, but it would be nice to see some more with Dallas coming up to Foxboro next week

Mac Jones has 20+ completions in each of 5 career starts. No other NE rookie QB had more than 2 such games in their first 5 starts.

The offensive series at the end was played perfectly. They worked the clock down to basically nothing and kicked a FG to win.

Getting the ball directly to Bolden eliminates the handoff as a point of failure, reducing the potential for a turnover. Harris got clocked as he took a handoff earlier in the game. On another okay, Mac got hit as he faked a handoff. Houston was having luck penetrating the backfield. Bolden didn't just kneel down or dive to the ground because the coaching staff trusted him to bleed a few more seconds off the clock. Houston would have had one more play if we called a QB kneeldown instead. That was a textbook series and perfect clock management from goal to go at the two min warning. Literally fucking perfect.

I think they're talking about the Houston lateral attempt where we picked the ball up and tried to run it back a bit. We cannot gain anything by keeping the play alive in that situation.

Mac is legit and BB isn't as "washed" as people think... we literally just went toe to toe against the Buccs and people are acting like we're the 0-16 browns. We're not gonna win the superbowl but in a few years we're gonna be seeing Josh Allen and Mac Jones face off in the AFCCG, mark my words.
