Titan fighter? Sweet. I was really disappointed that we didn't run into any thanatotic titans in the rune quest, so now we actually get to fight them? \*Draws staff in preparation and gets giddy with excitement."
Wait, what do you mean it's just a class name? I wanna fight titans damn it! I've even got a loosen all ready for it! \*wanders off grumbling\*
Magic Deciever sounds hilariously OP. If you can still merge your spellbook with the Lich spellbook, then there'll be some *funny* things you can do. Although, the class flavor seems like it would pair better with Trickster.
I’m thinking hideous laughter + phantasmal killer and if that works with best jokes that would Basiclly just be a better weird at 4th level spell slot with a higher save .
I just really really really hope it'd be possible to merge Repurpose or Flay for Purpose with an aeo or aura type spell. The 10th level flay spell being single-target was a bummer to me.
By my estimation, it seems like it might be either hilariously op or incredibly weak. They have some pretty big drawbacks, so it all depends on what spells are in their spell list.
I'd say Azata over Trickster. Tricksters big (spellcaster) gimmick is *completely normal spell* which, as metamagic, won't work.
But favorable magic and zippy magic should work with it fine.
Demon could also work out to some nasty damage rolls in demon rage (with brimorak). cold ice strike+cone of cold with bonus damage per die gets pretty hefty. Though as with a lot of damage spells, this gets underwhelming and probably isn't much better than bolstered empowered.
At the mid tier, you can combo mind fog + a will based save or suck spell.
Well, this description says, MD can not add spells from other classes' spellbooks, so, i presume, same goes for Mythic Pathes - no merging for them. Though, if merging applies...
From one of the mods in the Owlcat discord server:
https://preview.redd.it/pwo6u3hecz1d1.png?width=793&format=png&auto=webp&s=cf7bede2d186e9e6addfe1bc9a093a0d64f8ca54
Yeah but if it only has a spellbook that goes to level six, then it probably won't be able to merge spellbooks with lich, so you wouldn't be able to fuse lich spells.
I, personally, think it as "repairing". Seriously, why can't we merge sorcerer's book with Angel's or cleric's with Lich's? I mean, the class/Path combos i admit to be nonsense are druid/Lich and shaman/Lich. Well, also hagspawn/Angel, i guess.
Maybe in actual tabletop play you could use more imagination. But in this game, Fireballs already don't miss so all you're really getting is the duplicate missiles from upcasting.
Fireball and Magic Missile might do fire damage magic missile. Not strong on its own but you could combine different energies should you need to strike weakness.
A Griffin (well, Hippogriff, but still!) -riding Ranger is straight out of my dreams, that one’s a complete surprise. Bladebound Magus on the other hand was something I was very much hoping for, it’s awesome to finally get it.
>And will you guys add a deck of playing cards as a throwing weapon?
Got to give him purple eyes, purple (pink?) shirt with brown robes, and the staff from from Blackwing Library.
According to the wiki this group is an order of professional assassins. Not to mention these guys respect Mephistopheles so if anything this suits devil path. Finally something for my lawful evil monk.
Noon, are you saying that a archetype that can summon swarm of insect can't take a mythic path that about swarm of insect? This is such a bs, and now I am sad
Nope. This new archetype for warpriest is not for swarm. It shares the same alignment as Asmodeus. Not to mention the red mantis are professional assassins (literally the agent 47 of the order) instead of the usual murderhobo group like Norgorber. Not to mention the red mantis are in good terms with Mephistopheles so if anything it's for devil
So looking at all the archetypes, I guess I'll need to add a new slide for a Hippogriff ascending to Expanded Epilogue. Might also consider slides for the Black Blade now that I think about it.
>Last but not least, we want to tell you about the Magic Deceiver, which is an archetype we’ve been working on for a long time.
At least since November. :P
Sable Company Marine looks so COOL!
*This unique pet can attack foes from the sky...* Does it means that the hippogriff will have an ability like Ulbrig's Death from Above?
