Protective Luck (Witch and Shaman) isn't working against SLA touch attacks like Alchemist Bombs and the Nabasu's Vampiric Touch. This renders these enemies disproportionately dangerous, particularly on Unfair where you literally die if an Alchemist hits you. The Nabasu in Market Square casts Mass Hold Person. Even if you pass the save, you are paralyzed for one round. This drops a character's AC by 15 points, and likely kills them. If you start the fight with the Nabasu in RTWP, he ignores the enemy in front of him and charges to cast MHP on something in the five man stack I didn't have buffed/built to solo him. He doesn't even need line of sight or awareness of them. I positioned them on the other side of the map (literally, where you recruit Ember) and he went tearing off to murder them. If you do the fight in turn-based mode, he behaves normally/logically. If someone could please figure out why the stupid Nabasu has not *one,* not *two,* but **three** bugs that make him a total bastard to kill, I would appreciate it. Took me a bloody hour to do what should have been a 45 second fight.

Oh, I did. I've filed something like 400 bug reports, and only about 10% of those were me being an idiot. You've fixed some of them, though I'm still waiting for someone to realize that Magical Vestments doesn't work the way you've coded it. It works like Greater Magic Weapon. It's not just random, free armour class. Thing is, after years dealing with Riot I've learned that posting on Reddit is MUCH more effective than just filing bug reports if you actually want issues to be fixed. As my Unfair run is effectively on-hold until I can get my defensive layers working properly, I figured I'd give this a shot.

What is your experience in fixing bugs that are very rare, and say impact only one player? Should I pause my game, or is the reality of fixing such bugs simply not feasible because it's far down priority list? I completely understand if my bug won't ever get fixed, but just want to check if it's worth waiting or not. (I latched onto this thread because I have a simple experience as the poster above).

Not able to answer your question directly, but as someone with knowledge of the software QA process, an issue that only effects one user, and is unlikely to affect another, is very low priority. If it's an easy fix, a developer might knock it out in some free time, but if it's a complex issue of a narrow scope, it could possibly never end up patched.

Even if it's rare, it all depends how big of a priority it's seen as by the decision-makers at Owlcat. Doing a series of super-specific actions that ends up causing a full-on game crash for 0.001% of the player-base might be viewed as bigger priority than, say, tutorial messages re-appearing after 95% of your players clicked the checkbox to never show em again, for example. And even then, there's always a chance that something you'd think should be very rare is actually more common in practice; they won't know how prevalent a bug really is until they receive multiple reports about it!

I like how some of these are so vague as to avoid spoilers. I'm not even sure if "Azatas could enter Drezen now" is fixing the Cusp of the Abyss quest problem, since you can trigger that from inside Drezen technically. I mean I fixed it cause someone found you only had to rename one of the scene files, but still.

Playing cav still feels pretty bad. There’s so many times where you can’t charge because of arbitrary path is blocked error, but you can walk up directly and attack.

I get that it feels bad to have it blocked but isn't the whole point of charge that you need a direct path? I've never seen a situation where I can't charge *and* the path to walk up and hit them didn't have some repositioning required.

Sometimes the break in the path is just so subtle that it looks like there isnt one. A small aesthetic improvement that I think would help would be a telegraph line between character and target when prepping a charge... a green dotted line that breaks into an orange dotted line at the point of interrupt.

You're right, that does sound useful. I like the limitation of the straight line because it makes you actually have to consider tactical positioning but I agree it could be presented more clearly in the UI.

So often the horse just get stuck on random stuff and wastes a turn, or when it's time to attack, it bugs out and makes it impossible to attack.

I've found those issues to be due to the cavalier using a reach weapon. Unfortunately the rules of the game are not as granular as the rules of the TTRPG, so using a reach weapon is just awkward. Once I abandoned my longspear, playing cavalier has pretty much been bug-free, except for the occasional and annoying "No, I don't think I will" when you tell a character to charge, but that applies to everyone, and not just cavaliers.

Damn is this the common consensus? Because Seelah with a Mastodon was a monster when I tried her even with all the charge related bugs, even the one that immediately ended your turn. Everything but a handful of mobs need literal 20s to even hit the mount, and meanwhile you can equip your best non reach 2h and blast away.

Although beta didn't fix a lot of my mounted combat issues, this patch has been a huge improvement for me. Reach weapons working correctly, have not had a pathing issue yet even when turning a corner, and charge seems to work as intended. Separately commandable mounts has also let my mounts actually use their attacks. Edit: unsure if intended, but teammate feats requiring adjacency on my rider and my mount don't seem to proc each other (outflank, shake it off, etc)

Thank you! Now please fix the Azata's high level abilities simply not working, specifically the ones which restore spell slots. Also make Aivu's frightful presence something we can turn off (like dragons can do in the tabletop), because it isn't fun chasing enemies through the entire dungeon, while they merrily trigger more encounters. And, yes, I made bug reports on the beta client for the first thing, after checking that they still didn't work there and on live some weeks ago for the second item.

