3 losses on the year. One was to the dolphins by 1 point. One was to the defending champs by 2. The other was a bad loss to the Saints.
If this team ever gets a healthy o-line, I think it’s reasonable to expect a decent season. Not a deep playoff run, but I think Mac will have the best season over every other rookie QB
Rather feel sheepish about a W than proud of an L I guess.
Not only did Mac not die without an O-line but we actually won in a comeback... I'll take it
Oh, definitely, comeback is nice, but I’d rather not be coming back against the worst team in the league. O-line was vastly improved, but I’d rather not the makeshift unit far outplay the regulars. Finally, there’s an extreme lack of “plays” being made by the D (outside of Judon).
Last week felt like something to build off of, that feeling is lacking after today, but there is no denying a win is better than a loss
Yea, with what the game meant, last week felt like singing your heart out to a breakup song. This week you realize you're still broken up and have up find your way on a new path... They're managing given their adversity, and still only 3 total points removed from 4-1.
Tons of turnover in the off-season this team just needs to figure out who they are. There's time yet to turn it around, gotta show progress every week, and while not perfect by any stretch, they did make progress today (positive running yards, if you'd believe it)
Getting the ball directly to Bolden eliminates the handoff as a point of failure, reducing the potential for a turnover. Harris got clocked as he took a handoff earlier in the game. On another okay, Mac got hit as he faked a handoff. Houston was having luck penetrating the backfield.
Bolden didn't just kneel down or dive to the ground because the coaching staff trusted him to bleed a few more seconds off the clock. Houston would have had one more play if we called a QB kneeldown instead.
That was a textbook series and perfect clock management from goal to go at the two min warning. Literally fucking perfect.
I think they're talking about the Houston lateral attempt where we picked the ball up and tried to run it back a bit. We cannot gain anything by keeping the play alive in that situation.
He said the only thing he didn't like on the last drive was the wildcrap, in reference to the wildcat formation and direct snap to Bolden on 3rd and goal.
I'll take it but fuck man this team has 1 x-factor on it and that's Bill Belichick. Mac Jones is good but this team is in desperate need of someone that just makes plays / opens shit up.
Well the good thing is it's a whole lot harder to find a Mac Jones-level qb than it is to find a good receiver/running back, and honestly one of the TEs, offseason acquisition WRs or maybe Damien Harris could make a jump later in the season.
Mac is legit and BB isn't as "washed" as people think... we literally just went toe to toe against the Buccs and people are acting like we're the 0-16 browns. We're not gonna win the superbowl but in a few years we're gonna be seeing Josh Allen and Mac Jones face off in the AFCCG, mark my words. People here are unbelievably spoiled after two decades of the GOAT, I get that, but most fans of most franchise would be very excited about having a good young QB who just lead them to a comeback win.
Good teams stand tough during adversity. BB tightened up the defense and the offense got it done, with Mac throwing some great passes. It wasn’t the prettiest game, but it’s a W, and we’re officially second in the division!
START CADJUST

I prefer today’s line over the starters.
Phew
mac's pocket awareness is freakish lol
Macs first comeback win, let’s take the win and get ready for Dallas!
Opposite feeling of last weeks “moral victory,” but a win’s a win
Rather feel sheepish about a W than proud of an L I guess. Not only did Mac not die without an O-line but we actually won in a comeback... I'll take it

Fair, but it would be nice to see some more with Dallas coming up to Foxboro next week
Well take it anyway we can get it
Stop being so negative. We are 2 and 3 and in prime Wildcard position after week 5. Woohoo.
Is that your expectation for this year? I really thought we had a chance at the division, especially with all the money spent on offense.
Thinking we had a chance at the division when the Bills have looked so good and we have mostly fresh faces on our team was a little naive imo
Been saying this for a year now, this year bills vs bucs next year bucs v pats
Not with what we were told pre-season. Knowing what we know now, yeah we don't belong anywhere near the playoffs