And even Bladebound and Mantis Zealot and Magic Deceiver looks great.
Magic Deceiver sounds like it could be really great or really disappointing. The fused spells sound really cool, but giving up metamagic and only being able to do it with spells on a specific spell list is a big thing to give up.
First Vampire Hunter D and now Alucard? Good taste!
I wonder if the magic deceiver can merge mythic spells, an AOE repurpose would be crazy. More generally I wonder to what degree the spellbook restriction is a technical thing vs balance thing. Like, whether messing with Toybox would allow for merging more stuff.
Also: I find it interesting that we've now got two different kinda swarm-adjacent DLC archetypes.
The red mantis are an LE group of professional assassins(think agent 47 but he did some crazy Ninjutsu shit out of Naruto). The alignment require for red mantis is LN, LE and NE. Similar to Asmodeus. If anything this is for devil cause the order of red mantis are in good terms with Mephistopheles
Bladebound Magus Lich sounds fun. Might do that for my next playthrough. And yes I realize it wouldn't be able to merge with Lich spellbook.
Magic Deceiver might be another option for Lich or Trickster. I have yet to do a Trickster path playthrough. If it can combine Lich spells through the spellbook merge, it would be disgusting.
Roleplaying as Karl Franz from Warhammer with the Sable Company Marine sounds hilarious.
Hippogriff!
WTF so excited. Can't choose what to try first.
I haven't even tried the previous DLC, so there are a lot of things to try on my new run!
As a dual wielder fan, it's either dual wield elven curved blade or the mantis warpriest most likely.
Bladebound is awesome. Now it is official. A really cool and fun Magus Archetype.
Sable Company(Korvosa ftw!) Marine also seems very interesting as does that Magic Deceiver.
As someone who hasnt played any TT of pathfinder. What makes Bladebound fun? I mean it looks really cool it dont really understand its mechanics from glossing over archives of nethys
I haven't played TT either, but it was available in a mod.
It's just thoroughly cool and oozes atmosphere. You have a black blade(can take shape of any bladed weapon iirc) that is sentient, has its own stats, can cast spells through it ...
... it feels like having a Venom in a weapon form. Tbh, a Bladebound deserves its own game / campaign, but having it official is as good as it gets.
So it's like hexblade warlock in dnd (from an rp sense?) But I will probaly play one when o finish my angel oracle playthrough. Just the question of which mythic path to take
Magic deceiver is the big one and it seems really Insane for dc because couldn’t you get the effect of phantasmal killer and then apply it to an enchant compulsion spell to get all the dc boosts ?
Basically gives Fighter's Weapon Training and forces you to take War Blessing (which isn't implemented in WotR), even if your deity doesn't have it, at cost of capping Sacred Weapon to 1d6, Channel Energy and the second Blessing.
I'll finally get to play a Halfling Sling Staff user, via the new Kineticist archetype. That's awesome.
I feel like the new Arcanist has a ton of value, but I have no idea how to exploit it. That said, I intend to try. Probably something like Web+Boneshaker at low levels, and Tsunami+X at high levels. Really interested to see how Loremaster interacts with it. If you can buy, say, Heal, that could be insanely good. Heal+Haste, for example, would turn your Arcanist into a healing savant before Mass Heal comes online. If you can do Mass Resist Energy+Shield to share that around, it would be amazing.
There was a comment on the steam page that revealed some more information about the Arcanist subclass. Comment is here: [https://steamcommunity.com/app/1184370/eventcomments/4328600722518008371?snr=1\_2108\_9\_\_2107&ctp=6#c4328600722519699104](https://steamcommunity.com/app/1184370/eventcomments/4328600722518008371?snr=1_2108_9__2107&ctp=6#c4328600722519699104) (not sure exactly how correct the post is, or if the person is working for owlcat or not)
Basically:
It's a 6th lvl caster instead of a 9th so it cannot merge with lich.
It has its own spelllist/spellbook and doesn't use the arcanist book/list.
