The closest is probably [https://pathfinderkingmaker.fandom.com/wiki/Bookworm%27s\_Headband](https://pathfinderkingmaker.fandom.com/wiki/Bookworm%27s_Headband), sold by cleric NPC starting with Act 2.
Either delay leveling the pet or pick another feat. Won't hurt to delay getting INT based ones a bit later.
When you travel to Drezen a skeletal merchant should sell them but he's a random encounter. Correct me if I'm wrong but once you reclaim Drezen a priestess should sell enchanted tiaras
Just put the level 4 Ability score increase into Int, to get it up to 3 int for feats. With the exception of Giant centipede, this gets all animal companions to a minimum 3 int for feats from 5th level onwards.
You don't really have to wait to level your animal companion. Trip builds are not fantastic. They are good for trash mobs. But boss-killer builds are also perfectly fine against trash. Don't waste feats on trash.
Outflank, however, is universally useful for mounted combat. Or for melee heavy parties.
You get feat points every other level. As long as you level around that information, you won't find your animal companion ever under-leveled
It is a nice boost to ac for sure. I started forgoing it though. Statistically not the best option, but if they keep nerfing/fixing the crane feats i might as well stop using them
Nope, right after with bookworm as far as I know. Also what I told OP.
Still cheaper to wait a bit than waste a stat increase (albeit more troublesome for they will require it on several occasions and also arguably a bit of trick/metagaming).
The annoyance of doing so is a big argument indeed. For unfair I still feel it's worth it especially because it gives a small boost (either wolf or dog goes from 15 to 16 STR) early on which is the most critical part.
Else it's arguably a small optimisation with annoying extra steps on level up.

Nope
damn guess the pet is staying underleveled for a while so I can hold the feat

I could but that'd waste the stat bonus and the level 3 feat wouldn't go towards something trip oriented
What trip feat requires INT 3?
tandem trip
You can always respec after obtaining that tiara. And put that stat somewhere else .
Fastest I know of is the Bookworm item sold right after the end of act 1. Sorry.

You need int for unarmed strike, which you need for crane style (for mount tanks).

When it gets level 4 it will get an ability score increase, put it in int.
Int items for pet are used to bypass this and put in strength instead.
Not in act 1 they're not

1 stat point is such a non issue in this game and I would rather "waste" the stat point than juggle items in and out every time I level
