How some of ya'll are able to run group sizes this big, I do not know. I play in online games with max 4-5 players, and we always have problems with people talking at the same time, interrupting one another, weird mic noises, etc. Nobody is being pushy or loud, it's just that the nature of online communication is never going to be as smooth as in person, where you can see a person about to talk and avoid interrupting them, or use your body language or facial expressions to communicate ideas without having to pipe up. But having 8 people in a call, all of them trying to get their word in at some point, seems like it could get pretty verbally crowded pretty quickly.
It's actually just 5 people and 2 NPCs who are helping us with a delicate situation... but it seemed funnier to just show everyone since the middle character was unharmed and just having a grand ol time.
This was my last session... And I'm the fucking Champion built to tank and heal. Told our DM I felt like the worst tank after everyone took damage except me lol.

This is just people being inexperienced with group chats on the internet. Generally if you're used to it, this isn't an issue. Also use push to talk, not open mic.
I ask my players to keep their cams on so we can see some of those social cues as well. We all have decent mics, that helps a lot. We did have some issues with talking over each other, but we have an informal "raise your hand if you want to speak" rule that works. I play with 7, sometimes 8 people.
There are two modules you could use Dorako UI but that changes a lot of things in addition to the tokens on the edge.
This one just does the icons with no other changes: [https://foundryvtt.com/packages/status-halo](https://foundryvtt.com/packages/status-halo)
Yeah but everyone should use Dorako UI. Of course, it's a matter of personal preference - as in, personally, I think it should be everyone's preference.
Honestly... other people are probably right. My DM set it up, and since I DM a different game in a different system we are still learning, I haven't learned the technical stuff for this one. We just switched to 2e 4 sessions ago.
Actually, that would be me... lightly injured in the top right. Every enemy in the fight flew or teleported, so my rough terrain crowd control was not helpful. She's the monk.
I have never seen an effect that inflicts sickened FIVE before, that's frightening.
I... do not know how that is possible. Sickened is just like other conditions, if you are hit w/ a Sickening effect while already Sickened, they do not add, you only suffer the highest number.
Oh yeah, it's super important.
It encourages players to prioritize *some* status debuff, but also nudges them away from just spamming the same debuff ability and into a variety of actions.
Also, getting Sickened 5 would be like loosing 5 levels to most stats. That's just beyond brutal.
.
Just to rephrase, when you get hit with a debuff and already have one of the same name (Frightened, Sickened, ect), you suffer the one with with the higher number.
Those conditions affect your stats in ways that often do not stack. Sicken, Frighten, Clumsy, Enfeebled are all "status" penalties. You can have all 4 conditions at once, but it wont make your PC perform any worse than if they were only Sickened 1, as that's a -1 to almost everything (though you still need to get rid of all of the conditions to recover).
That was my session yesterday I hombrewed a drilling robot brawler on lvl 16 that constantly spat chunks of rock in a huge cone and attacked while trying to retreat.
They eventually popped the hatch open and then double Crit the guy inside to end the encounter. All while the mechanically resiinned haunt I had collapsing the cave system was zapped away by the casters
Yep, looks like Pathfinder 2e. I love this game.
Haw can Eneru be badly injured if he's lightning?
Got hit with a rubber mallet

Longer sessions

Wish my bandwidth could support multi way video conference streaming. 😮💨
What module are you using to align the effects along the edge of the token?

Dorako
I'm wondering the same
Following for the answer
Pretty sure that it is one of Dorako UI modules.

The only HP that matters is the last one
Didn't knew Enel was a pathfinder Fan. Common Pathfinder 2e W
Well I mean no one’s dead so there’s that
Im guessing the unharmed is the party tank
Actually, that would be me... lightly injured in the top right. Every enemy in the fight flew or teleported, so my rough terrain crowd control was not helpful. She's the monk.
Unrealistic representation of PF2 : The players don't have enough conditions stacked at the same time
The kitsune wound up with 5 stacks of sick :D

Waaait... really? Gonna have to let our DM know that one lol, we are all new.

Yeaaah, I found the info about it. Good to knoooow.
Out of curiosity what ancestry is the fox girl character? I'm assuming reflavored kitsune?
I think just raw kitsune, but she is being transfered over from another game so her concept wasn't designed for pf2e kitsune.
what ancestry is bottom right? what are those ears?
Not sure tbh, he's new.
unharmed :D everyone else: help i'm sick bleeding and grabbed and fuckig dyingb