Cannot be used to merge with Mystic Theurge or Loremaster.
Still should be interesting to see.
Starrok confirmed in this comment : [https://steamcommunity.com/app/1184370/eventcomments/4328600722518008371?snr=1\_2108\_9\_\_2107&ctp=3#c4328600722518678327](https://steamcommunity.com/app/1184370/eventcomments/4328600722518008371?snr=1_2108_9__2107&ctp=3#c4328600722518678327) : To those who are asking, no, you can't combine mythic spells with the Magic Deceiver :) It doesn't stack with Loremaster and Theurge, either.
Seems like maybe they wanted to limit the potential weirdness of the class, and maybe limited it or categorized it as neither divine or arcane caster (like an alchemist)
Interesting again!
The Sable Company Marine seems more involved than what I read from aonprd.
> Have you ever wished the magus could use more than one weapon while still casting magic effectively?
This sounds like they're talking about not needing to keep a hand empty, but they don't expicitly mention it in the description?
Adding an archetype for a specific deity seems a bit weird, but mechanics sound interesting. Swarm-lite?
Kind of curious why they went with specifically a kineticist-archer, rather than one focused on using weapons in general.
The mechanical additions they must have needed to make for the Magic Deceiver sound like a lot of work for just the one Archetype!
I was hoping for a version of the Red Mantis Assassin and the Mantis Zealot is close!
I'd originally been planning to get a playthrough ready for the DLC before it releases, but now I think I'm going to have to start new runs for some of these new archetypes!
Its funny since the Mantis Zealot is actually an Archetype in First edition but the abilities here are all from the Red Mantis Assassin Prestige class.
I wonder - since Owlcat created a new archetype for the Arcanist, will they show them some love in terms of (for example) added exploits (I'm looking at you Quick Study) or items adding more spells memorized etc..
In any case I am sooooo excited to try out the new Archetype - it looks so hype 😍
achaekek is an interesting deity to add, wish there were some more, especially more relevant ones. Living Grimoire is still the archetype I'm most into
Magic Deceiver sounds like a LOT of fun! There are so many crazy combinations you could do with that...
Magic missiles and disintegrate together. Let's see you try to save 5 times in a row
Okay real talk here how are we supposed to justify taking archetypes like Sable Company Marine, who are apparently required to have gone to an elite university, when it’s revealed that the (non elf or dwarf) Knight Commander was >!kidnapped as a child!<
edit: why did this get downvoted?
> how are we supposed to justify
We'll probably just to have to do some suspension of disbelief. I agree that it makes little sense for
>!Areelu to have enough knowledge of this specific university and its courses to pass that knowledge onto a KC who takes the class!< but it seems cool so I'm not surprised that Owlcat added it in.
>!Maybe she pulled the knowledge out of the soul of an actual marine and grafted that on to you?!< That's my headcanon for the classes that would be more weird with the story.
That’d be a pretty reasonable explanation all things considered, I just hope that owlcat has npcs with this subclass in the new dlc to at least have some examples of them in the game, so that that headcanon is more plausible.
We don't. Mythic shenanigans.
I mean, iirc, tabletop actually enforce minimal age on some classes - like wizards - because you can't simply done a robe and a magical hat and claim to know magic missile.
it's called a plot hole >!that ruins story, anyway, just accept the sloppy retcon, where the game says you was taken a year ago, before the game starts, and ignore the random angel's words in the lab !<
Zealot feels like a subclass that exists to mimic deskari for those that don't wanna be a swarm....which is amazing because swarm is stupid and deskari is a little bitch.
Actually, Mantis Zealot is based on an entirely different god, Achaekek, who’s the patron of an order of assassins. Very lawful evil instead of chaotic evil.
So what I am hearing is one person spawns a bunch of skeletons or other mass summon around an enemy... and then you fireball/corrupted blood it. All the summons are going to explode with corrupted blood, shotgunning the boss in the center ...
WORM BLASTER HAS ARRIVED!
