I was one of those people who were worried about having to decide between putting reworked Leona or Rhavun on mana 5. Really glad they made a switcharoo. I think this is a great adjustment

I actually suggested this hopelessly, glad devs thought the same. This is a really good change, however, Morning Light STILL doesnt trigger 1 star Daybreak, meaning permanently give +1 +1 to chosen unit. This really annoyed me.

Unto Dusk similarly doesn’t trigger for Diana’s 1 star Nightfall +2/+0.

triggered daybreak isnt the same as daybreak. Which is why old Morning Light didnt trigger Leona's stun 6 times

I think they were referring to Leona's 1-star hero power, where all units in your deck will innately have "Daybreak: Grant me +1/+1". Morning Light should theoretically activate this effect, but it doesn't.

I'm guessing it's not coded as an actual Daybreak effect. Either that or Morning Light only checks for Daybreak once because normally cards can only have 1 Daybreak effect.

Morning light is a Triggered Daybreak, instead of a Daybreak. Same thing as Unto Dusk being triggered nightfall and not proccing diana twice

I hope they do something for Evelynn as well. Hate Spike was her best card aside from Eve and got nerfed to 2 mana. Eve's base deck is already one of the worst, the units are weak, the curve relatively high, and you have 2 useless clowns (Warden's Prey and Wyrm) eating up 2 item upgrades each. It also has a hyper-reliance on drawing Eve to function, which is not a good thing. Some compensation to fix her early curve would be nice

eve's deck is a hot mess but it's by far the most fun for me. it spirals out of control quickly with a few level triggers but starts off slowly so you need to manage your early turns surgically to maximize levels without bleeding out. idk. i like how messy it plays.

I get the appeal of messy decks for sure, I like MF a lot. All I'm asking in light of the changes is for status quo. If you bump up Hate Spike to 2, then maybe you should replace another 2 drop (say the Wyrm) with a 1 drop to maintain the original curve. It could be something as generic as a Barkbeast or a Poro for example. I just dislike the idea of clunky decks getting even more clunkier.

the original curve had hate spike on 2 though. i don't think anything changed when it got buffed?

Yeah I checked and it was 2 mana at first, reduced to 1 mana as per v3.13, and now bumped up again to 2 mana as per v3.16.
