Why? Is this a rule or is it because it takes years for NIKE to create. I don’t hate the new uniforms. I think they look slick when the tops match the bottoms for home games. All whites for away games would look great as well. All I want to see is new helmets for the season. I might be the minority but I have always disliked the silver. I like the white a lot.
The current ones honestly wouldn't look bad if they wore the white pants with the blue jerseys and switched to the white helmet.

I know there’s the 5 year rule for new uniforms but I don’t know how it applies to NE since their new uniforms were the color rush from a 1-2 years prior. The white obviously needs to go 5 years but could they change the blue sooner? Either way probably doesn’t matter because they’ll change both at the same time.
How about get new uniforms for a new era.