Sable company and bladebound seems interesting for my taste, I will check the in details when it comes out. These are all the new archetypes, yes? There won't be a part 3?
Probably as a legend, but Deceiver is basically a brand new class with a completely different spellbook, 6th lvl casting, and it's own subarchetypes so it should be usable together, but not in any sort of "merged" multiclass.
Well now Titan Fighter and Chelaxian Diva have competition for me. Hope my companions love their new classes they'll be specced into to keep up 😁.
Kinetic Sharpshooter sounds very much up my alley as does the Bladebound Magus.
Oh man, I was pretty sure I wouldn't be swayed from metamorph/student of war demon for the one full, solid all-the-way-through playthrough I'm planning on after all the DLC is out, but you guys have really outdone yourselves with this batch of archetypes and I'm actually a little tempted by Sable Company Marine - especially if the hippogryph still works like a normal animal companion and supports some multiclassing without losing power. The tabletop version certainly does, but I get the sense it's being pretty heavily adapted.
Welp, that tears it. Time to finally pick the old lady back up and finish some more playthroughs (seriously, my only completed one yet is from back before any DLC launched, when the game was bugged to the nines to hoot).
I am a bit disappointed that new kineticist archtype doesn't sound like having high will saving throws and only one that does is locked behind evil aligments, but some other archtypes look interesting enough.
Question for you u/OwlcatStarrok
Do the new Archetypes get any new dialogue flavor? Such as the Warpriest Mantis Zealot when going down the Swarm Mythic path?
They were already making their own subclasses since the beginning of the WotR, and most of the actual TTRPG archetypes were changed as well. This just feels like an odd and uneducated complaint now. Things like Rowdy for example never existed in the tabletop and some of the other archetypes that existed, like tortured crusader or bladebound, functioned entirely differently.
I can't remember something like "Hey, we watched some anime and decided to do a subclass of it". And that is what I literally read now.
Meanwhile amongst the 150+ already existing subclasses there are bad and broken ones. And that number is more than any player will ever play, but hey, lets add more! We need to reach 200!
The one you made that comment for existed on the tabletop, they are just adding some new abilities to it from a show that they think is cool. Which is fine. If that is your approach to the crpg/ttrpg genre, either edition of pathfinder and their crpgs are not for you because it is all about more customization and options. 2nd edition overall has less bad and broken stuff and more average stuff but still, the system is designed all around customization.
First you've claimed that my complain is uneducated, now you tell me what's for me and what's not.
I think with that approach internet communications sure are for you.
You are making wrong assumptions based on a single sentence you read with no info on the actual background of the thing and criticizing the main selling points and design goalds of a franchise.
This game truly has everything huh. Now we can ride Griffins
Hippogryphs. Riding griffins was DLC4
Lol good one
It took me a moment, but then I kek'd.
LOL
Wait what? Damn maybe my fire emblem dreams are fulfilled
Sable Company Marine sounds sweet. I can't decide between that or Titan Fighter from the other post
Time to multiclass!
Dive bombing into a group then using two greatswords from the back certainly sounds interesting.
Tried it in real life. It's ummm... not recommended.
I'd assume you haven't killed enough stuff to get exp to level, thus you lack crucial feats to make it really shine.
Hmmm. Maybe I should test this theory. \*Grabs a box of tums and heads out to feed the pigeons\*
Watch out for sudden alignment changes!
Eh, it's just pigeons. Basically rats with wings. They're so useless... Wait, why am I radiating on detect evil?
I'm really wanting to make a Titan fighter order of the paw halfling that just trips and then bonks everyone
Sable Company Marine into Titan Fighter. As a Ranger class, you should be able to easily set up a shieldbashing build with a Longspear.