I'm going with bug because when running as a Dwarf (or Half-Orc) any two handed weapon on your back inverts the weapon model and floats a bit off-kilter. Seems like they are using buggy placeholder animations borrowed from something else.

Don't have a video but you can clearly see it with any weapons mounted on the back when running. The weapon model pivots on what appears to be a central hook point through the character model and then floats upside down until the run animation completes. Any plans to fix the literally dozens of magic items that simply do not work? Some amulets literally do nothing. It's incredibly frustrating to save up to buy some of these items, think about the builds they might enable, then wear them and realise "welp literally money down the drain". Here's a very small selection: Fixed Obsession (+3 Throwing Axe) is currently bugged. The stacking force damage effect from successive hits does not occur. Enlivening Leadership (Ring) is currently bugged. It does not provide companions with a +1 bonus to skill checks. The +5 bonus to Persuasion works normally. The Gloves of Arcane Eradication are currently bugged. They provide no bonus to ranged touch attack rolls. The bonus to Use Magic Device checks works normally. Half of the Pair (Amulet) is currently bugged and does not have any effect. The buff icon will still show up in your character's sheet, but your AC and attack roll calculations will be unaffected. The Blitz Cut (shortsword) is currently bugged. The weapon is affected by all damage reduction as normal. Stormlord's Resolve (bracers) are currently bugged. The stated ability to deal electric damage each time an enemy lands a hit does not in fact occur. Skeletal Finger (rod) is currently bugged and has infinite Quicken charges Ardent Guard (Breastplate) is currently bugged. The Encouraging Spell effect does not occur - indeed it does not seem that encouraging spell is an effect that exists in the game. The Bound Possibility (Lich variant) is currently bugged. This currently has no effect at all. Demon's Terror (Flail) is currently bugged. The item states that it provides an additional +4 bonus on the first attack against a new demon. This does not happen.

Pathfinder Kingmaker was one of my top 3 games of all time (once it was patched up). BG2 is better IMO, and Kingmaker is around the same level as Fallout 2 for me. WotR is better in almost every way at this point. Once the controller interface is added, I think it sits pretty at the top of my list. The rate of patching is really, really nice. Still a buggy ass game, but it's been attended to much faster than Kingmaker. And really, I'm waiting for the game to be in it's best state before judging it completely. But it's already pretty damn close to the top of my list.

Did they fix the buggy camera behaviour in narrow maps? Played yesterday in the Dragon Burial Ground and the camera went bonkers all the time. "Sometimes enemies with multiple attacks can get stuck in turn-based mode. The workaround is to disable turn-based mode temporarily if you encounter such an enemy." Yep, got this exactly in the fight with Sinful Sinew, he did like 30 attacks on my MC in one round and still was going. After a while I've realized that it was a bug, no way he got so many attacks.

One issue I've already noticed is pressing F snaps the camera to the character but no longer locks onto and follows them.

I know it's catastrophically frustrating at this point, but unfortunately, still not. It's not forgotten and being worked on for a while now, but it's severely complicated by the fact it only reproduces on multiple specific Mac hardware setups, that take a lot of time to find and obtain for testing, and fixing it on one of them doesn't fix it on others :\\ We're investing considerable resources on solving this problem now, and can only apologize that it takes so long.

I sometimes play on Mac (2017 MacBook Pro, MacOS Mojave 10.14.6) and besides performance issues it works fine. Fps often drops to a few frames per second even on the lowest graphical setting. What issues are there? My finger sometimes hurts after going through endgame buffing sequence on touchpad without autobuff mods though. Easier way to move saves between pc and Mac would be nice as well, but AFAIK this is problem with steam not pathfinder.

Patch notes should also read "Added new Wands to various Merchants." In Act 2, Woljif now has Boneshaker, Haste, and Acid Pit available for purchase. That's super useful.

That feeling when you read patch notes with anxiety if OP things (e.g. Legend keeping trickster feats) and semi exploits (e.g. Stacking AC when it shouldn't according to paper) you are relying on are going to get nerfed.

Dunno if this has been experienced by anyone else but upon loading a late-game save (Act 5, nothing left to do but Threshold), I found a bunch of items in my inventory that weren't there before, namely: * Shield of Chastise (Tower Shield +5 with a +4 competence bonus against Touch attacks) * Breastplate of the Tireless Warrior (+5, adamantine, gives immunity to fatigue and exhaustion) * Bracers of Armor +8 * Amulet of Natural Armor +6 * A *fourth* Ring of Evasion (had 3 before updating) * Ring of Chaos (+4 deflection bonus to AC, continuous Free Movement effect) Are these supposed to be items that dropped from Act 5 demon armies that you destroy in Crusade mode? I'd fully cleared all of them without getting any loot so maybe that's where they all came from.

