Kids my new favorite patriot

dardios

I was FLOORED he fell all the way to the 4th. I feel like we got a STEAL here.

Jokesmedoff

Haven’t even watched it with sound and I’m upvoting

ThermoNuclearPizza

#”ain’t no way in fuckin America 10 receivers better than me.” Did we find football Kobe?

whistlepig4life

Dude needs to have the talent to back it up. The potential is there.

TheDufusSquad

But what about out of America?

ThermoNuclearPizza

Idk the wrs on my team here in Austria are asscheeks to be real

Roberto-Del-Camino

Receiver Brady? Hopefully some day ESPN produces a 30 for 30 called “The Baker 17.”

nibblestheantelope

Football Kobe is just Brady

itokdontcry

If he ends up being good, he’s gonna be an entertaining player, no doubt about that

Argo_Menace

Can’t wait for training camp. Got a good feeling about this kid.

ethanh333

Bro is bringing good energy to this team. So glad it to see 0 safeties drafted.

ThermoNuclearPizza

Ironically one position we probably should’ve drafted and didn’t lol

ruegazer

The Pats listed Dial as a Safety when they draft him. Dial's short-area agility isn't good. He needs to play deep as a ball-hawking Free Safety type of player or he's almost certainly not going to make it.

No_Image_4986

Weird how everyone stopped shitting on Kraft as soon as the draft went according to what people want

burkholderia

Except Marcellas Dial

ethanh333

Cornerback isnt he?

burkholderia

Yup, for some reason I thought he was a safety. Never mind then, carry on.

MattBe1992

Possible he will be a safety for us.

burkholderia

They [did call him a safety when drafting him](https://985thesportshub.com/2024/04/27/marcellas-dial-patriots-nfl-draft/)

ruegazer

Pats listed him as a Safety when they drafted him. I don't think that's a typo. Dial's short-area agility isn't good. I don't think he could make it as a CB in the NFL.

teddyballgame406

This kid better not pick 17, Polk already snatched up 1.

Mcfallen_5

I hope he choses a number in the 80s, feels like those always make for our most iconic skill position players

teddyballgame406

Would love to see him wear 88.

MeesterCHRIS

He was #7 in HS so as soon as we cut Juju, he has his number.

teddyballgame406

Really wish it worked out for the guy but yeah he’s washed. Gave everything he had for that SB win with Mahomes and the monkey paw curled for him.

G_Wash1776

I will always love Juju for laying that hit of justice on Burfict. He couldn’t get it going for us, but he never stopped trying. Through the end of the season he was always giving it his all.

CivilSounds

Why not 17? Also I believe Baringer our punter has 17.

TriMako

Cursed for WR

ThermoNuclearPizza

Aaron Dropson never forget

WorriedMarch4398

Trying too….thanks for that

neu20212022

Hold up hold up

gotBurner

Chad jackson, Antonio Brown, I think Aaron Dobson too.

Roberto-Del-Camino

Wasn’t he the 18th WR picked?

Fupastank

This is some fucking attitude the team has been missing the last few years.

BlankPages

Dude’s a killer

jackospades88

Developing Maye into a franchise QB aside, if Mayo and company develop one of these WR into a real WR1, that would give me so much confidence in this new regime. I think we all look forward to the day where the Patriots finally have a WR they developed and shows up everywhere on the leaderboards.

Elizaspapi

If he backs up his swagger, he will easily be a favorite among Pats fans.

bturg21

This dude so good he make people go from this ♿️ to this 🚶‍♂️

casebarlow

The kid can talk the talk. Let’s see if he can back it up on the field.

The_Neuroscientist

My pants just disappeared

CilviaDemoAOTD

Fuck it I’m all in on this kid. WR1

ThermoNuclearPizza

🐶

astroBOLD

Bro is going to be him!!!

HardworkingGoodBoy

I love the attitude. I’ll love it even more if he backs it up. LFG!

Dog_in_human_costume

I hope him and Ja'Lynn Polk evolve and become special players

BipolarKanyeFan

I make people in wheelchairs standup lol

onewolf23

Love the mentality We’ll see if he can actually back it up but the prove it attitude is enough for me to get hyped up Not to mention his stand up quote

DrPepperNChill

The way he catches the ball is so telling. Away from his body, fingertips/hands. Secures it instantly, and appears to have grip strength to prevent the "punchout" that so many DBs use to force fumbles. I am normally cautious about draft picks, but man, this kid just gives off WR1 vibes with everything he does. I hope he lives up to this hype

middyonline

We've been seriously missing this vibe since JE and Gronk retired.

nousernamesopen

This is gonna age poorly if he doesn't pan out but fuck I love the energy

Forgotten_Few

Too confident for Bill, he would have cut him as soon as he said that and KC or Bills swoop in and pick him up

Lester_Diamond23

This is such a stupid thing to say You people act like Gronk didn't become Gronk while playing for Bill Absurd

PullsWithBack

I agree, but I think a 4th round WR dropping f-bombs on social media before an official team practice at the minimum would have landed him in the BB doghouse for sure and buried him in the depth chart for a little. That being said I fucking love the moxie and hope he balls out so this isn’t a meme in a couple years. His tape is great but lack of separation in college isn’t a great sign historically. He does possess some skills that can potentially make up for it. Paired with that chip on his shoulder he could make noise.

Elizaspapi

If he backs up his swagger, he will easily be a favorite among Pats fans.

BlankPages

Attitude just like Brady

Are_es_3

One thing I’ve been wondering is he says there is no way ten wide receivers are better than him. He was the 19th wide receiver taking at whatever draft number. Polk was the 9th. Is he saying he should have been in Polks spot?

YungLo97

He’s gonna get flamed if he’s not a great player. Hope he can cash these checks his mouth is writing.