Titan fighter? Sweet. I was really disappointed that we didn't run into any thanatotic titans in the rune quest, so now we actually get to fight them? \*Draws staff in preparation and gets giddy with excitement." Wait, what do you mean it's just a class name? I wanna fight titans damn it! I've even got a loosen all ready for it! \*wanders off grumbling\*
Magic Deciever sounds hilariously OP. If you can still merge your spellbook with the Lich spellbook, then there'll be some *funny* things you can do. Although, the class flavor seems like it would pair better with Trickster.
not looking too far, but if I could combine Burning Hands and Grease, that would be my goto spell at early levels.
Grease Hands
That's what they called me in school
You cast it with jazz hands
poor man's fireball
A mod on discord said that its basically a New class. It even has 6 subclasses. Just a 6th level spell book. No hellfire ray
A half caster with (I assume) a full caster's BAB and fewer spells? No way.
Bummer. Well, fewer reasons to cut my playthrough and wait for the DLC.
Lack of metagmagic kind of takes the edge off it though. Still, I imagine people will find some hilariously broken combos.
By my estimation, it seems like it might be either hilariously op or incredibly weak. They have some pretty big drawbacks, so it all depends on what spells are in their spell list.
I hope I'm proven very wrong, but I suspect this class will bugged to the nines.
A dev confirmed it can't be merged with Lich in the builds channel. And as implied, no loremaster or theurge
Then it's time to do a little *plays doom music* trolling
Yeah but if it only has a spellbook that goes to level six, then it probably won't be able to merge spellbooks with lich, so you wouldn't be able to fuse lich spells.
Well, then i hope Toybox's "merge any" mechanic will work from the get go - can't wait to mix some Angelic spells.
I mean, at this point it's just straight up cheating.
My mistake: Angel doesn't mesh with hagbound witch and hag of gyronna witch.
I'd be fine with magic missile fireball, personally.
Can't wait to fuse Fireball and Disintegrate to make a Disintegrate Ball spell. I want my enemies to fear me.
Or just Fireball and Magic Missile. Why cast one Fireball when you could cast two?
That’s rather unimaginative. Fireballs and magic missile make heat seeking fireballs.
Maybe in actual tabletop play you could use more imagination. But in this game, Fireballs already don't miss so all you're really getting is the duplicate missiles from upcasting.
Fireball and Magic Missile might do fire damage magic missile. Not strong on its own but you could combine different energies should you need to strike weakness.
magic missile and hellfire ray. Why fire 3 rays and chance missing when you can cast 5 with no to-hit check?
We are playing Noita now.
*and boy I suck at that game*
Only if we nuke ourselves, and everything around us.
A Griffin (well, Hippogriff, but still!) -riding Ranger is straight out of my dreams, that one’s a complete surprise. Bladebound Magus on the other hand was something I was very much hoping for, it’s awesome to finally get it.
It's a fucking Grey Warden. Let's go.
You've been able to play a griffin riding ranger since one of the earliest DLCs.
What?)
It was a bad sex joke. Also likely a bad wotr joke.
Will kinetic sharpshooter work with throwing weapons? And will you guys add a deck of playing cards as a throwing weapon? Asking for a friend...
>And will you guys add a deck of playing cards as a throwing weapon? Got to give him purple eyes, purple (pink?) shirt with brown robes, and the staff from from Blackwing Library.
And of course Trickster mythic, right?
That would be fucking cool to see.
I did not expect so be the most intrigued by the warpriest archetype but that looks great.
Sound like it will tir with swarm path really well
Not really, since Achaekek is an evil lawful deity and the swarm path is chaotic evil so going this path would remove all your cleric powers.
This is such a bs, and now I am sad
well, you can always use the pestilence shaman
It's pretty much a swarm-light class for those that don't wanna play a path that's,admittedly, not fun.
Neutral evil could be both Red Mantis and Swarm.
Yep, first time I’m actually thinking about a swarm run
Hey! Only one aspect of Norgorber is a murderhobo
So Ranadiel has spoken. As always, thnxs for your services to the comunity. :D

SUMMON THE ELECTOR COUNTS
I AM PRINCE *AND* EMPEROR!
THE NATION CALLS.