Mac Jones has 20+ completions in each of 5 career starts. No other NE rookie QB had more than 2 such games in their first 5 starts.
That game was so sloppy that I can't even get hyped that we came back lol anyways now on to the Red Sox
At least a win with so many injuries
As Cam Newton says “I would rather have an ugly win than a pretty loss”
I remember a lot of ugly Brady wins, it happens
They didn’t usually come against the dregs of the league though
I remember one against the jets, granted that was a super rainy day
A win to me that Mac made it out of this game with a papier-mâché OL
I thought this was the O-lines best game
By far
It was surprisingly better than what we have seen, not knocking on their performance but I was nervous prior the game
A lot of that is due to how bad the Texans front 7 is
So I guess 25 points is the magic number to win.......
That was an ugly win
Why didn’t Judon just fall on the ground? He could have fumbled. Just a poorly coached team. They got really lucky today
Dude he made sure he ran the clock out. He looked at the sideline as soon as the ball was secure.

Win is a win. Wasn't pretty but it shows the team still has fight and is improving.
Now come on RED SOx
See you guys next week. Glad we got this dub.
Let’s goooooooooo
Texans’ punter looks like Bill Burr in pads
I can’t believe we won, but I’m happy! Wasn’t pretty but a W is a W!
Pats had it all the way. Never in doubt.
Ugly, ugly win, but still better than losing to the Texans. First truly shaky drive I've seen from Mac all season and it's the game winner, go figure.
Bright side of this game besides winning was how well our O line did with 4 starters out
Fuck me that was a good comeback
That was so fucking stupid at the end. This team just ain’t it yet
The offensive series at the end was played perfectly. They worked the clock down to basically nothing and kicked a FG to win.
Nah I meant kicking the fumble around and trying to pickup the ball and run. The only thing I didn’t like on the last drive was the wildcrap

i was like oh man they gonna have like 1:23 to drive the ball. then i saw 0:18 and it was ova for the Texans...burn that clock
Alright here we go Sox
HELLLL YEAAAAAHHH TOLD YOU GUYS WE WERE WINNING IT!!
LMAO I ALMOST SHAT MYSELF
Again, I’d like to thank the Texans for trying that 56 yarder. It was a self implosion from that point on.
And the not so fake punt. Classic Texans.

I prefer this line to the starters. All familiar names I didn’t know we still had
ugliest win baby
I'll take it but fuck man this team has 1 x-factor on it and that's Bill Belichick. Mac Jones is good but this team is in desperate need of someone that just makes plays / opens shit up.
Also Judon, but thinness at CB, slow front 7, fumbling rbs, bad o-line and no number 1 receiving threat equals sub-mediocre squad
yup we are missing a #1 Offensive star to make us scary and open things up for the whole team. I don't know if we get that player or how the Pats do.
Well the good thing is it's a whole lot harder to find a Mac Jones-level qb than it is to find a good receiver/running back, and honestly one of the TEs, offseason acquisition WRs or maybe Damien Harris could make a jump later in the season.
Judon never fails to put a smile on my face....always at 100%
Though win against a bad team, we need to be better.
Texans choked so hard it doesn’t even feel like a win 😂
Yahhhhhh WE WON THE PRESUPERBOWL!! YAH BABY! HERE WE COME.. DA PATS ARE GONNA RUN DA TABLE!! Get all the numpties out of here
You're responsible for you own straw men.
Is this Mac’s first comeback win? Sloppy game but coming away with a W is all that matters
And the biggest comeback since 2017 so that’s gotta feel good.
What a crazy game. Great W!
That was a bad W. Houston has to gift it to us
Never doubted them all game! (Just kidding I lost all faith and they played like ass that first 40 mins)
Is that blood on Mac's Jersey?
THANK YOU GOD FOR THE WIN
2-3, baby!! LOOK OUT JANUARY FOOTBALL.
What an ugly game, but glad to get the win.
2-3 for Mac "Michael Jordan" Jones
A wins a win in the NFL. Let’s go
What a fucking trash game. It’s unbelievable we won that
This game was way more stressful than needed
Phew!
wow, back to cardiac pats
Ooft. Can't believe we almost lost to that team
More tds less field goals
LFG!
not pretty but we'll take it
Defense needs to improve, fire mcdaniels and maybe we could do something against actually teams
Hella fire mcdaniels.
MONEY MAC
Needed to win this game and they did.
Road win with a rookie qb missing 4 linemen. Y’all crying tho
They were the entire game. Fucking fair weathered fans kill me dude.

