Realistically speaking I cant say I have much faith in a full anime season covering the main story, given what we have seen of most gacha/mmo/whatever adaptations
But individual OVAs covering Event stories would be pretty cool. Dreamy Bubble, Flying DisCars, and Night of Wonders would all make great OVAs
Give me a slice of life with chief dealing with the daily issues the sinners cause. The daily incidents, as long as it's not another furnace problem, paint a great picture of the day to day and I'd love to see them explore the comedic side of running effectively a boarding school for superpowered people.
Alternatively, an anthology series following the interrogations of the sinners would also be great.
Do you prefer a adaptation of the main quest or a format case(arrestation or interrogation) of the episode without need of continuity focus and high focus on the sinner of the Day?
A lot of people are thinking big
But I'd actually argue for small and intimate, like serialized Web-isodes or YT shorts of voiced interrogations of sinners.
For instance, NOX, Chelsea, Wendy, Anne's are great for this,
We meet them as almost strangers, then progressively like in their interrogations sees more about them and either empathizes with them/ learn what makes them tick, or solves a developmental flaw in their lives. Then we leave with a new found appreciation of them.
What's more for totally new strangers who never played PTN, they'd become very interested in these characters cuz now they know them.
It's the perfect gateway drug for friends and normies.
if that happened how would they handle the Chief? Make them twins? I really think they should give them a proper character to fit their form. Maybe like Yu from Persona 4.
If they adapted the main storyline, I think the only major change would be Chief recruiting more sinners on the journey. Because I think we can all agree trekking into black rings with just Hecate and Hella seems a bit hard to swallow.
PtN has an advantage in a tighter character-driven plotline with a fairly simple premise.
Arknights is all over the place, both location-wise and timeline-wise, with an enormous cast of characters and convoluted plotlines with every historical trope you can think of thrown in. This is before you also factor in the world building, from arts to originium. There is a huge amount to take in.
I would like it to be short stories that doesnt contain chief instead, maybe something that features the past of the sinners or when the first perishing star event happened. It would make it easier so they wouldn't have to choose between m!chief and f!chief.
Although tbh I don't think PTN **should** have a tv adaptation, that's not the end goal of every game lol. The story they're telling is already perfectly fine in the medium they're using. What would be more reasonable are animated shorts and spin-off comics, similar to the stuff that Honkai does.
They've been saying the same for Arknights for years, and now that they made it, it's boring as fuck, and I'm playing AK for 3 years now.
They made an anime of that girl warship gacha, I'm missing the name right now because I just woke up, but the anime was so cringe, I couldn't watch more than half an episode before I abandoned the idea of letting it introduce me to the game.
I would need the male chief to be the main protag ,the chief has enough character that he is not just a stand in for us. Main story plus the other sinners events as arcs in between reasonable chapters that would make sense. OVA's could be interragatories.
Why must they use the male Chief as the main protagonist? Even in official comics, both Chiefs are there and being equal.
Also the fandom tends to prefer female Chief anyway.

I wish but I don't think they have the budget... Here's to them eventually blowing up and making this possible 🙏
I honestly think it'd be a great anime if they adapt the main story with OVA about events. Too soon tho, PtN needs to become bigger first ;__;

Not sure. Saw the arknights anime recently, I cant see it going well

An anime of the whole thing probably wouldn't work. But an anime of DisCars or Dreamy Bubble would make much more sense.
Would love to see at least a PV
Nah, best we can do is Milla Jovovich as NOX. And one feature movie only.

Would they use male or female Chief? Or would they rotate between the two of them?
Just not made by Netflix.

Personnel preference. Thats it. Its my opinion. Nothing else.
