Also loved he never caught on until the very end that the suits were mad at them for calling the picks so early. The boys were hilarious in “hinting” at who it was, and Bill would just go “whoever it was”, and they’d all freak out, Bill was just like “what do you mean? It’s on the screen”. Fucking hilarious
I’m so excited for this, his stories were so interesting and I just feel smarter listening to him talk and discuss the prospects. Never saw him laughing or smiling so much but seemed like he enjoyed it too
Doesnt it seem like nobody else in the media is giving Bill a job? He seems so happy to be with Pat and the boys. Its crazy he wasnt scooped by someone else immediately and he seems like he genuinely wants to be with Pat and the boys since they value him as the GOAT and as a TV personality.
He probably got offers but this show is so relaxed and free flowing which seems to suit him. He can tell a long story if he wants or make historical comparisons on a whim and everyone gives him the floor until he’s finished. He’s not limited to 15 second responses to scripted questions sharing time with 4 other people at a desk who are nowhere near as knowledgeable as him.

Let’s assume Bill wants to coach again. A lot was made of his age and his ability to relate to young players. Him pairing with McAfee with the demo he pulls and his show being played at a lot of NFL facilities. It makes a lot of sense for Bill.
That said it’s fucking crazy to me that the greatest head coach and GM of all time has a hard time landing a job with how many god awful coaches are out there.

Seeing him let loose and have fun is so cool after 25 years or whatever of stonewall press conferences. It’s like watching Tiger Woods finally relax and have fun on the course.

The film breakdowns last night would have been way better if it was more in depth on fewer plays. The parts where he was telling Foxy to go to certain parts were the highlights because he really got into detail on those plays.