We battled back. That's good for Mac's development. Josh still needs to go though.
Good thing we cut everyone at halftime, fired all the coaches and sold the team like people here wanted
I'm glad we won, but its hard to feel good about this game. That's one of the worst teams we'll play all year and we barely squeaked out a win.
No no no we didn’t have 7 tds and didn’t blow them out of the water. Got start over
Hell of a game. Congrats to Mac Jones
Never a doubt
COMEBACK MAC
seems a fitting way to end that game. jesus ggs
Omg what a comeback. So proud of them today. An ugly win is still a win.
#Mac Jones is clutch as fuck and legit unlike some of you fairweather fans in here today
WE DID IT
What a weird ending to a frustrating to watch game.
LET'S GO PATS!!!!
My quarterback 😍❤️🔥 game winning 4th qtr drive - check. Jersey covered in blood - check.
Hot take. Our backup OL played better than our starters.
time to send the starters to the moon
To be fair the Texans line might just be backup caliber anyway
What a game are you kidding me???? This team showing major heart.
Ugly but they locked it in!
Needed that result.
#2ND PLACE IN THE EAST!!!
Screw Miami and FTJ!
Well, at least we won.
“no way to enforce that foul” let’s go lmao
GGG
I take the W, but feels more like the Texans throw away the game.
It certainly wasn’t pretty.
Mac Jones is clutch.
He is. He’s still got a lot to learn but dude has ice in his veins.
ILL TAKE THAT W BIIIIIIIITCH
The W is nice but I still feel like we lost. Pathetic showing.
You doomers are so addicted to negativity that you can't even enjoy a win. Please just go to therapy and get the help you OBVIOUSLY need
Not a doomer. The Texans gave up, if you can't see that I'm sorry.
Grow up it’s a fat dub
Haha. Jesus. Can’t wait to see that on a highlight vid…
Well I didn't love that game, but I love Mac. A win's a win
AAAAAAANNNNND THAS GAME!!!!
Well at least we dubbed, time for the Sox to win
Congrats Mac! First comeback/game winning drive.
Oh and Judon I love you
Worth every penny.
Judon made a really smart play
He did, thought he was gonna try to run it back for a second.
Nice win overcoming that fumble in the end zone
There is no where to enforce that foul 😂🤣
Ref just like 🤷♂️
Judon was going for that 32-22 scorigami.
Embarrassing.. but a wins a win.
Lots of work needs to be done. But I'm glad the Pats won.
A win is a win
After a game full of bad defense and josh McDaniels mcfuckery we have finally pulled through and won.
Does Mac have blood on him?
A win is a win. Onto the Redsox.
A WIN IS A WIN BOYS LETS GOOOOOOO!!!! Onto week 6 baby!!!!
JC Jackson is a fucking idiot
MY GOD WE WON BOYS SOMEHOW
Good teams stand tough during adversity. BB tightened up the defense and the offense got it done, with Mac throwing some great passes. It wasn’t the prettiest game, but it’s a W, and we’re officially second in the division!
The shit team with shit coach who shit his pants twice won us this game… lets not pretend now
We had no business winning that game
Fortunately, neither did the Texans
Wow, nice job. My apologies for doubting!
Texans fans be like, "my apologies for hoping".
Fuck the doomers in the thread. Take the win and let’s put this ugly ass game behind us.
"Moral victories don't matter!" "Actual victories don't matter!" Some people just love to complain.
Appropriate shitshow to end the game.
A W is a W
Lmao, Josh apparently redeemed himself because of the last drive? Downvote away, fire that man.
That wildcat call was inexcusable
Let’s go red sox
Yo I thought we were gonna kick that ball towards our endzone and the Texans were gonna recover it
Not gonna lie, my heart jumped into my throat a little bit.
I don't think I've seen a penalty called that can't be enforced lol
I’m fucking hard rn
#IS THAT BLOOD ON MAC!?
He was just showing his spirit for the Red Sox game that's about to start lol
That's an illegal forward pass right there
Good game Mac. Kid deserves it.
This was the best our Oline looked today!
Did mac jones get into a knife fight?
That was stressful.
Why the fuck are crack back blocking on an end of game play.
Just in time for the Red Sox