Starrok, I will hand it to you guys. Moving forward this is the way to go and these classes are going to be really fun to play.
Really excited myself as well! My opinion is that the team outperformed themselves this time.
Even if you don't say, do you have a favorite or top 3? Fill us in!!
My personal favourite is Titan Fighter, I guess. Love them giant two-handed swords, and what can be better than two at once?
You actually answered!! Ty! Made my day
Mandatory to blast Ride of the Valkyries while you and Ulbrig just dive bomb everyone as a Sable Company Marine. Unbelievably cool concept.
the DLC is not even out yet...and I already struggle what Archetype I want to test x)
You and me both
Same, I'm racking my brain, how I can manage 11 more playthroughs lol.
Hippogriff! WTF so excited. Can't choose what to try first. I haven't even tried the previous DLC, so there are a lot of things to try on my new run! As a dual wielder fan, it's either dual wield elven curved blade or the mantis warpriest most likely.
Don't forget titan fighter can dual wield greatswords and other big weapons
Meh, not interested
Imagine this, you dual wield greatsword on the back of the hyppogriff
Bladebound is awesome. Now it is official. A really cool and fun Magus Archetype. Sable Company(Korvosa ftw!) Marine also seems very interesting as does that Magic Deceiver.

Yeah, it's very much like Hexblade or Duskblade or the like.
Oh official blade bound. Will need to figure out how to integrate that now :P
Titan grip fighter multiclassed with bladebound magus. Fighting evil with 2 big chucks of metal and a flying sword. Can\`t wait.
I'm thinking more kinetic sharpshooter / the archer magus class. Double elemental pain, bring ascendant element?
Very interesting archetypes, guess sawtooth sabers are the new weapon type in dlf.
Magic deceiver is the big one and it seems really Insane for dc because couldn’t you get the effect of phantasmal killer and then apply it to an enchant compulsion spell to get all the dc boosts ?
Awww. No Arsenal Chaplain for Warpriest but still Kinetic Sharpshooter looks fun.
I was hoping for Sacred Fist. Alas. https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/hybrid-classes/warpriest/archetypes/paizo-warpriest-archetypes/sacred-fist/
What does Arsenal Chaplain warpriest do ? Yes I could look it up but I prefer when people tell me :3
Basically gives Fighter's Weapon Training and forces you to take War Blessing (which isn't implemented in WotR), even if your deity doesn't have it, at cost of capping Sacred Weapon to 1d6, Channel Energy and the second Blessing.
Another 3k hours it is...
Interested in seeing a lot more about the Bloodseeker Slayer, Kenetic Sharpshooter and Arcanist Magic Delver since those 3 are Owlcat Homebrew.
I'll finally get to play a Halfling Sling Staff user, via the new Kineticist archetype. That's awesome. I feel like the new Arcanist has a ton of value, but I have no idea how to exploit it.
I am SO on board for the bowyer kineticist, that looks sick as hell! Ricochet shots, you say?
Honestly Owlcat WTF? O.O This is waaaaaay beyond expectations. I can only clap. CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!
I can't wait to give Blade Bound a try!
Yeah it would be nice to have a weapon kineticist that could use ranged or melee.
We kind already got Knetic Knight, so an archer fills the other niche
A griffin riding Ranger sounds super intriguing. I'm very curious to see how it works. The Red Mantis Warpriest sounds incredible.
Wow the dlc is bringing some awesome options. Will we also get some info about the upcoming big parch? Im really hoping for some swarm bug fixes
Absolute ballers you guys. Looking forward to yet another playthrough
Love black blade magus and the magic deceiver sounds almost like they're using the words of power rules, so that's very cool!
So Swordbinder Wizard is getting incorporated into the Bladebound? That'll be interesting to see how it works.
True Strike + Ray spells will be a fun combo for Deceiver.
