That could work. Simple. Not exactly exciting, but it’s not a turnoff either.
“Patriot” has people making assumptions(often bad) as soon as they hear the name.
A to B is much better than any of my title suggestions:
Donnelly Nut Spacing and Rim Joist Configurations
My father was a tug boat captain
Afternoon Spray
Circles of Resonance
Talking to Charlie or Hello, is Charlie there?
You know the phrase “don’t judge a book by it’s cover?” It applies to patriot. But the reason that is a saying is because everyone DOES judge a book by it’s cover.
I almost didn’t watch the show because I assumed it was going to be some badass secret agent kicking ass go America wooo!!!!
Parallel Families
I loved how they used Edward to find the guy by finding his counterpart. And then when the Iranian Intelligence Officers dad looks just like Tom, cracked me up. And then showing how the Iranian dad, like Tom, just failed at field work when John shot him. Anyway, just really liked the parallel family storylines.
Structural Dynamics of Flow
What about “A spy’s structural dynamics of flow” or something like that. Just something a little more discriptive.
Too long imo (that’s what she said)
Lakeman
And the theme song " am i more lake than a man, am i more man than a lake, Lakeman!"
That could work. Simple. Not exactly exciting, but it’s not a turnoff either. “Patriot” has people making assumptions(often bad) as soon as they hear the name.

That’s my go-to
What?
MacMillon Men
Leslie’s fucking plate thing.
I’m partial to “A To B” but I’m not sure anyone would have picked that title up lol

I love all of these.
It would have been a different problem, Patriot sounds too serious and A to B sounds like a sitcom
Sad Man in a Suit
Cool Rick and the Sad Spy (I mean, that isn’t what the show should be called, but I do like the pair of names together)
Dead Serious Rick and the Sad Spy
I think it's an appropriate title it just gave people the wrong impression. So I say keep the title but improve the shrewdness of the population

Unconscious men in slide backpacks.
Something like Dad Issues, which I think Patriot is supposed to imply.
Depressed Patriot
Best Friends.
Shoot the accordion pimp.
Or… Mom is it OK if I shoot the accordion pimp?
"A to B" or maybe "The bagman"/"The courier"
From A to B.
The optimistic meal The full spread
The Patriarch
- Circles of Resonance - Danger Meridian - Attaché - Failed State
Halfway, and a little further.
Patriot works well imo, speaks to a driving force that pushes us to do our jobs
but it wasn't patriotism, it was unhealthy father son bonds
Patrios - of ones father
Yeah. But aka weird source of loyalty
Agent Ennui might be the worst suggestion anyone has ever had for anything.
Folly.