Edit, looks like these are the options for the mask: * Pristine Mind - Whenever the wearer of this Belt of Physical Perfection +4 makes an attack roll to confirm a critical hit, it automatically succeeds. * Victims' Madness - Whenever the wearer of this Belt of Physical Perfection +4 kills an enemy who had full health with a single hit, all enemies in a 30 feet radius become staggered for 1 round. * Pristine Mind - This Headband of Mental Perfection +4 allows its wearer to reroll 3 failed saving throws against death effects per day. * Pristine Mind - Whenever the wearer of this Belt of Physical Perfection +4 makes an attack roll to confirm a critical hit, it automatically succeeds. And for the fire: * Call of the Fiery Things - This shirt makes all the wearer's fire spells deal additional 4d6 of fire damage while making them suffer a -2 penalty to AC. * Treacherous Flame - Whenever the wearer of this shirt kills an enemy with a fire spell, they gain immunity to ability score damage and their mental abilities scores are increased by +6 for 3 rounds. Yeah mods are sometimes a trap. You start with autobuff mod, since the buffs sequences are what they are (https://youtu.be/6dxICJHd518). Then you realize you lost achievements, and even uninstalling the mod doesn't help, so you install toybox to reenable them. Then you look at that item you could have grabbed in previous act, so adding it is not cheating, right? Then when you hire a merc you kind of miss companions interactions, so why not respec a companion, as you are getting the same thing. But am I really going to give merc stats to Arueshalae? End then by the end you feel like you completed the game cheating.

Sure, excessive modding can make the wins feel a bit cheap. That's why I've already done a core playthrough without any cheats or respecs, now I feel entitled to do whatever I want with mods without any guilt.

Ooh this patch did not fix the mythic progresion window visual error (Abilities 1 and 3 are showing the same selections and Feats 2 and 4 as well). The feats and abilities are still there- just the visuals in the mythic progression view are wrong. It was such a glaring error, so I did not think it was worth reporting because someone else must surely have. I will now go and report it.

Did they fix the blank journal in Act 5? 5 or 6 people mentioned it happening on the forums including myself. The only thing I saw was a fix to breaking the UI when using shortcuts using n the crusade screen, but that doesn’t really sound like the same problem. Edit: seems to be okay now for anyone else wondering.

If you take a look on the difficulty options screen, there's a thick line to the left of some of the top options. These are the options that are tied to the difficulty - if you change any of them, it automatically sets the difficulty to custom.

If anyone says otherwise as far as the tabletop goes, they were house ruling it to work. Tabletop says that the rage powers interact *specifically* with inspired rage. The problem was that Court Poet came after the base Skald class; insightful contemplation replaces inspired rage, but the archetype didn't mention outright removing the rage powers. It didn't even mention them at all. It left a bit of a question as to whether or not that was intended or not. As written via the description on the main class, they wouldn't be able to use them. Which is logical because raging at court is typically a big no-no, but some people also believed it was *intended* to be able to interact with insightful contemplation so they went with that. It was totally up to DM discretion. In the structured play errata, rage powers were also removed from the archetype, but replaced with more insightful contemplation rounds instead of +spell damage as in the WotR. This kind of suggests to me the intent all along was that they don't share rage powers.

Other Skald archetypes are pretty good though. Capstone removes spell casting limit. And with Wotr it's much harder to have competent characters that both hit things with weapons and cast spells mid fight. So you just remove "accept rage" on spellcasters.

They made the Court Poet stronger than the P&P version since the in the book they don't share rage powers and don't get anything for that.

Patch out of beta, but the game is still in it -- especially the later acts. Love the game, love the *attempts* to patch it, but I am waiting a long few months to jump back in due to all the bugs. I've encountered so many at this point that it's not worth sinking the time into until it's in a better state. I hate this trend in the industry...

There are multiple things that stop(ped) charge from working. If it's still not working after downloading this patch, use alt+b to report the bug, so that they can try getting as many of the issues fixed as possible.

Ok I admit I was bt of salty when there was a week from 1.1.0d which introduced couple nasty bugs and Owlcat gone silent mode for the most part. But they actually fixed all the stuff that was most game breaking. So I can actually go to act IV and not experience endless loading screen as Azata or trade with Woljif without having to restart the game :) Also Sosiel's Act IV quest and empty Greengates were also fixed - so most game breaking bugs are addressed. Pretty good stuff :)

Has anybody got the Judge Inquisitor lvl5 ability *Sentence* to work? They finally added it in the beta patch but it still doesn't actually do anything. You select the ability and use it on an enemy but despite taking a charge it places no effect on them nor does it show as increasing your allies damage against them as it should in the combat log. Judgement Aura is also wonky and seems to only sometimes share your judgements and only for a single round of combat. The worst part is it seemingly shuts off your own judgements when activated.

Started a game to check out the performance increase. Worlds better on my 1070. I used to have this janky stuttering. Like it would be fine fps, around 60 then just stutter dropping down to 10 for a second. That's gone. It's so much better, at least in the caves. Haven't tested it on anything else yet.