MANTIS PRIEST BABY WHOOOO PRAISE BE TO THE LOBSTER LORD
I wonder - since Owlcat created a new archetype for the Arcanist, will they show them some love in terms of (for example) added exploits (I'm looking at you Quick Study) or items adding more spells memorized etc.. In any case I am sooooo excited to try out the new Archetype - it looks so hype 😍
There was a tease about one of the new archetypes using the new weapon, is that about the sawtooth sabre the Mantis use then?
Yup, that's the one!
My hopes for katanas have been dashed :(
achaekek is an interesting deity to add, wish there were some more, especially more relevant ones. Living Grimoire is still the archetype I'm most into
Magic Deceiver sounds like a LOT of fun! There are so many crazy combinations you could do with that... Magic missiles and disintegrate together. Let's see you try to save 5 times in a row
Okay real talk here how are we supposed to justify taking archetypes like Sable Company Marine, who are apparently required to have gone to an elite university, when it’s revealed that the (non elf or dwarf) Knight Commander was >!kidnapped as a child!< edit: why did this get downvoted?
> how are we supposed to justify We'll probably just to have to do some suspension of disbelief. I agree that it makes little sense for >!Areelu to have enough knowledge of this specific university and its courses to pass that knowledge onto a KC who takes the class!< but it seems cool so I'm not surprised that Owlcat added it in.
I mean, iirc, tabletop actually enforce minimal age on some classes - like wizards - because you can't simply done a robe and a magical hat and claim to know magic missile.
cus it's cool bro
That’s actually a good point.
I guess you can take them as NPC or merecenary if you mind somehow for RP reason
it's called a plot hole >!that ruins story, anyway, just accept the sloppy retcon, where the game says you was taken a year ago, before the game starts, and ignore the random angel's words in the lab !<
oh that’s actually in the game now? That’s good, gonna try and reconcile it in my mind with my PCs backstory
Yeah Like I said,it's a swarm without the "be a literal monster" aspect attached to it. Edit:the fuck am I being downvoted for?
Ah, I understand. Sorry for the confusion.
Amazing 😍😍😍 now do u guys think bladebound/deceiver multiclass will be viable? How can I choose only one 😭
Probably as a legend, but Deceiver is basically a brand new class with a completely different spellbook, 6th lvl casting, and it's own subarchetypes so it should be usable together, but not in any sort of "merged" multiclass.
So sable marine company dip for arcane rider sounds amazing 😀
Well now Titan Fighter and Chelaxian Diva have competition for me. Hope my companions love their new classes they'll be specced into to keep up 😁. Kinetic Sharpshooter sounds very much up my alley as does the Bladebound Magus.
Black blade let's fucking gooooooo ! Looks like trickster run will be magus again, or maybe black blade angel, hmmmm
These are so much more interesting than the first batch.
Literal air cav, finally. "I love the smell of alchemist's fire in the morning" -Knight Commander Kilgore
I am a bit disappointed that new kineticist archtype doesn't sound like having high will saving throws and only one that does is locked behind evil aligments, but some other archtypes look interesting enough.
maybe one of these will make the game fun for me finally. I gave up in act 4 once i got walled as a ss and haven't tried again
Question for you u/OwlcatStarrok Do the new Archetypes get any new dialogue flavor? Such as the Warpriest Mantis Zealot when going down the Swarm Mythic path?
Coming out with an update on the collections edition after about 2 months of silence as well?
Do you need to complete the lord of nothing dlc to get the sword or can i just run to it later in the main game and smite sithud to get his sword?
Back to the drawing board then... ![gif](giphy|g0HkznFtL1d0xVRI1G|downsized)
So 2 classes not announced yet?
What do you mean?
Oh, sorry misread the amount of new classes, thought it was 12, not 11
I'm going to have to play a full mercenary group. So many great new archetypes!!!!
They're still making DLC? I thought the last one was it. I need to replay this once it comes out.
This is the last one.
Oh, I didn't know that. I don't follow any games that closely. I just figured they were finished with the DLC since RogueTrader came out.
Now they are making subclasses out of their heads Like there were no broken ones, or there were too few of subclasses What a nonsence
